Mojo Monday 405: It's A Boy!

Happy Sunday!  I've made a baby card using another Mojo Monday sketch.  This card is for some friends of ours.  They finally had a baby boy after having two adorable girls.  We are so happy for them and can't wait to meet Little Ethan!

Here's the sketch:

Here is my take on this week's sketch:

inside of the card
This is a paper collection from DCWV that I've had for a while.  I love the colors and patterns-great for both feminine and masculine cards.  The card base is a 110lb white cardstock I got from Micheal's.  The sticker is from a left over sticker pack.  I used one of my older border punch for the front and the inside of the card.

Supplies~
paper: The Linen Closet Stack & Cardstock Matstack {DCWV}
stamp: Verve
dies/punches: bracket border punch{EK Success}; Lacey Circles{Spellbinders}
misc: embellishment sticker{Recollections}

My First Pocket Letter

I'm always looking for new creative ideas and projects and boy did I find one!  It's called Pocket Letter-a fun, creative way to send a letter to your pen pal.  Check out creator, Janette Lane's blog for more details.  You can also join Pocket Letter Pals and find pen pals to swap letters with.  It has become highly addictive and a great way to use up left over crafting supplies.

So, here's my first Pocket Letter using Crate Paper's Party Day paper pad:
Front
Went through my stash of old supplies and found Prima's jar flowers from many years ago.  I have every color and now I can use them again.
Back
These are the goodies I've enclosed. Flat enough to fold the pocket sleeves and fits perfectly in a No.10 envelope. On its way and now to make some more pocket letters!

Project Life 2015-week 1

Every year, we visit my family for New Year's.  This week is us just hanging out and the small things that completes the week.

Used papers from Maggie Holmes mini kit, holiday mini kit, and Citrus Twist sub kit for this week.

For 2015, I am doing weekly layouts again.  Some weeks will have only one page.  And that is alright with me.  I'm not going to stress about not having enough pictures for that week. Like this week, didn't take too many pictures, so I created filler cards.

The bottom left pocket is a picture from an app.  My hubby does not look like that at all!  It was funny and had to put it in the album.

Project Life 2015

I can not stay away from Project Life.  It has changed my way of scrapbooking and I love it.  I probably have taken on too much, but I can't help myself.  Not only am I doing PL 2015, but also catching up on 2014  and creating some albums for my family.  I promised myself I would not get discouraged if I don't get them done; will take my time and just enjoy the whole process.  With that being said, here's the first page of my Project Life 2015 album...
