Haha.. The 2 days are our 5th Anniversary and our 6th time spending Valentine's Day together.

On Our 5th Anniversary, laura came to my place with her usual cheeky attitude and i know she had something up her sleeves. Haha she actually did a powerpoint presentation on ME~ OMG~ It was so funny but i think she was more entertained then me as she was laughing all the way. I wanted to take a video clip but she didn't let me do so or else i can show everyone :P I think everyone will laugh like crazy whaha~ She gave me a white Jacket for my anniversary which i almost bought when we were out shopping. Luckily i didn't if not she would have wasted her effort buying it for me. Hehe~

After which we went to Marina Barrage for the first time since its opening.(Haha this shows me and laura still have somewhere we haven't been to in Singapore~) I would say that's a very good place to relax and stare into space if you have time to do so. You can walk up to the top to have a view of the city from the other end. It's suppose to control flooding but i think most people just go there for relax as they made the place into quite an artistic structure. There is actually a exhirbition for people to view the concept of the flood control and how Singapore's Water Drainage system works. Quite a ULU place to go to as we had to take a bus from Marina Bay MRT. But we were quite on time for everything, the bus is suppose to come every 15mins? But when we arrive and leaving, we caught the bus at the nick of time and boarded as it was about to leave. Whahaha~

After which we headed down to outback steak resturant to have our dinner :) I would say that the standard have dropped. I think i would have prefer to eat at astons or hog's breath cafe instead. 6/10 I think haha~ Then i gave Laura what she wanted, i think she was quite smart as she can guess what i was giving most of the time.. Maybe i gave out too many hints :D But knowing that of course I won't let her get what she wants. I purposely did something to the wrapping of the presents and when she opened, she had a shock on the face which i took down on Video Cam.. (Private) She also gave me a "Lovers Band" there whaha~

Last but not least we headed down to suntec city to walk around and relax at Starbucks. There Laura gave me my last present which was more of a form of a game then a gift.. It was a quiz of the important moments we were together and i had to recall into to finish the quiz, which was in a form of crossword puzzles :) I can see the effort that she has put in all the preparations and I was really touched to recieve it all *Hugs*


Next Came Valentine's Day.. This year is the 6th time we are celebrating V day together~ Woohoo~ We decided that this year that we wont be exchanging gifts for our Vday(Not because we old bird), but we will still celebrated it :) We went to the Zoo this year, i recall we did went there for one of our Vdays a couple of years back.. That just shows that Singapore is really small! and we are running out of places to go~~ I wasn't really expecting much from the Singapore Zoo because when i went Australia, i realise the Australian zoo was having a more open concept whereby the animals are free to roam around and have nearer contacts with them. Unlike the Australian Zoo, Singapore's concept is more caged up.. But after we went there this time round, we realise there was changes made, like the kangaroo was having the same open concept as the Australian one, there was a cage whereby Bats can fly freely and animals are free to roam beside/ under your feet.. That's Nice!! But im happy as long as Laura's with me anyway.. :P

2 Weeks ago, I wanted to go explore Mt Faber for a place which i was very curious about, Henderson Waves. Heard so many people talking about it and reading it on greg's blog made me wonder what kind of place it is. we first headed down to Vivo City and went to the National Geographic shop wanting to see interesting things, but actually nothing that interesting except for alot of pictures of different places on Earth. Then we headed to the Henderson Waves~ We had to take a bus to the top of Mt Faber then walk down. I thought it's going to be a long walk about actually it wasn't, around 5 -10mins will get you there from Jewel box. I would say it is a new sight for me as i didn't expect singapore to have such a stucture, at least i have never seen it from below. I was abit shock how high it actually was and i had abit of fear growing within me when i was looking through the wooden planks to see how high we were away from the ground below us. But after awhile i got used to it so it wasn't that bad afterall. Relax there for the evening before heading down Mt Faber to have our dinner at Carls jr~~

Recently, Laura told me about a great offer to go to Taiwan, but too bad we missed the offer by 1 day~ Was kind of sad and disappointed actually. So the "Taiwan clique" headed down to Kbox to destress in the mids of prelims. Sang our hearts out on the SIANESS of not going. Was kind of funny at one point when we sang "Wo Men De Ai", change abit of the lyrics and we really sang out how we felt. Then we headed down to chomp chomp, can't believe alan and christine never really been there, well one is living in the east and the other west of Singapore. Then headed to eat dessert which we chatted then went home. We really talk cock, sing song , but never play marjong only :P

Laura also started work this week, I guess she will be more busy with her work and lesser time for us. But remember to make time ah~! Hehe.. I will always SMS and call you whenever you free and we will make time to go out :) I pray that she will be able to cope with her work and personal life~ I believe we can step into the next phase of life with more confidence and understanding :)

Well kind of a long post already.. Maybe next time then~(1 month's time?)
