Still more Alaska pictures

The end of the Tracy Arm. There is the glacier!
We did see a bear!
This picture is of Skagway and our ship. It is the top middle one.

This is a castle in Victoria, BC. We took a tour thru it and it was a pretty neat building.
A picture of Victoria, BC as we were coming in on the ship.
Craig getting a few more zzzz's on the deck. He was actually snornig here and after I took the picture I left to go look at something and he woke up with two of the waiters bent over looking at him. Scared him and them!
Two of the six hot tubs and one of the three swimming pools.

And Skagway!

As Promised, More pictures

More of our trip up the Tracy Arm. It was cold but we were die hearts and stood on the upper deck to view all that we could. It rained and fogged on us...but what beauty!!
Craig getting ready to plummet off the last tree stand on our zip line adventure in Juneau on Douglas Island.
Another picutre of the Tracy Arm. Notice the few ice chunks from the Glaciers.
Juneau. This was after our zip line. Notice my helmet hair.

Taken off the top deck of the ship at Skagway. That is it in the back ground. Craig and I both agree this was our favorite little town.
Craig getting a few zzzzzz's on the top deck.
In Ketchican.
All aboard the Princess Star.
Heading up the channel to the Tracy Arm. We would stand up on the front bow for as long as we could stand it. Wind blowing and rain.

Riding up to our first zipline platform. I just "loved" the helmets but glad to be wearing one when the tree/guide crash occurred.
Still more pictures to come....

NORTH TO ALASKA!

Here we are at the airport heading to Seattle for our cruise to Alaska. As you can see we are pretty excited. First cruise so we are off to the unknown.

Here is Craig reading up on the evening events from our "Stateroom". That sounds pretty important. We have a full obstructed view from our room. Meaning there is a life boat in front of it.
This is our first stop on the cruise in Ketchican. (sp?)
Getting ready fro our Zip Line activity in Juneau. I was very anxious about this and did about kill our guide as he blocked me from "zipping into a tree". George of the Jungle came into my mind as I was heading for the spruce tree. 6000 feet of zipline thru the Alaskan Rain Forest. It was great!

One of our formal nights. Ahhh! As the sun goes dissappears into the horizon.
Mount St. Helens as we flew into Seattle. (These are really out of sequence)
Craig with his zipline gear on.
Seattle as we were disembarking. ( I 've learned a few nautical terms)

Craig freezing as we are on our way up the Tracy Arm Fjords. Cold but beautiful.

Craig repelling off the zipline platform.
Me.
Craig always finds the gold stuff. He wants to be a mummy. This was actually in a lounge on ship.
Me at the end of the ship.

Again at the back of the ship. (Not sure what that term is. Stern, Port, aft......something. It was a great trip. I will probably post more pictures later. I am sure all is excited to see them!!!! Ha!

Parker's Blessing

Parker was so happy that we all came down for his blessing!

Went down to ABQ for Labor Day weekend for Parker's blessing. Jodie and Brent went with us and they got to share a motel room with us. Fun stuff! They got the roll away while we got the good bed! It was suppose to be a suite and I guess it was but wasn't quite what we had planned on. Thanks J & B for putting up with us! At least we had separate rooms!

Everyone, of course loves the long ride down there. It is kind of scenic? Actually on the way home we rode about a half hour in fog which seemed strange for down there in the arid climate.
J & B missed alot of the scenic Beauty.

And the star of the weekend.......Parker Craig Christensen! He was so good during the blessing- slept soundly.
At the Christensen's getting dinner ready. Everything was so good. Lots of food....shish cabobs, hamburgers, hotdogs, salads and lots of desserts. Michelle and Kyle know how to thow a party!
And what would be a visit without a wrestling match between Spencer and Grandpa !
Carly and Brent playing a game of swing kickball. (Notice the green ball in mid air) and Grandpa Chris working the Bar-B-Q.
