June Bugs 1st Birthday & Easter!

Abby's 1st birthday was too much fun!
She woke up from her nap about 10 minutes before the party started and the first thing she noticed was the rocking lady bug from her dad, sister and me. SHE LOVED IT!!!
Grandma Kel with her June Bug...
Me too!
Karly and Abby had a blast in the jumpy maze...
Abby could go through the whole thing by herself.
She had just way too much fun.
Adorable little tongue.
Mom and the big sister!
Pretty girl
We got all lady bugged out for the party...
... complete with Abby's own pet Lady bug balloon.
Her cousin Emmy came dressed to impress, little cutie!
We even had a live mascot make an appearance ;)
These two crack me up... so close in age, but COMPLETE opposites...
Emmy looks like she is thinking... "Why in the heck does she think this thing is so much fun?!?"
"Does anybody else agree with me that this girl is a little crazy?" Little cuties together... they are going to be best buds! (opposites do attract!!)
Having fun with her cousins Bella and Hailey.
Here is my silly cousin Tracy.
Did I mention we got way into the lady bug theme? Katie made these ADORABLE lady bug favors. Thanks so much Kate!
And I know it seems like I say this every time... but Kathie really made the best cakes I have ever tasted!!! Carrot cake cup cakes.... and an UNBELIEVABLY DELICIOUS chocolate cake! Thanks so much Kath.
There is that silly cousin again...
Cheesy family!
I made the sign all by me self this time :)
Leaf sugar cookies with lady bug melt aways a la Kathie :)
Happy Aunties.
The loving father.
Auntie Sue always cracking us up!
Us girls... we tried to get the kids in the picture with us, but they had no time for us!!
Our June bug!
Old fashioned bottled Coca-Cola just matched our red and black theme oh so well.
Love my happy little bug!
When it came time for gifts she thought standing on them was real fun.
My little darling!
A home made gift from my friend Sarah... so talented!!!
And bedding to match her sisters... those were just a few of the gifts she got from her loving family. Thank you to everyone!
She was so excited when it was time for cake...
"What? FOR ME?"
She was very dainty at first...
But had made her dent by the end... sister grubbin too!
YUM!
EWW!
Amy holding the beautiful Reese.
Emmy shows her teeth so well these days ;)
I also made the centerpeices ;)
Complete with lady bugs of course...
We also had a "drawing table" where everyone wrote a little note or picture to the birthday girl...
We had so much fun! I still can't believe Abby is already one... she is such a little joy! Happy Birthday my sweet little June bug!
The day after Abby's birthday... the girls woke up to thier Easter Baskets (my mom made these... aren't they adorable?!?)
We headed over to Tracy and Pats house for a delicious Easter lunch and Easter egg hunt (Thanks you so much for thier sweet treat buckets!)
The Trampoline is ALWAYS A HIT!
This is the first Easter in a while that it has been warm enough to go swimming... it was a beautiful day! Although we missed Uncle David and Aunt Kate (caught the stomach flu that night ;( I'm sorry guys... glad you are feeling better!
We did get a chance to paint some easter eggs with them a few days before the flu took over...
Dancing with Grandma.
I just love them.
Then into our comfy's when we got to Kathie's house to Easter egg hunt...
... loves her sister just slightly!
And her Auntie Shel.
Dan and Em.
My pretty little hygienist...
the Easter bunny brought them matching scrub sets with thier names on them :)
Karly won the first Easter game... Kathie caught the flu too ;( and Papa Rick made Easter dinner... YUM! Thank you all so much for a great Easter... sorry we had sicky's all around,
but happy to just be around family!
