SNOW DAY.... AWOOHOO!!!!

Friday morning we all woke up to an unusual site for Southern California... we are lucky if we get snow once a year here... and 2010 gave us a real treat! SNOW DAY... schools were cancelled and we all got to have a day of fun!!! (my blog is acting weird and won't let me see the pictures I post to write under them... so we will have to let these photos speak for themselves =) (videos at the end also... remember to turn of my music on the side if you want to hear them =) ...

Two Years!

On Tuesday January 5th, Ricky and I had been married for two years!

 

Since we both had to work that day, we decided we were going to celebrate on Saturday...

 

But I did have beautiful white roses waiting for me when I got home with a sweet card... I also got him a card, more funny than sweet =/

On Saturday I wanted to try dirtbike riding again... we rode out together on Ricky's 450 and then I had some time to practice. I have to say I am getting the hang of it! I do get the pleasure of learning from THE BEST :)... I am going to have to brag about my husband for a minute=) ... He is soooo talented on a dirtbike. Could be cause he has rode since he was three! But he honestly amazes me!

 

Then we went on a beautiful street bike ride out to dinner at PF Changs in the Desert!

 

We really had a great time! My mom, Katie, Amy and David watched Karly while we were gone... THANKS GUYS! By the end of the night we were really missing our little monkey... she will be riding with us sooner than we know!

 

This is the sticker on Ricky's street bike... thought it was appropriate to sum up our anniversary. I thank God on a daily basis for blessing me with such a caring husband and the BEST father to our Kalry girl. Like Ricky wrote on his card to me... Happy Anniversary and here's to MANY MORE! LOVE YOU SO MUCH BABE!

And... we have another big event on it's way... Our Karly girls BIRTHDAY!!! The invitations are out...

Cuz she's turning ONE!

This idea came from Katie... We are starting a College Trust for Karly (having my college debt now... I know Karly will thank us in the long run). We figure, a few gifts from us to open on her birthday will be plenty. We learned with Christmas, she kind of gets bored after the first gift =)

 

Still can't believe she is already gonna be ONE! Best year of our lives!!!

So... in the weeks before her birthday... we are in the norm of life...

She still runs around with her tongue out!

Can't believe it is 2010!!! Happy New Year to Everyone! After Christmas we took a day to go shopping. Amy got a gift card to Anthropologie... one of our favorite stores... so she was very excited to go use it.Amy messing around with my camera... good shot Amy!!!
