Noah was born yesterday and he is Josh's sisters little boy. Since this is their 3rd child we surely wasnt expected to meet him like this. We covet your prayers for our family at this time. Noah has an air leak in a lung. They’re doing a procedure to suck the air out from around his lungs, so that his lungs can expand and heal. If that doesn’t work, they’ll have to insert a chest tube. The doctor is optimistic that regardless of how they have to treat him, the situation is not life-threatening and it’s just a matter of time before his lungs are healed.
They’re also starting him on an antibiotic today, as one of his levels came back a little elevated, indicating a possible infection of some sort.
So, we’re probably looking at a stay of 5-7 more days for Noah in the ICU. We so appreciate your continued prayers.
