I watched the 1st race of MotoGP on TV today!
Great great great race in Japan
Did I mention the umbrella girls are damn kawaii?
Like Japanese kawaii that kind of kawii?
OMG!

Anyways it was a damn exciting race from start to finish
Saw plenty of different modifications to previous bikes
And killer overtaking at S-shaped hairpin corners
Throw in hardcore straightline acceleration
Oh just cant wait for MotoGP S'pore Changi to arrive in 2010
=)



Entertaining stuff for the fight in top 5 places
Not once last season did we have such close competition
Rossi led for like 10+ laps before being overtaken
And Dani Pedrosa climbed around 10 places to challenge
Rossi for 2nd placing
Not forgetting Mr Ducati making a breath-taking
overtaking move on Honda Respol rider
Great stuff man!
And yes the umbrella girls of course!

I think the new Kawasaki Ninja ZX-RR in black is the

meanest machine on the track

If drive at night surely looks damn menacing

Day 1

So here we go with the Perth holiday trip entry!



After flying for 5+ hours on the squeezy Jetstar airline
We finally arrived


Jetstar is different from Jetstar Asia btw
Got provided bottled water wor!

Adrian's friend David the Commando Officer came
and pick us up
Hahaha. Same as Taiwan
Always good to have friends in countries you are visiting

And the first thing I noticed when I stepped out from
the airport was the strong blast of icy wind
Feels damn chilling to the flesh
But refreshing indeed!



Checking into our Backpackers suite
Looks kinda "combat" as they mention
But gt personal toilet and breakfast
So its good!



Need to slot in bed sheets and whatsoever
Took some time and it was near 2 plus already
Zzz to the max







Check out the kongfu-style hands
Starved boys gorging on Aussie beef patty
They have more different type of Mac meals than us
Took quite a while to figure out what we wanted to eat

You can randomly hear and see turbo-charged cars
and superbikes roaring down the road

Early next morning

After a very filling breakfast of cereals and toasted bread

We went for a walk to the city centre to explore

Fill you guys in on the details of the experience in the

backpackers in further entries

The sun is shining and yet you dont feel hot

But the rays are glaring to the eyes

After walking for 15 mins

We reached the junction

And traffic stopped on all sides before predestrians can cross

So after the zoo, we walked around South Perth

before going back to the city itself

Next up was the Perth Mint

No pics could be taken inside due to too much expensive

and valuable stuff located inside the place

But we got a timing for the tour of the place

We saw gold-pouring in action

And thats pure gold for goodness sake

I like the way the person did the whole act

His commentary was entertaining and useful

Very attention-captivating

And the way a gold bar is made in real life is an

once-in-a-lifetime experience

Awesome stuff!

Plus we got to try and lift a gold bar itself

I thought my wrist nearly snapped

Damn heavy

Some funny old ladies tried their luck and their comments

were damn witty too!

And we got to see the different types of gold bars made

for different countries

Plus all the real Olympic medals for 2004 Sydney

I mean its totally different from the ones you see in TV

Better up close and personal

So after the Perth Mint

It was 5pm already

And damn, Aussie after 5pm is....zzz time

Hahaha

So called and met up with Deb at the city hall

This is Deb walking with us back to our backpackers

to get the stuff I lunged all the way from homely S'pore

And her bringing us to a place where there's chinese food

Its a place called Northbridge

And supposedly there's nightlife there

Of cuz with all the strip clubs and what not

Haha. Didnt enter one though

1st day do this kinda of stuff

Like morally not good

Hmmm

So after dinner we walked and walked

And supposedly she said there's things there

And OMG

We walked all the way

For like...20 minutes

And there's....blackness

OMG

Nothing at the end of the street!

Nearly fainted on the spot

Its like quite a ghost town

And all the way she assured me there's definitely things

to be seen or what

But along the way she said she hasnt been at Northbridge walking

=/

So we sent her to her bus station

Talked a lot while on the way there

Seems like Aussie is not such a heavenly place after all

Or should I say its a kinda of different thing to expect from Singapore

Concept, lifestyle, food, culture, expenditure, acadmeics etc

Varies quite seriously

But the good thing is she's still hanging on

2 months only what

Hahaha. But ya, sorry about the lamp though

LOL!
