Hantaran Handphone

I REALLY DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY PEOPLE WANT TO GIVE HANDPHONES AS PART OF HANTARAN!

seriously!

gadgets are always updated, they have very short lifespan. dont they ever think of that? i mean, come on la... hantaran is your gift to your other half. when giving hantaran, think thoroughly that this is what you want to give to that person as part of your wedding memory, which is forever.

to me, i would give something that he can keep for as long as he could and he can look back at the things i gave him so that it has a sentimental value, period!

and when the phone is already outdated or you lost it or it's damaged, it would just be a piece of shit that you'll def say, ala boleh beli baru. give something that is memorable, something long lasting, something forever.

camera is okay because no matter what, it could still be kept as a vintage item. perfume is okay too because it's a revolution of our adat in giving 'wangi-wangian'. makeup set? no so much. i prefer kain than that. at least you can tailor it and keep it for a long time until you cant fit the baju anymore. shoes, bags, belts - as long as it's leather, it's fine.

no phone, ipad, gps navigator, playstation or any gadget shit like that. it's... bluerghhhhhh. stupid.

and when you look back at your wedding album, you will look at it like how you see these pictures below. something, bluerghhhhhhh.

Salute

we started this project called Project X whereby each of us has to snap a tight shot of ourselves, salute, turn it into black & white, and post in on instagram and fb as profile picture.

because we're so cool like that.

and i have really beautiful girlfriends.

i feel like 17 again. except that we didnt do it in the toilet. lol.

Busy year!

OMG i feel like i havent had a good rest since the beginning of the year. my schedule is packed during weekdays, weekends and public holidays. I feel like I'm struggling trying to juggle all the things at once.

this weekend too.

Friday - i'm going to that Bridal Fair in Shah Alam Convention Centre. Need to sort out everything already!

Saturday - There's this picnic event at Kepong park, organized by my friend. It's interesting how they planned to have a day out at a park from 10 to 4, with performances and activites like HULA HOOPS AND FRISBEE!! oweeeeeeeee

Then im going to JB for a day trip with H. gotta drop by my relatives houses too. urgh sure penat.

Sunday - tailoring for my wedding day!!!!

Monday - it's my 4th anniversary with H :) u know what we'll busy doing. lol. xoxo

What's Your Lip Colour?

ever since i first bought MAC's Kinda Sexy lipstick, i fell in love with it right away. I haven't changed my lipstick colour ever again. Until this date, whenever I've ran out of lipstick, I'd go to straight to MAC store and buy that only that colour. there was once when they all ran out of stock and I had to go from OU to KLCC to Lot 10 just to buy that colour! i do not want any other colour anymore.

my baby brother all grown up

i have started to hangout and lepak with my brother a lot lately. now that he's done with school and has nothing to do, i pity him for staying home doing nothing besides watching tv and playing game.

i think i'd get a heart attack if i found out he has a gf. he's mine!!!!!

My BFF is Married!

ho yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! 1 down, 4 to go!

ayu got married to the man of her choice last saturday. nikah was held at a (very nice) surau in gombak.

the girls mission: dress like makcik-makcik (so that we won't overglam the bride on her special day).

and we all looked very the makcik. haha. but we were very satisfied with that decision.

we all came just minutes before the nikah started. we we're having problems with finding that place... we even called ayu (who was already there in there surau, looking all pretty and ayu, and still answered our calls! awwwwwwww). i couldnt imagine how it looked like. she must be like, sitting all ladylike, putting up smile and all, and answered our calls because the girls are just dumb blondes when it comes to reading road maps. lol.

we refused to accept the fact that she's getting married. until the moment of akad, it suddenly hit us. we were all clucthing our hands during the lafaz and all teary when it was declared "SAH" by the tok kadi. AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!

beautiful event. maybe because it's someone's close to us. normally i just dont give a shit about nikahs.

today was fun.

went out with the usual girls for coffee at bangsar. was supposed to go to Dip&Dip but it was fucking full! fortunately, my bangsar-fanatic friend suggested us to go to this patisserie shop nearby AND OH MY GOD I FELL IN LOVE WITH IT RIGHT AWAY!  they have this hi-tea that i wanted to try so bad but sold out by the time we got there ;(  must go there again!!

then, we went to threading and oh boy, it suddenly started raining heavily and got us stuck in front of the shop for half an hour long! luckily, there was this young boy who carried an umbrella wanted to cross the street and we just grab him and tumpang his payung, like all 3 under 1 payung walking across the street macam tah pape. hahahaha. just because we wanted to try the crepe cake at Humble Beginnings shop at the back row.

sent H to work because i had to borrow his viva to see the girls. gemok and his poser pose.

meanwhile waiting for the heavy rain to slow down, guess what we found in front of kkmart????

so cooooooooooooool!!! we got a repairing-tool ring for each of us. hahaha.

me and d got the wrench ring, el and ali got the hammer ring! i was hoping for a screwdriver actually.

Mom is overspending her money

ok. the other day i posted about the dressing table that my mom bought for my bridal room. yesterday, she bought a quilt cover set for the bed.

which cost her RM1,490.

i cant say anything anymore to her. i wanna talk some sense into her but when she's determined of something, nobody can changer her mind. i feel really guilty because she's spending so much already. worst, i wasnt there when she bought it. she just went around town to find the perfect set and called me when she already made the purchase, without consult.
