Paper Slinkys and Paper Snowflakes
I found a draft of this post from a while ago, it was in that odd language everything was being translated to.
I sometimes make paper Slinkys, from strips of paper, folding it and connecting the strips to hold together. I recently found out how to make them without tape, and still be strong. It's a lot of fun to play with them, they work a lot like real Slinkys.
I got bored in Art, since I'm the aide and had nothing to do that day since my teacher didn't need any help, so I remembered something from a couple years ago that Julie showed me. Julie had made a square piece of paper into a triangle, then cut it, unfolded it, taped it, did all that 6 times, connected them, and boom! A 6-sheet of paper snowflake, So I got some stuff out of my backpack and made it into snowflakes... And kept because I finally remembered, it's cool, and fun!

Schools out in 2 weeks, and concert
Yay! I get out of school in 2 weeks! Say bye-bye to my teachers and go to Utah for Christmas!
I have a concert this Thursday at my school, got to play a couple songs for both jazz band and Concert band. We're getting pretty good at the jazz stuff, and lots of people are having trouble with the dang easy concert band stuff that I could almost sightread perfectly.
I thought of a cool idea: get a plastic milk jug and one of those balloon helium fillers, fill the carton with helium instead of air, cap it, then fly it like a kite :) Sounds like fun to me, though I don't know how I'll get the helium.
That's all for this week :)

Thanksgiving and Firebreathing
Thanksgiving was fun, I ate my fill and was hungry again later. Steven, Stacy, and Julie came into town. We had a lot of fun spending time together.
One of the things we did was Firebreathing. We would fill our mouths full of corn starch, which tasted nasty, and someone else holding a roll of newspaper on fire at one end. Then we would blow as hard as we could into the flames and the carbon powders would go up in a big fire ball. It was tons of fun to do, besides William accidentally inhaling the corn starch. We had to keep cups and jugs of water out, though, to wash the stuff out so that you didn't freeze your mouth in place. :)

Another Post today
I think I saved someone's computer.
On Yahoo, they have "Yahoo Answers", a Question and Answer site. I can ask or answer questions. I've used it quite a bit, and answered one question.
Here is the actual thing.
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/?qid=20081122065947AA2DEfr
He was having problems loading stuff on his computer. That happened before on my computer, so I ran "AdAware", a program my dad has bought the SP version of, and it caught some cookies, deleted them and my computer worked well. I told him to run "Spybot Search and Destroy" and "AdAware", I didn't know if Adaware was free, but he selected mine as the best answer saying the following.
I ran Spybot and it found over a thousand infections but I couldn't get rid of them (had to pay)
So I then tried AdAware and it got rid of about 577 infections mostly from tracking cookies. I still have the problems but they could have gotten worse if I didnt do that, Thankyou!
Sounds like i helped him, once my computer is doing better I'll leave him a note to say that he should run "Norton Antivirus" a program I know is free, just in case there's any big viruses.
William's Birthday Dinner and Leftover Lasagna
We're having William's birthday dinner today. I bet it'll taste great. Last night at his choice of restaurant I had ordered Lasagna, and I have some leftover. Turns out my mom is cooking Lasagna for dinner tonight. She told me to just eat the leftovers instead, and I'm glad. We both agreed that Macaroni Grill's lasagna tastes better than hers, though we could pick it apart and see why :)
Lets see... Basil leave on top of the cheese to only flavor that, I seem to recall asparagus infused in it, something else... all in all it was great.
Then that Cake! Wow that was good. It was covered in nuts, a hot fudge sauce, and had a cake of whipped cream to add to it as needed, about 2 inches in diameter, but it tasted like they made it with, instead of milk, fudge sauce.
I should try making a cake like that sometime.
So William's birthday dinner should be fun.

Macaroni Grill and "A" test.
I went to Macaroni grill tonight for dinner. I had about half my lasagna left over, I got really full. It was William's birthday, and his choice for dinner. Devon, Him, My mom and dad, and I were the only ones who came, but it was fun. There was a man who practiced singing "Happy Birthday" In Italian, and he did very well Accapella, though I can't figure out how it and no spell check will tell me how :)
I had a very hard test coming up in Science. I got a perfect "A". My teacher did it like a game show. The only question that was hard for me was "Which of these foods are not a good source of protein" Because I hadn't really thought it would be on the human body test. I had studied my Muscles and Bones, and knew it was my Tarasels that were hurting this morning, but I didn't know if cheese had protein in it. I got lucky and was asked nothing about the Heart, the part I hadn't studied much at all.
I knew I could make a post before the week was over, I had 1 hour and 50 minutes left.

Jazz and Friends
I had a friend over last Tuesday, and he brought his Wii. That wasted about 4 hours of my life ;)
We had a lot of fun, and while playing we got him a bonus on the game, by playing "Custom" Levels more than 10 times. Now he can build bigger ones, so that we can have more (And slightly different) Fun next time!
I have a Jazz Festival coming up soon. So far, plan says that we'll be leaving the school at 7:30, and getting back 10 and a half hours later at 6. Since I'm just a beginner at the saxophone, the music is really hard for me, but I'm picking it up. I got a 97% on my computerized playing test for it, but the internet corrupted the file and I couldn't send it. I'll be able to send it later, though. In the mean time, it's hard to balance out flute practice and Saxophone practice, so it's a of of work.
I do the computer playing tests with a program called Smartmusic that our teacher had us install. She can set assignments for us to play, or if the music is in the smartmusic library we can just practice. My band teacher sets tests for all bands, so I have 2 sets of tests to take care of: Advanced Band tests and Jazz Band tests.

Fixed Problem and Keyquest
I fixed a problem with my blog and can post again, it was translating everything into a language I didn't know.
I have no idea how Alex Burke found my blog, but I hope he notices that it's getting updated!
A funny thing happened this week: I found an online game called keyquest. You move around the board, try to be the first to get all 5 keys and to the winning square before any other player. Today I wanted to play it, but spend time with my family too. I made it into a game board, and found a "Sorry" game, disney version, so we never used it since we had the real "Sorry" game. I used the pieces and some buttons, plus a couple markers and paper and Played 3 games already. I played with my mom, she won, I played with my dad, I won, I played with both of them, I won, It's very fun and creative.
Just E-mail me if you want the game board, I'm going to re-do it on white paper and scan it to the computer so anyone else can play it, with a sheet with the instrucions on it.
It's 10:23 at night and I was wanting to be asleep half an hour ago :)
Bye!
