It was a really long day out... I think it was my longest day out in my two weeks in Korea? Haha.

S.Korea Day #10: Changdeokgung & Secret Garden.
In the midst of unpacking my luggage now (as well as my room and kitchen, since nobody other than me in this house bothered to -.-").
I edited the video yesterday in the plane.
That day was really, quite horrible. The weather was incredibly too good and hot, and there were no water points anywhere in the palace. I also returned to Singapore about 3-5 shades darker because of that day (only my hands though). I'm also now more certain that I really dislike following tours. I prefer having my own free time and doing things at my own leisure. However, Secret Garden is only available to public on tour, so that I had no choice.

S.Korea Day #7: Everland!
Yay! I can finally blog about this day! ^^
Today is my last (full) day in Korea and I'm gonna eat Loving Hut. Since it only opens at 11.30am, I have plenty of time right now to blog! So here I am. ^^ I like to be the first to wake up in my bunk. Haha! Yesterday, I was the last to wake up and I felt so... -_- But on other days, I was usually the first (if not, the first few) to wake up. My body clock has been doing so great these days, that my period came way ahead of time.
Warning: Too much info in the following paragraph.
Usually, it comes every 1 month or later (within the next one week). If it comes on the same date of the month, it's considered "on time" for me, but it rarely happens. However, this time round... I was initially so happy that my previous one came on the 3rd, which means I would be period-free during my Korea trip (and I was like 100% confident because it really never came early before, maybe only once which happened after 28 days, which is the norm for most other girls), but I guess my perfect body clock these 2 weeks has changed my whole body system. Lol. 23 days is now the new record!!!
Okay, so back to Everland...

S.Korea Day #8: Changgyeonggung.
Today, I'm supposed to be editing and posting an entry on my day at Everland, but I accidentally moved the entire folder of pictures and videos into my hdd last night (together with the previous few days' folders). Therefore, I could only edit the following day's activity right now, which is on my visit to Changgyeonggung.
Tomorrow I'll be out the whole day, so most probably I can only blog about my wonderful Everland trip on Saturday or later...? :(
Most who have seen my Instagram or Facebook would have known about the one thing that I am really, really, really excited to share... (those seemingly long captions are not enough at all)
I could only hope that my memory of that day will still be fresh when I get my butt down to blog about it... It was really a wonderful trip alone to Everland. :)
Meanwhile, here's my day at Changgyeonggung!
Initially, I thought that this palace was quite smelly. There was a stench of old wooden smell...? Or something else that I couldn't identify. There were not a lot of people around, so I guess it wasn't a popular palace to visit in Seoul... though there were a lot, and I meant A LOT, of students flooding into the palace (on a school trip?) around the time when I was about to leave (thank God). Many of the buildings burned down were never rebuilt (most palaces in Seoul were burned down and rebuilt at least once or twice before, I think). Therefore, the large palace ended up with only a few main structures to look at, with more empty grounds surrounding at both sides (as you can see in the map below).
As there was a glasshouse at the right (not shown in the map above), I'd decided to skip the left and explore towards the right. It was a choice well made. There was an extremely beautiful pond (no. 9 on map) that I reeeeaaaally love. ^^

S.Korea Day #6: Hyehwa & Ehwa Mural Village.
S.Korea Day #5: Karosugil.
Hello! Let me first blog about this day.
We went to Karosugil. It was my second time there and frankly speaking, just another typical Korean street (maybe on the more atas end)... We headed to Smoothie King to chill our afternoon away.
It was my first time drinking Smoothe King. No idea what was the hype about (if there was any). Haha!
So we went back to the place where we had dinner the previous time. We sat at the exact same seats too. Haha. And we also ordered the exact same dishes, except I changed the base of my sauce. ^^
We walked and shopped around Karosugil before heading to the Express Bus Terminal station to shop at GoToMall. I was so tired by night time that I didn't feel like moving at all...

S.Korea Day #3: Deoksugung.
I bought the entrance tickets for all 5 palaces, which cost KRW10,000. ^^ I love palaces to mad. Dianne would know that I almost went crazy (or maybe I did) while we toured around Gyeongbokgung last year. We couldn't even finish touring the whole palace because it was too huge. In this trip, I've made a resolution to myself that I'mma tour finish all the palaces and sweep clean every corner of it! :D

Innisfree SALE!!!
I have been a HUGE fan of Innisfree's products. The first few products that I tried during the previous time while I was in Korea were the sunblock, jeju volcanic pore clay mask and the green tea seed cream (there was a huge sale back then and I bought the green tea seed cream in a set that comes with samples of essence, lotion, blah blah). Then, I bought their olive real body cleansing foam (it's for the face and my mum LOVES it) when there was a separate one-for-one sale. Their products are SO good. I subsequently bought the green tea seed cream in christmas packaging during the december period (double the amount of cream but at a cheaper price!), more of the sunblock (the same one that I've been using plus another water-based type one for my mum to try but seriously, there was not much diff to me) and also the no-sebum mineral powder under a friend's recommendation.
None of their products disappoint. ^^
Then, some time during March (I think), when Innisfree messaged me about their SALE happening again... (I added them on KKT and they informed me) I asked my Korean friend Emily to help me check out what are the products on sale. XD Most of the products that I've been using were sold out (according to her), except for the olive cleansing foam, which I kindly asked her to help me get the bigger bottle one (since my mum and I love it so much). Heehee!
Never did I expect Innisfree to have SALE again right now!!! I'm soooooooo lucky!!! It only happened ONCE during my 4-months' stay previously, thus it was really unexpected that they are having this sale so soon right after the previous one! ^^
So today, I've bought the following products:
Total damage: around SGD62 (Won why you so strong sigh)

So today, I've bought the following products:
- Soybean energy essence (I've been wanting to buy this for forever... was just waiting for the sale to happen... and it finally did!!!)
- Apple juicy deep cleansing foam (since I already have a lot of olive ones lining up... I thought maybe I could try this alternatively to see if it works greatly as well, as it is much cheaper)
- Green tea pure cleansing water (I was deciding between the different cleansers but chose this in the end because I really needed something to remove my daily sunblock before cleansing my face and also since I am going really lazy on make-up now...)
- 2 x sunblock (LOL stocking up)
- A small puff to replace the one I have in my mineral powder (hygiene!)
Total damage: around SGD62 (Won why you so strong sigh)
I've seen the price for the soybean energy essence in Singapore before... Crazy it was like what? SGD50 or above? Hahahaha! #cheapthrill
That's all. It would have been better with pictures but I can't be bothered. I just wanna note down my happy purchases today and my Innisfree journey. ^^
S.Korea Day #2: Samcheong-Dong & Bukchon Hanok Village.
I was so afraid that I would miss a good moment that I ended up taking down videos of almost everything I saw and every road I walked. I think I've taken too much... I should probably limit myself and cut down on unnecessary video-taking. :x

S.Korea Day #1
Hello! Finally, it's happening!!! My graduation trip back to the place where I can call it my second home... ^^
| Tired face. Not even sure if I did sleep the previous night? |
I had never taken SQ before, and all along I've heard about how good it really is (living up to its brand name and reputation). Therefore, when I found out that SQ was having sales, and the roundtrip tickets for Korea only costed slightly below SGD700, I BOUGHT IT.
Actually, I was hesitating for one whole day because I was contemplating whether I should go solo or not. Then, when the night came, I went to check the tickets and they were SOLD OUT. I was sooooooo devastated!!!
Then I couldn't remember whether it was the next day or later in the night that I went to check the tickets again and they released NEW sales tickets!!! Okay, I don't really know how to phrase this, but when I saw that the timings were better and everything looked really great, I went ahead to buy it.
I felt like if I were to spend any more time contemplating (e.g. deciding whether to go solo, or who to ask along with, then deciding the dates with those people and etc), the tickets would be gone again soon. Thus, I just bought it without thinking too much. It didn't even settle within me that I may really be going solo. I just wasn't thinking about it. "Buy Now, Think Later" was my phrase during that period of time, lol.
