I was involved in some training recently, in which our trainer, a police officer, told us something that has stuck with me and resonated through me. Can things resonate "through" you? I don't know, but it sure feels like it did.
I reverberated, it resonated and bounced off every bone in my body.
Especially when recently I have felt like my patience is wearing thin; my fortitude is tested daily and my ability to facilitate progress has hit a wall.
When you are stressed to the max, pushed to the edge and you feel like no one appreciates you, just then.... when that one person says or does something that makes you feel inadequate, less than worthy and they minimize what it really takes to get things done, that is the exact moment I want to look at them and say...
Always be kind. No matter what.
Because people never forget.
The end.
