In a Jam

So we (Amy, Briana, and I) have been getting excited about canning this year. I told everyone to be on the look out for raspberries at a good price so we could make jam for everyone. I was at Costco and saw raspberries for a great price. I bought 6 cases and took them home. Called Amy and Briana and said we're making jam tonight. Amy came with Lucy, then Briana came after school. We had the Bachelorette on while we were making the jam. We made a lot of jam! It was fun to have help and have a girls night watching the Bachelorette and being "homemakers."

It's about time

So, it's been a while since I have posted. I don't know how to add pictures yet so that's why I haven't posted. Pictures make it more interesting, but oh well, you'll just have to listen to me ramble. I am a new grandma. Amy and Daniel have a beautiful baby girl named Lucy. I love that name because I had an Aunt Lucy who I loved. Lucy is getting bigger and bigger and is so cute. It is really nice to have them close so I can hold her a lot. I am excited for Ben and Laura to have their baby Grace soon too. I love the name Grace too, because that was my mom's name, who I loved. It will be interesting to see how Ally and James like their new little sister. It's all about family!!!

Go Utes!!!

I am so proud of our Utes! They did awesome in the Sugar Bowl. I don't think I knew how good they would be. I knew the defense could hold Alabama, but I didn't know the offense could be so quick in scoring, and keep scoring. Way to go Utes! Can't wait til next season. I so wish I could have been there. I was glad Ben got to go with his friend James(Andy).
