Been encouraging my cg members to make blogs hehe

Oh wells.. today was such a long and tiring day... *sighs from exhaustion* Especially GP tutorials lah. I tell you my teacher is seriously inexperienced in English. He spelt really simple words like medicine and Egypt wrongly. What the hell, and the monotonous drone which he speaks in is enough to make me fall asleep lah. I really hope that we'll have a change in staff or else I'll be expecting very 'nice' grades for everyone in my class :)

Hmm... was like half chat half muggin for the rest of the day... seriously need to catch up on my work cause of all the slacking I did for 1st 2 months... haha. I'm such a slow worker. pooo

Oh yar before I forget, (bu yao lian eh-hem) Seng yong asked me to help advertise his new blog so yeah.. thats what I'm doing... haha Click here :P

We just recieved our timetable today so lessons officially begin tomorrow.. time to start mugging :) Its gonna be quite a transformation for me, from the complete lazy bum to the ol' hardworking whiz. So we'll all be needing to keep our strength up and be sure to encourage each other along the way 06S18... haha

Oh yes! To the main portion of the blog, the core events of the day. Well, it was completely pointless going to school today cause they were conducting a set of 'Sterling' talks which were utterly, totally, absolutely worthless and unnecessary. The only reason to go to school today is merely to collect the time-table during civics. Apart from that, the redundant talks were a complete waste of time. I don't think that anyone was paying any attention to the speaker's monotonous ramblings anyway. So the cg ponned the handphone talk to go study in the library, actually it was more like crapping in the library then studying cause we got nothing done at all... haha

After school, we went to Ruth's club to play pool cause we were in our school u, thinking that it was allowed and totally deluding ourselves in the process. Yep, when we went there, clad in our school uniforms, the irritating and unrelenting idiot of a lady in charge refused to grant us entry and refused no matter how much we begged, she just kept saying no. Grrr... and we went all the way there, and the lady totally doesn't give us any leeway. What the hell? Not empathising at all lah *grumbles*

At least Ruth's house was like a minute away so we went there instead of playing pool (like the lady gave us a choice anyway). We were being totally lame and watching Mr. Bean the cartoon, I admit that it was lame to the extent that it was really funny... haha. Then after that we went to have roti prata and eh-hem Rayson's recommendation right here!! The roti-prata stall opposite of Portchester Ave is really yummy lah, the one around Serangoon Gardens. Anyone who sees this should go try one day :) We all went our seperate ways from there cause Ruth had a dental appointment and some of the others had to attend CCAs.

As for my complete sense of accomlishment, I went to Seng Yong's house today after our cg's roti-prata gouging session and helped him with the html and layout of the blog and its looking really GREAT!! He's going to start it tomorrow so there shall be somewhat erm free advertisment over here?? haha

Haha... my cg is like spending a lot of time together these few days... Not saying that it isn't fun or anything.. just that whenever the bunch of us go out, it's a little tiring and whenever i go out i usually tend to just sit at a table over lunch and talk like a lot.. :P Very piggish right? Well i can't say I'm not... lol

Ever felt like you're getting to know a group of people but aren't exactly very close to them? I'm kinda feeling this way with my cg... yeah its like we're not very close or anything. Perhaps its just me or the short span of time we've spent around each other... Or maybe its just cause I'm really close to my secondary school friends... I dunno. So thats why its REALLY important to keep in touch with your old friends from primary and secondary school cause its usually them who will stick around through thick and thin :) Really treasure them as much as possible. Its never too late to give a phone call once in a while and sorta catch up on the present or share yours woes and worries. Yea... your old friends are immensely important. Yup yup :)

Moreover, I'm not really behaving the way which I used to behave in secondary school.. I was always more loud and funny, but recently it just seems that I'm withdrawn and passive... Its kinda sad really, that I'm not comfortable with expressing myself. Perhaps its autism? Or fear of rejection? I could think of a million and one reasons and not be able to put my finger on it. Well maybe this change could be for the better, or for the worse? It's just great that I'll be able to be myself when I'm around my old friends, thus stressing their importance!! I could never live without them... haha

Well enough of that, tomorrow, 2 groups of people want to come to my house so I'll have to ask one of them to come next week... Lol I think that I'll be needing to perk up my energy level like a whole lot and be able to entertain them..

Jia you!

Hey! Today was such a FUN day... haha. We were supposed to go out and have an og outing but we decided to cancel cause everyone was all ending at different times cause of talks and phototaking.

Got to know my cg members a little better today when we all gathered for photo-taking of the passport sized photos, like Jovena, Florence, Yu Wen, Ruth, Alfred and erm... one more girl but i forgot your name... lol sorry!!

So after the og outing was called off, the whole group of us went to PS cause Ruth needed to buy a present for one of her previous cg members. Then we bought tickets to watch Date Movie and for 7 bucks i tell you its really worth every penny. I tell you the show is like SO DAMN FUNNY LAH... I was practically laughing throughout the whole course of the show cause the actors and their actions were so friggin humourous!! Haha. I recommend all of you to go watch it cause I can guarantee a complete 1 and a half hours of non-stop entertainment and laughter :)

Then after that we went to go have waffles at Gelare cause its half-price tuesday and i ate it with delicious honey comb ice cream. Yummy. Everyone ate it like damn quickly lah.. haha. Oh yar, Kel helped us snap a picture of us after we pigged down the waffles.. lol

The whole bunch of them are really very friendly and I'm looking forward to spending the next 2 years with my classmates :)

Haven't been updating my blog in like forever haha... cause ever since the day 03 went to Colleen's house to you know... bond and catch up, I was seriously disfigured cause between my eyebrows got a nice red mark which JUST disappeared today... haha so i can finally go out (very vainpot right) yes i am :)

Anyways, like I promised a week beforehand, I followed Shirley to her church called erm... OMG I forgot?! o_o Well, the church is about the same size as the church which i used to attend but the youth seem friendlier and all... haha. The youth pastor was talking about The DaVinci Code but didn't really seem to go much into the details. Seriously got me interested in the content of the book so I'll probably get it sometime soon as well as watch the movie.

Throughout the course of the week, I have seriously done NO studying at all so I actually brought all my notes to the Church so i could go somewhere condusive to study afterwards which after some consideration, I decided would be TP Library, so i went there after church and GENIUS ME, with the intention of completing some tutorials & reading up on the Bio syllabus and try desperately to catch up on both secondary as well as the 1st 2 months worth of knowledge (KNOWLEDGE IS POWER!) :) Totally impossible i know.. haha. Well yes, the point is after i reached the library and sat down at a table to MUG for once in my life, I opened up my bag... peered inside...

And to my amazement, or perhaps horror, I was foolscapless, What an idiot. Yes, totally stupid.

So ya... came home liaos. And oh yes! I have a picture of the nice red spot on my head taken on the day i went to Colleen's house for cg gathering. Its seriously bad.. haha lookie. Go zoom in :P

ANYWAYS.. I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone in my cg tomorrow!! YES!

Today was the last day at orientation and it was truckloads of fun! We learnt Lindihop and revised the Chicken Dance and Cherri Cherri dance which was learnt yesterday (and i was absent for.. haha). Got Si Jie to dance as my Lindihop partner and I think we got to know each other a little better today. It's so sad however that she's leaving to go to ACJC and I heard that her appeal was successful so today may possibly be the last day that I'll be seeing her (so sad right? Aww...)

Anyways, after that we had CSI and after some 'honest' hints from the Tyleria (how do u spell this?) Tribal Leaders?? We managed to solve the murders successfully! And in the process, played an array of games, most of which we won and some of which we lost unfortunately ): However, as a whole it was really fun and i loved it!

As a finale, we all got into the groove and began running around while some cool music was playing. However, after running around with my og, i didn't really get into the whole jumping around groove... haha. So Si Jie and I went to go get some drinks in the cafe as the music blared in the background, trailing from the hall.

After that, we had our og dinner at Plaza Sing which most of us attended. Got to know my og members a little better, like Shirley, Ruth, Wan Yee, Xuan Feng, Jeremy, Sharon and her J2 friend, Victor. Chatted about all types of movies and churches, like City Harvest, New Creation and NFBC(??). Shirley invited me to go to her Baptist church which is opposite SAJC cause she says that the people there are very warm and that its a very comfortable place to go to... So I'm intending to try to go there next Sunday :)

Got no photos to post today cause Ruth has them all on her camera. Decided not to use N90 today cause of its redundance. I'll post some tomorrow when Ruth sends me the files... haha

Today is such a.... Shaggy Shagged Up Shaggidy Shagger Shag Shag Day!! LOL I can only imagine the complete state of shagginess that the whole of SA must have experienced after orientation today which however 'fun' it may have been, (depending on your intepretation of fun <_<) was completely exhausting and tiring and Shaggy!

I'm simply too tired to go into the details but here's a picture of my og for y'all to seee... OG33!! the smile in there is like totally fake F.Y.I. it should actually be more of a groggy, tired expression.. haha. I was considering ponning tomorrow but we have to hand in the subject combi form so yea... unponnable. Too bad Si Jie had to leave early, seems like a really nice girl, but she wants to appeal back into ACJC and go back through netball. Then after that i realised that i really didn't have much to speak to the rest of my og. Crappy... haha must learn to socialise more :)

Well I've chosen my subject combi to submit tomorrow... Bio, Chem, Math and H1 Econs. Hopefully i end up being posted into a hot new CG with really nice people like 06S03!! Gotta catch some shuteye cause I'm soooooo tired... need to conserve energy for tomorrow... haha

OMGOMGOMG.... cut my hair today as you can see. Damn punk right?? haha.. totally unlike me. Yoyo! hahahaha... very ego today cause everyone said that my hair looked very nice :) Anyways, although today was the 1st day of orientation, got to acquaint myself with a few nice people in my og (well they seem nice through 1st impression... haha), like si jie, mellissa, jeremy and a few others. Haha need to familarise myself with everyone's names. Well, on a whole seem like a nice bunch of people so I'll go socialise with them tomorrow..

But!! The question is... should i go to school tomorrow with my new hairstyle and flaunt my charming spike hair!! (so act shuai right... haha) Wah tomorrow is such a turnoff lah... school ends at like 7.30pm!! so damn late right, its gonna be a twelve hour day and I'm not sure if my stamina will be able to hold up. Must Jia You! Well gonna tell some people in the og about my blog tomorrow and take some photos with some of them and post them when i update tomorrow... Oh oh! before i forget, does anyone know what tomorrow's lunch is gonna be?? Heard its gonna be provided but as i quote from yong hui, who quotes Ms Ye saying:
"water and biscuits, exciting rite?" I don't think that its gonna be much of a fun experience... lol

Well, since we're looking forward to a loooooooong and arduous odyessy tomorrow, I'll be signing off and hope everyone enjoys their orientation in whatever JC you may be posted to

Oh just before i leave, here's something funny to look at, I was trying to take a photo of me posing for an advertisment... drinking mineral water(act celebrity) and the photo was taken too late and *click* A stupid photo is taken. Just a little visual humour for y'all to brighten your day. I think its SUPER funny!! Hahahaha

It just so happens that I went to church after like a 2 year absence and not just any ordinary church... but City Harvest. For those Christians reading this, you'll probably recognise this church cause its quite famous in the Church 'industries'... haha

Truth be told, its like no other church service i have ever been to before. Once you enter the stadium (omgawd, they have so many members that they hold their service in SINGAPORE EXPO to hold their IMMENSE number of church members... a couple thousand to be exact, heard they have 20,000 members. wow.... ), the speakers are blasting, the people are jumping, everyone's in a state of euphoria and excitement... the atmosphere is simply Amazing and it seemed as though i was participating in a concert or something. Though it was 'somewhat' enjoyable, I felt a little out of place as everyone was being so enthu for God and I was like just stoning there listening to the music and watching them dancing...

When they got to the sermon, Seng Yong started feeling unwell and was suffering from a headache of some sort as a result of the blasting music... poor thing ): seems like he wasn't used to the whole church environment as well... haha

Well after that, we went to have lunch and Jeremy was kinda displeased about our behaviour at church today. Apparently, we didn't accord him the due respect that we should have, as we weren't paying much attention to the pastor during the sermon. Okay... fine we're sorry lah... Cheer up kay? I'll certainly be more 'guai' the next time i go there...

Well after that we went to watch Big Mommas House 2... turns out that it was kinda funny but its not really fantastic (I wouldn't recommend it), definitely not worth the 9.50 i had to pay for it... lol. All of us were seriously damn drained so Seng Yong walked back and I cabbed back with Jeremy and we were talking about CJ and how he doesn't really feel he has a chance of getting into SA so if you're reading this I wanna tell you not to be discouraged and must Jia You! I'm sure you'll get in wan.. must pray more.. haha

Now that I'm home I just wanna give a shout out to my CG and my friends...I hope that all of u who are trying to appeal into SA manage to make it and for those who are going to other schools, whether to a more desirable position or to an undesirable position, I hope that you'll enjoy yourselves there and may the next 2 years of your life be filled with fun and excitement! :)

Hey kaypoh people... haha... just decided to create a new blog to pen down my thoughts for the world to see, somewhat like a diary to archive the story of my life for future reference :)

Well Anyway, its the last day of the 1st intake and everyone's very sad that some people have to leave the school. I suppose the entire school is engulfed in a whirlwind of emotions as different people get shuffled around through the MOE system. Many have wide smiles plastered on their faces, some seem to be depressed that their friends are leaving and some are extremely excited about getting into their dream school. Personally, i don't really seem very excited over staying in sajc, partially cause of the environment and partially cause i've always been dreaming about going to NJ since the middle of last year...

Perhaps it was meant to be... For reasons unknown...

In any case, I hope u enjoy the future entries about the chronicles of my life as I express my most deepest thoughts and opinions... haha

Still trying out how to make this stupid tagboard crap... *fumbles fumbles* grrrr... :P
