Two Years!!
Today marks the 2 year mark we have been in our new house. What a stressful day that was for us and how God has brought us through it all. We have so much to be thankful for. We are truly blessed. As this new year approaches, I hope not to be an Israelite in a desert but to remember the One who has Delivered me. Happy New Year!!

A Family Tradition
Another Cool thing about being part of this family is that my father inlaw reads in the bible Luke 2:1-20. Every christmas to His family The Christmas Story. I am so blessed that he has done so because now his son reads it to his family. As you can see in the bottom picture (which I actually took first being that Josh read it to his family early this morning before we opened gifts.) Then when we went to My inlaws, I'm just amazed at how well all the kids sit and listened to when baby Jesus came into the world. Our very own little boy, Drew Brady sat right by his papaw and listened. I know one day he too will read it to his family. Wow! What an awesome tradition!! :)

Happy Birthday JESUS!
Makayla and Drew Brady received their first Christmas gift for this year from The Klober's,Josh's boss. I thought about starting a new family tradition. I once saw my mother inlaw do this with her grandchildren and loved it. I figured since it's all about HIM and before any gift is opened or we travel and get sooo busy that every year me and my children will make Jesus a birthday cake and sing before opening up gifts.
They loved this new tradition.
I remember from my mother inlaws receipe, the White icing being how Jesus washes us white as snow. I also remember it calling for red food coloring to the cake mix to symbolize Jesus's blood and how he died for our sins. (It looks pink!:(
Unfortantely, WE ALL know what the dark chocolate is for: Our SIN!Friday, December 21, 2007

Princess Lip stick
Last year from Cousin Caitlin's birthday party she received this. After looking in my craft box making decorations we came across this. I went ahead and let her put on this necklace and inside has a grape smelling lipstick. She loves it!! After putting it on "all by herself"because she didnt want me to assist her in any way, she said "I am beautiful."

You Were There (Turn Up Speakers and Grab a Kleenex)
Avalon - You Were There Lyrics I wonder how it must have felt When David stood to face Goliath on a hill I imagine that he shook with all his might Until You took his hand, and held on tight 'Cause You were there, You were there In the midst of danger's snare You were there, You were there always You were there when the hardest fight Seemed so out of reach Oh, You were there, You were always there You were always there So there he stood upon that hill Abraham with knife in hand was poised to kill But God in all his sovereignty had bigger plans And just in time, You brought a lamb 'Cause You were there, You were there In the midst of the unclear You were there, you were there always You were there when obedience Seemed to not make sense You were there, You were always there You were always there So haven't I learned that my ways Aren't as high as Yours are And You alone keep the universe From crumbling into dust You are God and though we would Not have understood You There You were Hanging blameless on a cross You would rather die than leave us in the dark Every moment, every planned coincidence Just all makes sense With Your last breath You were there, You were there During history's darkest hour You were there, You were there always You were the Victor and the King You were the power in David's swing You were the calm in Abraham You are the God who understands You are the strength when we have none You are the living, Holy one You were, You are and You will always be the Risen Lamb of God You were, You are and You will always be The Risen Lamb of God

She Did It!
Last Night for the first time after practicing so much, Makayla finally did "the seat bounce". That is where you jump on the trampoline then bounce on your bottom then back to your feet. Before she knew how to bounce on her bottom but couldnt manage to land on her feet. OHH how proud we were of her last night. SHE TOO KNEW SHE FINALLY DID IT!

"Let there be Light"
My husband is the best!! He did such a wonderful job. It looks so beautiful.
Our decorated door looks like a present.
This year Im making our Christmas tree skirt. I got the idea from a Family magazine that had crafts in it. Each year you can get your kids to do a handprint and label which year it is. Being that mine are soo young they didnt quite understand that they can actually get their hands dirty and play in the paint. OHH well it works for me and OH what memories we are making.Saturday, December 1, 2007

Dad sold his house....
My dad sold his house and bought another one in Hendersonville. My sister, brother, and I are all a little sad about this whole transition. We used to live so close and now he seems farther away. These are a few pictures I took just as memories of the last house we all once lived in as a whole family. The Top picture is one of my sister, brother, and myself when we did our yardsale to get rid of the rest of dads stuff. This sure was tuff!! Sure hope mom dont leave her house anytime soon :(My very own "Bob The Builder"
My dad gave us a hottub. Only problem was, we had no where to put it since we dont have a deck yet. My awesome husband along with My wonderful Father inlaw, built one for this hottub. It looks great! Can't wait for the rest of the deck. Thank you dad for this GREAT and RELAXING gift. We so appreciate it!!This is what it's all about
