Waiting in ABQ.

This picture of Michelle , Spencer and I was taken last summer at Lagoon. This summer has been a crazy one. Not much time to just lounge around, going to Lagoon and other places of relaxation.

I haven't updated for quite a while but I have been busy getting ready for YW Camp. Craig asked me why the scouts can just get it all together the day before and leave and the YW - well it takes about 6 months of planning, calling, agenda changing, making ward leaders semi-happy, etc. But I have never heard of any young women getting lost!!!!????.

Well, camp went very well. It is nice to be a favorite. Got COLD STONE
Three nights. And since that is how many nights we were there that is 100%. The National Guard brought up canopy netting to set the tone with their hummer and then their climbing wall one afternoon. Got to love those guys! We also went rafting and canoeing at Scofield Resovoir. Of course hiking and singing around the camp fire. Skits, Tye-Dying, EATING, Tug of war over the creek, first aid stations, military obstacle course, Anti Nephi Lehi war, bombing the platoon. The usual things. GLAD IT IS DONE for this year.

Now just in Albuquerque waiting for a baby boy to enter the world via Michelle and Kyle. She has been having alot of contractions but nothing serious yet. Due on Saturday (one week). Kyle says Tuesday and I said last Friday. whoops.

Dad has been cutting down trees in the front yard. As I write this he is most likely done pulling out the last stump. What a job! It really looks bare but when I get home (Sept. Ha) It will be perfect time to plant other stuff. But yet again we will be gone another week. Dad booked a cruise to Alaska. I am excited but really haven't had time to think about it. I told our Primary President that she may want to fire me.

And kids start school in a couple weeks. Spencer starts on the 18th!
