Karly's First Christmas!

We had such a great Christmas! Life is just so much better with kids!! I felt the anticipation for Christmas again this year, just like when I was a kid... here are some of our photos...The day before Christmas eve... all us girls got together and baked... we made cookies, lemon love notes, brownies, and Katie made her awesome pecan cheesecake pies!!! Karly enjoyed tasting all the sweets =)Karly bouncing on grandmas workout ball!!!Karly had the cutest outfit to wear on Christmas eve... a shirt that read "Best gift ever!" and it was all completed with a red scarf that my mom made for her... ADORABLE!!!Me and Kar relaxing before the night got started! Ready to go! Bella... looking cute as ever! Dad warming his baby girls feet up by the fire.Me, Amy and KarMe and beautiful mom! Don't even remember what we were laughing at?... but I thought it was a cute shot! Me... fighting with my husband to take a picture with me...Big TURD... They say opposites attract... we are definately opposite on the picture taking thing! This is the best we could get! Cheesy little ass :)Grandma giving her baby girl a special treat! Mom made a DELICIOUS dinner (as usual) ... and Copper was ready for his Christmas treat! Kar checking out the presents! We decided to make Christmas Eve night our pajama party night! We all bought eachother a set of pajamas... My mom got Karly the cutest little pajamas that had a buttflap that said "Karly's First Christmas"... We decided to get a shot with the flap down of course :)Mom, Dad and Baby"We are girls!!!"The Newlyweds! Mopsie and Bopsie :) Just kidding guys!!! My mom and Kate got Karly the cutest stocking! And Santa got Karly one of my favorite books that my mom used to read to me... LOVE YOU FOREVER!

The whole Christmas set-up... Karly got a new recliner (Santa did awesome on matching it to our couch... pretty good) and he did not forget the dogs either! Even Ricky got a little something too! Karly got right down to check out this new seat! "Pretty nice!" She also got a new Elmo cell phone... which she LOVES!!! The pjs my mom got her were soooo cute!

This was Ricky's gift to me! (Nice wrapping honey! =) He did so good this year... this was a new dustbuster I had been asking for! And he also got me a new mountain bike complete with a front seat for Kar... I LOVE IT... we do a lot of riding and I was Sooooo EXCITED! Karly loves it... I will post more pictures of us riding with the next post :) THANKS BABE.... LOVE U! Karly had fun opening her gifts! Then it was over to the Lee house for the best breakfast ever! Tamales, eggs, beans, bacon.... oh yum! Auntie Michelle loving on Karly! As you can see... these pjs look a lot like the ones she was wearing before :/... Looks like we have two awesome Grandmas.... with very similar taste :) It turned out fine, she just wore one set Christmas night and one set Christmas morning... haha... PERFECT!

THANK YOU SO MUCH! This one is a book my mom got her... I had asked for a book of Bible stories to read to Karly, and she found one! I love it! My mom is the person who taught me about faith and the Lord... I pray that I can instill that same faith in my baby girl! Just 'laxin with grandma! Giving kisses to the sock monkey my mom got her!

Mom and Kate And the days after Christmas have been a blast! Kar loves her new chair... she sits in it with her computer (Grandma Kathie got her) and has a blast! Our little cutie!

We truly had a great Christmas! Merry Christmas to everyone that we were unable to see this year! We love you and miss you!

Christmas is ALMOST HERE =D

The past few weeks have been eventfull... first...We went over to Nanas to make tamales... I was glad I FINALLY got to help for a bit this year! Kar was glad Auntie Kellie was there with her phone so she could get down :)Then... we had Todds 30th Birthday party on a yacht that cruised Newport Harbor! (Karly and Grandma... all Bundled)Mom, Amy and SarahMy cheesy husband and baby girl! B.F.F.A.E.A.E :) We had a lot of fun... thanks so much Amy Nermn for the invite... Wish I could have got a picture of Todd that night, but I think that he was Rodd from the second he stepped onto the boat (that is what Amy calls Todd when he is drunk :) Let's just say... I think he enjoyed his birthday weekend ;)Then, we had Kellie's Birthday... Karly was doing the one leg bounce sitting on Auntie Kellies lap... she just has to move when she hears music (definately gets this from her MOM, Ricky is NOT a dancing fool =)Grandma Kathie got some cuddle time in!
Kissing cousins.... AWWWWW!We also went to a Christmas breakfast Dr. Borovac held for our office! Kar was ALL SMILES! I really work for the sweetest doctor ever!!! And with the most awesome staff! Dr. Borovac and his wife got this sweet little christmas doll for Karly and a first christmas ornament for our tree too.... THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!
