Some things never change

Dustin and I went to the BYU game last Saturday, it was really nice to get away for an afternoon. So I sat next to dad and I realized that some things never change. I remember going to games with dad and Jeff when I was younger. And it was the same back then, dad with his headphones on and binoculars up. Once this guy in front of us turned around and said to Jeff, "please don't kick me anymore." He was probably only 6 or 7 at the time. I don't think Jeff or I moved much the rest of that game. Then, with 5 minutes left in the game we would leave our seats and walk slowly down the stairs and slowly to the exits, stopping to watch every play. So, even before I married Dustin I was a BYU football fan. In 2nd grade our class wrote letters to try to get Steve Young the Heisman trophy. Then he and Gordon Hudson came to our class and threw footballs around with us, (I still have my little football with their signatures.) I also had posters up in my room of Cougar stadium and various football players. I guess it was just fate for Dustin and I to get married, I don't know what I would have done if he was a fan of the school up north...

Growing Pains?

Lately Chloe has been waking up at night crying because her leg hurts. I'm hoping that it is just growing pains. Has anyone else experienced this? Also if you haven't seen it yet here is the link to Archie's new video. I'm hoping that one of my nieces will marry him someday. Dani? Jen?

After months of searching and trying to fix my comment problem, I have finally figured out how to put my comments back on the main page!! I had to play around in my html codes, what a joke! But, I am excited to have them back.

BYU Fever

BYU fever is catching on! Katelyn and Dustin had a blast watching BYU stomp on UCLA. It's great to see such a fanbase for the Cougars. Of course people get excited when they are winning, but I know fans that stick through it with them through thick and thin! Dustin and Dad have been there even in tough times. Like during the Crowton years at games when it was snowing a blizzard and BYU was losing by many many points. I remember Dustin saying to everyone "just wait, BYU will be back." He never lost faith in them. Boy, where were all the fans then? They weren't at LaVell Edwards stadium I know that. But, now it's great to see excitement again. Let's cheer for the Cougars to go undefeated and end up in the top 3!

Chloe goes to pre-school

It's been quite the week around here. Chloe started pre-school last week, which has been so good for her and for me. Kourtney started throwing up over the weekend and didn't stop. She is doing better now, but she almost had to be admitted for IV fluids. (SCARY)! She probably put something in her mouth that she wasn't supposed to. As you can see in the picture above, she will put anything in her mouth. Most of the time she thinks that it is funny. Chase saw the urologist last week and he didn't have all of the "problems" that the pediatrician thought he had so he is just having a circumcision in Nov. School is in full swing now, it is nice to have the schedule back, and a little quiet time as well. :)

Countdown to Babies B-Day

We are starting to countdown to the babies 1st b-day. Here are some pics of me last summer. The first one is in June, then August and then October. I didn't think that I could get any bigger! Anyway, have you guys heard that the Half-Blood Prince is not coming out until July!? I guess Harry Potter hasn't made WB rich enough yet, they need to capitalize on the summer movie season right? We didn't do much on Labor Day, it was too cold! We cleaned the house and played the Wii up at Dustin's parents, which was fun. It was nice just to have nothing to do.
Chase has hit some milestones which are probably no big deal with other babies, but to him they are a big deal! He started crawling on his knees more, he is getting a top tooth (which we weren't even sure he had) and he said mama which is a huge deal for him. Ever since he had his surgery his speech has improved so much. He babbles alot more and has much better balance. He is now more than 6 times his birth weight and double in length. Tomorrow we go see a urologist for a couple of things he has to have fixed. He will most likely have surgery before the year is out. Kourtney is quite the character. She might give Chloe a run for her money. Dustin swears that Kourtney said "football" the other day! Dustin took Chance to the BYU game last week and had a great time. Chloe starts pre-school tomorrow, yeahhhhh! She really needs something to do. And Katelyn is just being sweet Katelyn....
