Happy 2015

Geee for all you know it's already a new year. So many things happened in 2014 - be it good, memorable things or the bad unfortunate ones.

Anyway, i hope 2015 will be a better year for all of us. I know it's probably wrong and superstitious but i feel like 2014 is a bit suwei for many of us yeah? Especially for what had happened in our country. We should call it the year 2013A instead. Hahaha.

I am still jobless. I have declined 2 job offers from very big well known companies because both are in kl. Dude, i cant even wake up early let alone wake up earlier just for travel time to kl. Kota damansara is one hell of a traffic jammed place i tell you. So im just gonna stay home and be panic when im running out of money. So far so good.

Back to my new year. I spent my new year's eve at a coffee shop nearby our house and im proud that i actually went out. I have been cocooning at home doing nothing from morning til night almost every day for the past 3 weeks. Hahahaha. Hey, last year i celebrated my new year at McDonalds drive thru! So im pretty sure this year is better because its a nice coffee shop. I dont think it's that pathetic, right? Right? Lol.

Well, i had too much fun on christmas eve. I think that should cover the fun until new year. We had potluck at my house. We swapped gifts. We did the secret santa thing. It was so much fun! Christmas is a part of my tradition - not religiously but more of the culture. I have been celebrating it for 5 years already. It's just that 2014's was the best ever. I hope 2015 is even better!

My humble house

Sooo my house is almost done with the new paint work, furnitures, lighting... phew! Home make over is super tiring and they cost a bomb!

A little catch up maybe?

I have no idea if anyone is reading this blog at all. But i kinda like having an 'online journal' because well, i actually have nowhere else to rant my crap. facebook is full of my colleagues, clients, third party friends (if u know what i mean), and twitter is boring - andddd it has word characters limit, my instagram is now public for the whole world to stalk. So yeah, i dont have anywhere private anymore. Writing in a diary is soooo 1992 yo. Have it this way then.

It's december 2014. Almost christmas (yayyyy my fav festive!). Here's what happened from jan onwards:

1. Jan - my bestie, zt got married on the 1st day of January (geee, hoping for fireworks much on anniversaries? Smart thinking actually. Nobody would forget their wedding date).

2. Feb - i bid farewell to dentsu after 4 and a half yearsssss! *sob*..... actually until today my ex bosses are still calling me to check if i want to go back dentsu. Haha!

3. March - i joined a new agency, McCann Worldwide Malaysia. Ive been assigned to work on OCBC and Zurich Insurance (well, mostly on zurich). Tough shit. I work round the clock because my agency counterpart is in London, and my clients in Switzerland. So hard to align things bcs of timezone differences. but i actually enjoyed it very much. Check out our TVC - we shot it in Spain. Our press ads and billboards were shot in putrajaya, unfortunately. Hahaha.

4. April - OMG best time everrrrrr. Went to japannnnnnn with mah bestiesssss!!! Amazing! It all happened in late december when ska said the tix to osaka is on sale. We all fucking bought it! Like, oh let's just worry about money later. Buy those damn tickets now! Hahahhaha. And so we saved our money in those few months and finally gone to Osaka and Kyoto. I should do it again.

5. June - celebrated my 1st wedding anniversary with H. Went to langkawi for a short weekend getaway. So much fun traveling with this dude i tell u!

6. August - raya was sad because maktok wasnt around. Tok Che is living with abang rizal because he's scared living alone without maktok :(

7. September - went to gili with mom and family. I thought it's surely going to be awkward but hey, it was quite fun! Amazing how H could be bff with my mom during that trip.

8. October - zt gave birth! We are all proud aunties!

9. Nov - leveled up my cooking skills! I can cook so many things nowwww!

10. Dec - guess what, i resigned. Hahahahahahahahaha. Im going to take a break for a while. Advertising is really tiring. It drains u mentally and physically.

Ok thats all for now. I have to start googling H's christmas present. This year we are celebrating with the girls too. They are all coming to our house for christmas. Weeeeeeeeee!!
