Last week there was a letter to the editor about the BYU football team in The Daily Herald that I didn't agree with. Here is a link to that letter:

Happy Birthday Dustin!
Katelyn said: "What I love best about my dad is that he can get me to smile anytime. All he has to do is look at me and I smile." She loves to go 4-wheelin and camping with him. She wishes him a happy birthday and hopes that he has a great day!
Chance said: He loves to go camping with dad and says Happy Birthday.
Chloe said: She loves to go on bike rides with dad and Happy Birthday.
Kourtney said: I love how he rocks me to sleep, and how he makes me laugh.
Chase said: I remember my dad holding me for hours every night so that I could grow big.
Happy Birthday Dust- we love you!!

Our weekend
Last week we decided to stay overnight in Salt Lake. Chase had some appts. at Primary's and we had Lagoon the next day, so we made a weekend out of it. After Chase's appt we went to Chuck-A-Rama (we figured it was the most kid friendly sit down restaurant). It is the first time all 7 of us have been out. It wasn't too bad, but you should have seen the floor where the babies were eating! We checked into our hotel in N. Salt Lake and I could have sworn we were in Europe. Everyone was Eurpoean! It was funny to watch them stare at us with our 5 kids. We let the kids swim for awhile, and then we took them to see the state capitol. It was really neat because it was after hours and we were the only ones in the whole building. After that we went back to the hotel and watched Kung Fu Panda and went to bed. The next morning we went to Lagoon-A-Beach, it was pretty cold. The babies and I didn't swim, but still had fun watching. Dustin and the kids had a blast. We headed over to Rattlesnake Rapids after that and got completely soaked! Dustin finally won a prize at the Nature's Sunshine dinner ($50 to Tucano's). His mom also won a prize, I guess it was our lucky year. I' ve added a new feature on the right called "Chloeisms". I don't know where she comes up with the things she does, but I figured I needed to write them down. Someday she'll laugh, and maybe we will be able to also by then.

Summer Fun
Chase has been doing well since the surgery two weeks ago. He was actually able to eat a few things without sneezing it out of his nose or choking on it.. which is very nice. By the way, we would like to thank everyone for their prayers and support during the last 2 weeks. We are very grateful for good family and friends. As far as the rest of the clan goes, Kourtney is getting bigger by the day ( her last weight was 21 lb. 12 oz. ) and more fun by the day. The older kids are having fun at swimming lessons and just enjoying summer.. Dustin and I are just trying to take it all in and remember all the good moments. I have been reading Breaking Dawn and I think it is the weakest book in the series. Bells and Ed drive me insane! There are some exciting moments and some surprises, but I was not as impressed with this one. And for some reason I can't get comments posted on my blog, but I have found if you click on the title of the post it links you to where you can leave a comment.
