Throwback Thursday Challenge

Happy Thursday to everyone,
Well the weekend is almost here and I cant wait, its Throwback Thursday. We could use any cartridge we wanted as long as it was a old cartridge, and any one of her stamp set. The project this week is to create 'Any" 3-D project meaning, treat bags, toppers, gift bags, a set of gift cards, or a set of cards. Use ANY STAMP Set OF our CHOICE and any CARTRIDGE you'd like to use! I used My Creative Time Stamp Set Pain Pain GO Away
below is one of my cards for my card set.

I popped up the mail box and letter with pop dots, it has a vintage look to it. Way back in the day people you use to write letters to friends, family and their sweethearts. Now a days who handwrites a letter? Everything is done electronically or text.

This is my last official act of being one of Emma design team member, I had a blast and met some wonderful and very very talented ladies & Gentleman. I am honored to have been part of this design team. I will miss it, but I will join in on the challenges.

hope you had a wonderful weekend, I had a great weekend the weather was perfect. I made a birthday card for my husband neice her birthday is next weekend. I used My Creative Time Wow So Many Candles stamp set. I used the Sweet Treats cartridge to make this birthday card. I cut the little cupcake out of the DCWV Sweet Treats paper pack.

Flirty Anya / I love You

Happy Tuesday,
hope you are having a wonderful day, I thought I would post a card I made using the The Greeting Farm stamp Flirty Anya and My Creative Time Stamp My One and Only. Let me just say I am luving Emma's stamps they go with cards and layouts, I am also luvin The Greeting Farm stamps, they are so adorable. I have just ordered 2 more. I saw these adorable stamps on Live Love Scrap on Youtube and her blog http://www.keeponscrappin.blogspot.com/
I love her blog, and I also love http://www.butterflykisseswithlove.blogspot.com/ I am also learning how to use the copic markers I have to build up my marker. On the Flirty Anya stamp I stamped her dress and her flower on polka dot paper. I used my copics to color her face, shoes and hair. It's going to take me sometime to figure out the coloring of copic and build up my colors. I was going to use this card layout in on one of the challenges Emma had given but I went with a different card, I had this unfinished card I thought Flirty Anya would look good on this paper. She is telling her man she loves him. I think she came out ok for my first time using the copics. My work is no where near the ladies I have just mentioned.

Thinking of You

Well the weekend is over I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend, I spent some of the day getting caught up on some card making and a little organizing my craftroom. When I come to my room time fly's by. I made a card using My Creative Time Stamp Set Just A Little Note.
I used my Gypsy to align the square/oval image on top of each other

I threw a little of the Cricut Imagine on my card, I am trying to us the Imagine once a week. I am going to keep this entry short, Have a wonderful day

Throwback Thursday Challenge

Happy Thursday!!
Come on in and visit for a little bit. Today is Throwback Thursday, our challenge was to use any Cricut Lite Cartridge and we had to do a layout. I chose to use the Lacy Labels, I also used My Creative time Stamp Set Journaling. I need to do more layouts,to get started on doing albums for my children someday I will be able to do this. Below is my layout for this challenge

I am going thru a vintage stage, I love history and ancestry stuff, to see what family looked like back in the day and to see the styles is neat.
This picture is my mom side of the family, my grandma had 13 children. there are 9 children still living. I would ask my mom when I was younger about life when she younger, and having all of her brothers and sister growing up 4 bedroom house with one bathroom. This photo was taken in 1969 before my grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. There were signs of her having this disease but back then not much was known about it. I have 3 aunts that currently have this disease, and 2 uncles that have passed that had Alzheimers. My mother does not have this disease, Thank Goodness she exercises, eats right and keeps her challenges her brain. I hope I dont get cruel disease, well enough of this.

I hope you like this layout, Thanks for listening dont mean to give too much information but I thought I would explain why I chose to do this layout with this photo. Excuse where I messed up on my lace I noticed it was crooked, oh well nothing is perfect in scrapbooking. I guess it makes it a original.

LOVE YOUR PET BLOG HOP!

Hi Welcome to the Love Your Pet Blog Hop,
this great idea was from Abby @scrapbookaholic
She thought it would be a great idea for this hop. She thought it would be good idea to show support for the ASPCA and support Prevention of Cruelty to Animals this happens in the month of April. The ASPCA encourages people to go orange for animals.

In the blog hop the projects are pet related and must have orange in the project. My project I made is a birthday card for my sister, her birthday is next week. I also made a frame for her desk at work or home.

I like the picture frame but I feel like it did not come out the way I wanted it too. I remember my sister telling me when she saw Ozzy it was love at first sight,and he was her sunshine. I used My Creative Time stamp sets My Journalling, Turn That Frown Upside Down, You Had Me At Chocolate. I embossed the Journaling tag and cut it out by hand. I used Modge Podge for the paper on the frame and on the tag. I made her birthday card to go with the dog theme.

"Love Your Pet" Blog Hop
