HAPPY HALLOWEEN..... its finally here.... the 31st day of this blog hop..... the list is still on my side bar.... i'd like to thank everyone who hopped , blogged and those hardy few who did both...amazing!

Well today i have two cards to share with you made by one of my twins.... little BD.... she made these cards completely on her own..... heat embossed.... stamped , coloured...everything.... i always try to keep my best piece til last and these cards are it..... Little BD is 7yrs old.

 Whilst you're here i might as well just show you the finished dolls house..... now a HALLOWEEN HOUSE.

DAY #30 OF THE 31 DAYS OF HALLOWEEN

Well its Halloween eve.... and this hop is nearly at an end.... the blog list is on my side bar....please check out Terra's blog for all the rules and a list of the wonderfully generous sponsors.
During this hop i have made quite a few pages for a book.... and  more than a few ATC's....that i decided to make into a book also.... so for my final day posting to the DE-STEMPELWINKEL DESIGN TEAM BLOG  in October i have to share with you the book covers created using DE-STEMPELWINKEL stamps
This is the ATC book, it contains 12 ATC'S plus note paper pages to write on.... it fastens with a ribbon tie.

                                           
Its coloured with promarkers and copious amounts of black and grey ink...as per usual.
I couldnt come this close to Halloween without another POE project.....

                                                                   
This i think you'd call a 'mini'.....? It consists of 6x double sided hard-board pages.... held together with book rings. For my cover i used a piece of designer paper and altered it with various stamps,stamped and masked to make a halloween/Poe scene. I kept the colours muted.... used promarkers and yet more ink...... thats it now just one more day to go.

DAY #27 OF THE 31 DAYS OF HALLOWEEN

Welcome to day #27....the full blog roll is as always on my side bar.... you really do need to check out each and every blog on the list.... so much inspiration....and amazing projects.
To day i thought we might need a bathroom break....  so its another room of my Halloween house done.

The house on the DP that i used on the walls reminded me of 'Bates motel'.... so i went with a 'psycho' theme.... the slashed shower curtains and blood everywhere.

The flash has washed a lot of colour our of the furniture....its off-white and really dirtied up with grey washes..... i hope the weathers better early next week to get some outside photos done...thats if i get the whole house finished ...... it looks alot better in real life.....the 'splats and splots' are discontinued rubber stamps from SMEARED INK..... INKY DREAMS..... if you join the new RUBBER CLUB.... you'll get the chance of owning this set sometime in the future.

DAY #26 OF THE 31 DAYS OF HALLOWEEN

Welcome today #26 ..(.the full blog roll is in my side bar...) i have a new challenge and another DT project to share with you.
Firstly we have a new challenge for you at DELICIOUS DOODLES.... Its FRIGHTNIGHT

I made a dimensional skull and cross bones using one of Teri's images..... 8 layers to this one..... fussy cut and dipped..... well half dipped half at a time and spooned over....its the biggest one of these i've done and forgot that the melting pot pan isnt very big really :)

I distress painted a plaque with black and red paint....added 'Fright-night' then glued my skull on. Hope you'll be able to join us this week....HALLOWEEN IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER.
Next its another day for me at DE-STEMPELWINKEL...... poor devils...... anyway i did some more altering...this time a mortar and pestle i picked up somewhere.

I used a lovely black satin paint.... teamed with silver.... and stamped a skeleton frog from
DE-STEMPELWINKEL.... fussy cut and pasted it to the mortar..... i have given the mortar 2x coats of glaze but i think it needs a third.

 I have left the inside of the mortar and the end of the pestle plain wood just because i liked the contrast.

 Welcome to day #25 , the full blog roll is on my side bar....its another DE-STEMPELWINKEL day for me..... so.....

                                             .... i have made a white witches curio cabinet.

I have made lots of little bits and bobs....altered other bits and bobs..... and used 'found ' bits and bobs.

              All of the 'witchy' symbols are from DE-STEMPELWINKEL...... the stamped bottles, etc also.

I have used a faux rust technique on a couple of items..... made more little books and pencils..... i like making them.... Hello Mr Poe must have dropped by to take a looksee :)

DAY #24 0F THE 31 DAYS OF HALLOWEEN

Welcome to day #24..... the full blog roll is on my side bar...... not many days to go now..... so i thought i had better do another room of my Halloween house.

Today i have the kitchen to share with you..... a pumpkin themed kitchen.... a lovely '70s orange.... a rather dirty tea-towel by the sink and even dirty laundry now going into the washing machine...... this room still needs the 'little bits' but hopefully i'll all come together for next week.

DAY#23 OF THE 31 DAYS OF HALLOWEEN

Welcome to day #23...today i have two projects to share with you, both made with CS DESIGNS images as i am the visiting artist at ART WITH NO BOUNDARIES and
 RECYCLE, RE-PURPOSE and RE-INVENT for this month......and  reminding you that the month is nearly over and you have just a few more days to enter these challenges..... I have adored working with Chris's designs.... so a big Thanks Chris for asking me.

 I altered (an already altered clock..... i did it for a project last year) a clock using 'RAVEN' a new image of Chris's.... to me she looks like a very quirky 'Alice in wonderland' so i went with a bat theme to fit the challenge at Altered Alice.

 I have used glitter....well actually stickles but it still gave me the shivers.....  glitter and i are not the best of buddies.

 I also made a matchbook....using all three of Chris's new shrunken heads..... recycled packaging paper....

 ...and dinner money envelopes that my girls use for school.

 It is a handy little handbag size memo book, space to write your shopping list... with pockets for treasures.... or junk :)

Welcome to DAY #22... i did warn you yesterday that todays post would be a massive one....  i have two new challenges to tell you about and another DT piece.

The Challenge Theme for Smudgy Antics is

"MONSTER MASH".
You can base your project after the song, you can create a scene with a mash of monsters, or you can do a mash-up of images to create your own monster.  The more creative, the better!  If it is not evident as to how your project pertains to the theme, please explain it in your post.

I have gone for monster mushrooms :) The look on their faces freak me out..... so i have used them to decorate the walls and furniture of the 'lil' monsters room in my Halloween dolls house.

                                   Its room #2 done....YAY!..... another 6 to go...BOOOO!
The 'shrooms' and gravestone are SMEARED INK, coloured with promarkers. I still need to add a few 'little bits' to this room..... but i ran out of time this weekend. I've made another page for my book...... i did a little scene using stamps from HALLOWEEN TOWN, coloured it with promarkerrs and loads of ink....and white gel pen for highlights. Simple but effective...i hope.

DAY #21 0F THE 31 DAYS OF HALLOWEEN.

Welcome to day #21..... just one more Sunday before Halloween now.... amazing where this month has gone.The full blog list is on my side bar..... check out Terras blog for all the details of the great prizes from the incredibly generous sponsors.
Today  i have designed my piece for DOMINOART 31 DAYS OF HALLOWEEN.....so you will see this project later in the hop too...sorry.

My project is called 'DRAGONS BREATH'..... you'll see why later..... i have used MY MINDS EYE papers and stamps.....LOST AND FOUND-HALLOWEEN. I painted the box inside and out with a deep maroon... added the papers.... distressed them then ink distressed them. The box actually had a glass insert, so i covered it with thick card on the inside then lined/decorated it. The front recess had to be whittled away a little to get the 4 dominos in...and laying flat.

The dominos are stamped and coloured with sharpie markers and diamond glazed... now they have a lovely glass tile type appearance. The skull was stamped 6x, fussy cut and dipped in my melting pot, and laid into the wet diamond glaze. I added beads to neaten the edge and a spider in the corner.....

         Inside is a bottle of DRAGONS BREATH...... well actually lavender essence and reed diffusers.
