1st week in Deloitte!!

btw!! I got my placement at Deloitte.. woohoo.. n by God's grace, I was placed at the tax division.. yippee.. haha..

1st day(19th):
i was so excited.. plus a bit of nervous.. hehe.. i reached the co. app. 7.50am.. n i went all the way to Lvl 16 to meet Ms Tee.. When i was there, i did not meet ms. tee, instead i was greeted my ms Mary, also one of the executive! wooh.. she looks unpleasant but she's one good n patient lady.. ahahah.. so she brief me on my contract stuff n EPF stuff.. so much to sign n fill in.. hahaha.. cool! like a big boss *doink!*

Later, she brought me to my team. First impression of the office was.. WHOW!!! so many files.. hahaha.. looks more like storage room!! ahahaha.. really LOTS of files.. ahahah... the office arrangement is more like a cubical style of work place.. collegues there are way so friendly..

hahaha.. i like my team leader a lot.. he's name is Donald.. a way patient guy but fr other seniors.. they say he's a perfectionist.. fooh.. (later days, i found out he is.. but he's a way good temper guy!)..

1st day.. my job was to read a 3 inched file.. with a label of tax compliance HANDBOOK!! ahahah.. 2 of them btw.. hahah.. i read til i wanna sleep dy.. hahaha.. 1/2 a day i was doin tht.. ahahah.. later i beh tahan.. ahahah.. i ask my ah tao a.k.a. Donald, if there's anyth i could help.. heheh.. then he passed me a 2008 budget & PRs .. whahaha.. i asked for it.. more to read now.. hahah.. the whole day was really reading!!

later in the afternoon.. we had CIRCULATION (i.e. a senior bring us around the floor n other floors of tax too.. to introduce us to them.. hehe.. so it took us about an hour.. hahah.. it was cool.. ppl there are really friendly.. hehehe.. i like it a lot! hehehehehe... tht's about DAY 1!! hahahah

Day 2:
was better.. in the morning.. b4 11am.. my job's still the same.. BACA PR (i.e. Public Rulling).. sien betul.. so i emailed ww n we chat on emails.. haha..

at 11 a.m., we got a grp meeting.. my 1st meeting of the day.. ahahha.. so i got my portfolio with 38 assignees under me.. currently confirmed is 3.. hehe.. 35 are yet to come.. hehehe.. still at the finalising proses.. fooh.. tht's cool!! hahaha..

so i did some filing stuffs.. it wasn't easy as i thought, n also as u think!! ahaha.. it wasn't.. there were SOooooOOoooo many files.. n so many procedures i never came accross b4.. whow.. it was tiring .. ahahaha.. i really hv to familiarize myself b4 moving on the next step.. whoa.. but the good thing is.. the girl beside me.. Amelia.. really helped me a lot!!! without her help i'll go nuts i guess.. hahaha.. she guided me a lot.. she's wonderful.. hahaha..n Chee Yuen too.. my group mate also.. hehe.. he teaches me lots of stuff.. haha.. though those are simple stuff, but those are wat we really need to noe.. hehehe.. e.g. how to use the photostat machine, how to file stuffs, how to do this, that, most of the things!! thx mates!! Also, my GL(Group Leader) too.. he's so patient with me.. i made several mistakes.. but he's willing to explain to me.. he says he wants me to understand the proses of it... not jz follow.. whow.. u're awesome man.. haha... i learn a lot tht day.. i stayed OT til 8pm coz i haven't completed my work!! ahahah.. tht's bout the 2nd day!! hehehehe

3rd day:
i did my 1st Call today.. to an expatriate.. wha.. i was SO SO SO nervous.. kai wan xiao.. hahah.. but it went well i guess..haha.. Amelia helped me lots on tht..

I was kinda familiar of the job style today.. but, there's still lots to learn.. i know.. hehehe.. i started to enjoy my job today.. i manage to finished it b4 6.. hahaha.. so it was like a big YAY for myself.. hahah.. so today i stayed til bout 6 pm.. n hehehe.. ciao!! .. i started to get fond of my job!! Thanks God for guiding me through... U're awesome..

4th day:
hehehe.. i sent emails for correspondence purposes today.. fooh.. i really like my job.. it's really eye-opening..

Also, today was Chee Yuen's last day here.. he's fr sunway, also doin PT, but he started way early, so he's completed he's n today is his last day.. kinda sad lo actually.. hehe.. loose of the teammate dy.. haih.. nvm chee yuen.. i'll remember wateva u'd teach me.. u're a good teacher too btw.. hehe.. teaches me a lot of stuff.. thx so much.. gonna miss u!! ALL the best in ur studies too!!! ;D

oh ya.. i almost forgotten.. it's our GES (i.e. Global Employer Services)'s director's 40th birthday today.. 40 yrs old.. n she's already a director!! cool!!.. hehe.. the GES team made a secret b'day party for her.. hehehe.. she's cool weih.. had lots of fun in there.. hahaha.. i love it.. HAPPY BIRTHDAY WeiNA!!! hehehe... she's also very very friendly!! hehehehhehe..

I manage to finish my job today too!! hahah.. Guess God help me lots with time management.. hehehe.. yay.. my first week ended superbly!! ahahah.. i hope tht goes on the same for the rest of the week!!

Finally, gratitude for the week!! special thx to Angeline, my senior.. Jeff.. senior too i guess.. kevin for advices, Amelia n Chee Yuen for their superb guidance.. u guys rocks weih.. n last of all Donald.. *salute* my GL.. the perfectionist but patient Leader.. who trust me as a PT only but gave me my portfolio..THANKS!!! he guided me really WELL!!! hehehe.. I learnt, seriously, LOTS of stuff this week.. thx!!

My interview with Deloitte was scheduled at 2pm today..

But, since it's the 1st meet, i thought it would be good to reach there earlier.. heheh."BETTER" impression ma.. ahahah.. Well, I reached there earlier than I thought.. 1.15pm.. oops!! TOO early.. wat to do.. nvm la.. jz walk in.. hehehe..

I went to the washroom at the lobby to buy time.. hehe.. nervous yo!! haha.. about 1.20 pm.. i went up(by lift) to Deloitte Tax & Services Sdn. Bhd. ..Everyth i did was in a slow pace.. hehe.. slow slow.. but, it couldn't drag any further.. haha.. so by the time i reach that floor.. it's still bout 1.25pm.. there was a receptionist with the counter ofcoz behind a door in tht floor.. but the door requires some kind of card scan stuff in order to open. The worst thing is.. there's no bell.. n the receptionist isn't looking at the door..haha..

I couldn't do anyth but to wait.. ish.. I don wanna give the door a bang coz it would be rude to do so.. I thought.. so.. I jz pretend to give the door a hard push n the sound goes (biang...) haha.. Finally, the lady saw me.. hahah.. She came up to open that "sesame" door.. hehehe.. but she doesn't look very friendly.. So, I thought, probably I woke her up fr her nap.. her beautiful afternoon nap.. hahaha.. tht's y she din see me.. kekeke.. I went in n gave her the most friendly smile i could give.. hahah.. jk.. n ask...

So I sat at the sofa beside the reception counter.. n WAIT!! hehe.. waited for some time n another girl came in.. wooh.. she's wearing mini skirt.. "kai wan xiao"(I was thinking.. mana ah moi ni datang),. cz our head of division kept on emphasizing on dresscode.. no this no tht.. haha.. n wow.. one daring girl who wor striking pink mini-skirt.. gaya!! :D


k la.. tht's bout the waiting.. Then.. tada.. Ms Tee came out fr the office n called my name n hers!! hehe.. Yay!! finally! she brought us to a room. We started off with Intelligence n English Assessment.. hehe.. not bad.. n the best thing is.. I FINISHED ALL QUESTIONS.. woohoo.. nvr thought i might do so.. keke


Next, we hv LETTER WRITING... wha.. the BM really make me squeeze the juice of my brain man!! Now only i noticed tons of Malay wordings hv flown off me!! ai ya ya!!.. haha.. The word "Application", I put as permintaan.. haha.. cz i couldn't think of a suitable word.. keke.. it should be "permohonan" ahahah.. -.-"' .. kekeke..


ok.. enough on the torturing BM.. haha.. next!!


it's interview.. talk talk talk.. dun wanna tell ya the details here la.. haha.. not very good to do so.. keke.. but overall.. Ms. Tee is a real casual lady.. very friendly.. unlike the receptionist out there.. ish.. hahah.. So, the interview session weren't tht scary.. hehe.. it's good actually.. I learned lots of stuff via it!! Thx Ms Tee.. kekeke

Anyway.. I x start work on Monday..hehe.. cz.. this application will only be prosessed on the following working day i.e. Monday.. so, i'll only start work on Tues or wed lo.. hehe.. depends.. All the bez la.. hope i get the post.. kekekekekekek... PRAY!!!

I'm going for an interview in Deloitte tmr.. keke.. yup yup.. for my pratical training!! hahaha

This isn't an ordinary interview.. hehe.. for me la..

It comprises of assessments on intelligence, grammar, letter writing in BM (oh help) n English.. hehe.. cute huh!!

eee.. really nervous leh.. The assessment is 3 hours.. aiyo.. scared scared. eish!! help help!! y does it takes such a hustle to enter this co?? hahah.. my other frens said.. it's jz a procedure la.. hehe.. I hope so.. hehe

nvm la.. jz go for it!! Gambate oH!!! "Hope i succeed".. pray hard for me...!!

hehehhe.. i'm in Sabah now.. the land below the wind.. hehehe.. i'll be spending my CNY here.. ahahahahaha.. FUN!!!

This yr.. all my relatives will be comin back to Sabah.. ALL!! woohoo.. so, it's really.. fooh... BUSY!! haha.. lots of ppl under 1 roof.. ahahaha.. tht's cool!!

Just now..also called as ("YEAR" 30)-"nian" 30... we had our reunion dinner.. wohoo.. imagine.. 6 siblings + their husband/wife n an avg of 3 kids per family.. wha.. can u imagine how pack it would be.. hahaha.. IT IS packed.. ahahaha..

Also, hahah.. we played lots of mahjong.. hahahaha.. players are all teenage.. ahahahah.. speaking of majority wise.. except for my dad, my 3rd uncle.. n my aunt.. hehehe.. yup yup.. we did hv fun.. ahahah.. (no money gambling involved dun worry).. hahaha.. my uncle told me.. we are jz practising math.. hahaha... n analysing skills.. ahahaha..(guess tht's a way of self-consoling) wakakakak.. :)
