It has been a while, i know.. Just felt like posting up something, heh.
My 20th Birthday celebration :) All the way in Egypt. Far away from my family, my usual friends. How i miss them so much :(

No, i'm not done with my finals. 1 more paper (Histology) and 2 Aural tests (Anatomy & Histology) left. It sucks when you have to revise the questions you did in your written exam in order for you to prepare yourself for Aural Test the day after. I did my Anatomy paper so badly just now. That's why i'm here, heh.
Please oh please, i don't want a 'dur' or any repeat paper. I wanna go home, so badly. I miss Malaysia :(
Results will be out only on the 15th of July. Meaning, i'll be back only after i receive my results. Provided i pass all my papers.. Guess what, all the flights are fully booked till August. Believe it? No worries, I'll find my own way home tho. Might be going to Istanbul to catch a flight from there back to KL! Ain't that great? Yay!
I would never imagined myself living in a desert. But oh well, guess i have to bear with it for the next 5 years? It's 44 degree Celcius outside. Oh, I hate summer so much :(

Week.
Forget bad day. Try bad week. Why?
I woke up on the wrong side of the bad day today. I took about 10 minutes to put on my tudung today. I've been late for practically the whole week. I've been skipping classes. I've been a hypocrite. I received a bad news. I spent more than EGP200 last week. I ate a lot lately. I was told that my aural test for Physiology will be on this coming Tuesday. I'm starting to feel very uncomfortable with certain someone.

How was YOUR week?
When I still had school, I would rush to get ready by about 7:00 am. Now that school's out, i had to do the same thing too. Why? Mainly because my classes starts at 8 EVERYDAY and it takes about half an hour walk to reach my University. Can you imagine how far it is? It's unusual for me to walk that far, mind you.
I used to think I lead a relatively simple life. I used to think I haven't changed so much compared to my old self, on the contrary of what people have been telling me. Sigh.
I guess I was wrong.
I realized that i have not been talking that much anymore. I wonder why.
This song is currently stuck in my head.

Pelajar Perubatan Maut Jatuh Bangunan.
Iskandariah 12 Mac – Seorang pelajar Malaysia dipercayai jatuh daripada tingkat empat sebuah bangunan apartment malam tadi. Mangsa merupakan pelajar jurusan perubatan Tanta dikatakan datang ke Iskandariah untuk tujuan ziarah. Pegawai MARA dan JPMK bergegas ke tempat kejadian setelah dihubungi. Pihak berkuasa Mesir sedang menjalankan siasatan dan punca sebenar kejadian masih belum diketahui. Saksi kini sedang berada di balai polis untuk memberikan keterangan.
Update: Mangsa yang dikenali sebagai Ahmad Sarhan Bin Ahmad Khan disahkan meninggal dunia di tempat kejadian setelah jatuh daripada tingkat empat. Jenazahnya ditempatkan di Mustashfa Mashrahah (Hospital Mashrahah). Ahmad Sarhan merupakan pelajar tahun satu jurusan perubatan Univeriti Tanta. Pihak kedutaan sedang menguruskan urusan penyempurnaan jenazah mangsa.
Saksi-saksi kejadian kini berada di balai polis untuk membantu siasatan. Turut hadir di balai polis malam tadi; Ustazah Nor Zakiah dan Ust. Sukimi, Pegawai JPMK Iskandariah dan Tuan Haji Idris, Pegawai MARA Iskandariah, Ustaz Fairuz Tamjis, Ustaz Khairul Nizam dan beberapa orang wakil PCI; Saudara Abdul Rahim Suhaini, Muhammad Hafidzuddin Abd Razak, Qamarul Azwan Kamaluzaman dan Muhammad Hafiz Zaini. Pengerusi PERUBATAN Tanta, Saudara Azhan dan Ustaz Muiz, Presiden PMRAM sedang dalam perjalanan ke Iskandariah.
Pihak PCI merakamkan ucapan takziah kepada keluarga Ahmad Sarhan Bin Ahmad Khan atas ujian yang dihadapi. Semoga roh allahyarham Ahmad Sarhan ditempatkan bersama-sama golongan yang beriman. -mediaPERUBATAN

'Whatever' Tops List of Most Annoying Words.
Oct. 8, 2009 -- So, you know, it is what it is, but Americans are totally annoyed by the use of "whatever" in conversations.
The popular slacker term of indifference was found "most annoying in conversation" by 47 percent of Americans surveyed in a Marist College poll released Wednesday.
"Whatever" easily beat out "you know," which especially grated a quarter of respondents. The other annoying contenders were "anyway" (at 7 percent), "it is what it is" (11 percent) and "at the end of the day" (2 percent).
"Whatever" -- pronounced "WHAT'-ehv-errr" when exasperated -- is an expression with staying power. Immortalized in song by Nirvana ("oh well, whatever, nevermind") in 1991, popularized by the Valley girls in "Clueless" later that decade, it is still commonly used, often by younger people.
It can be an all-purpose argument-ender or a signal of apathy. And it can really be annoying. The poll found "whatever" to be consistently disliked by Americans regardless of their race, gender, age, income or where they live.
"It doesn't surprise me because 'whatever' is in a special class, probably," said Michael Adams, author of "Slang: The People's Poetry" and an associate professor of English at Indiana University. "It's a word that -- and it depends how a speaker uses it -- can suggest dismissiveness."
Adams, who was not involved in the poll and is not annoyed by "whatever," points out that its use is not always negative. It also can be used in place of other, neutral phrases that have fallen out of favor, like "six of one, half dozen of the other," he said.
But the negative connotation might explain why "whatever" was judged more annoying than the ever-popular "you know," which was recently given a public workout by Caroline Kennedy during her flirtation with the New York U.S. Senate seat vacated by Hillary Rodham Clinton. "You know," Adams notes, is a way for speakers to seek assent from others.
