Hey!So yeah..just came back from school and luckily i reached home before the rain gets heavier. ahah!! erm...im just a little wet actually. better right or else im drenched!haha!Oh well, looking at my planner, all i can see are actually my UTs. i hate it totally. adding on, its like from Problem 1 - Problem 10. how worse can that be??!! compare to last year it is only until problem 9. suck balls la..like wat Val usually said. oh gosh! she is really influencing me! bad Valerie. haha!Erm..more updates more updates..ouh ya! im going to get a new laptop sleeve and a converse high-cut sneakerssss!! omg! really cant wait to get my hands on it..it really feels good. and and! i saw a girl today like wearing a Dr. Martins or watever the spelling is in school. super awesome! "Hey mum, can i get high cut sneakers and Dr Martins boots from you???"(^_^) haha! Okay la! maybe not to many to ask from you..just a sneakers will do for now..im dying for it!!damn it!right now, at this moment, my tummy hurts alot. argh pain! guess why?? haha! i actually mixed Apple Sparkling with Peach Tea! stupid rite..i thought i was actually the same drink so i mixed it when it is actually not! screw me! haha!Time passes really fast and im left with only 5 weeks with my fella classmates. omg! im really gonna miss them ttm..they are simply awesome people..hmm..yeah.so bonded la us.haha!Oraite people, i need to stop here. need to do my rj and val is making it sound like its so tough..oh no!toodles!Lots of love,Afiqah

Helloo!!Oh well, yesterday I had a great time at Wei Liang's 21st Birthday @ Coasta Sand Sentosa. Haha!! An AWESOME night I must say. Right Val??!! hhaah! she was as crazy as me last night. haha!!So I met up with Val yesterday at Outram Park Station and went straight down to Vivo to get Wei Liang his birthday card. We bought a card together with a box to put his birthday gifts inside it!!its just perfect. Each one of us wrote a birthday wish for him in the card. However, since CK cant meet us, Val help him to write his bday wish. After all the decorating and stuff, we took the Sky Train to Sentosa. haha! i didnt know that now we can actually use Ez-link card to enter the Sky Train which means that we do not need to purchase the entrance card. haha!!I told Val that people kept looking at me while im otw here cos i wore something like the 80s. High waisted pants, ribbon clipand like some sleeveless-loose top and a shoe. I suggested Val to also bun up her hair and put a ribbon like me but she dont want to. nah..its okay la Val.So information was given to us saying that we should alight at Imbiah Station. However, when we asked the staff there, they said, its better to alight at Beach Station rather than Imbiah Station cos the walking distance is shorter. Oh well, haha!! I leaded the way to the chalet and we actually went up and down the stairs towards the chalet TWICE!!haha!! thanks Val! cos she thought that there are another entrance ahead when there isnt any as we actually need a card to enter. So we actually saw a girl who also went up the stairs and she just press this button and the door is open. haha!!! how easy can that be right??haha!!Lesden was already there when we arrived together with his friend, Jing Xin(is that the correct spelling??)I passed Wei Liang his bday gift and said that it was from me, Val and CK. haha!! Val and I didnt eat much there coz we were buzy spamming the camera and talking. Hellven introduce us to other RP student and said to them dat i was from Cambodia. lolsss!! so mean. and Jing Xin thought that i was a Chinese but those tan-like Chinese. haha!! its a compliment they said. oh well.It was time to sing a bday song for Wei Liang and CK reached there just in time!! hah!! HE LOOK SUPER CUTE LA!!!!with the big specs,cap,checkered shirt and jeans. seriously cute. We sang both English and Chinese bday song and guess wat??!! WEI LIANG WAS THROWN IN THE SWIMMING POOL!!! HAHA!! really awesome ar! and, and!! the birthday was delicious. seriously.Wei Liang thanks me and Val for coming. He thought that i will not come because Sab didnt go and i will also follow her not to come. WHy would he think of dat???!!! WEI LIANG!! im not dat kind la..get that thinking off ur mind okay!! haha!!Time passed really fast yesterday and Val, Lesden n I had to make a move or else we cant catch the train. Hugged him really tight and took photo with him. Val and I kissed him on the cheeks and off we went. It was nice of Hellven, Jing Xin and CK to sent me, Val and Lesden out until Starbucks. Along the way, i was SUPER high. ouh! Val too!! and i was con by both Hellven n Jing Xin. so sad! well, hellven said to me dat Jing Xin is from Korea and i totally believed it!! wa lao eh!! and surprisingly, he know most of my secondary school friends!! wat a small world man! haha!!! i had a great time with all the people there and im happy cos i made alot of new friends yesterday though i can count it using my finger. haha!! bid our goodbyes to them and home sweet home!!Luckily there is still bus at the interchange for me to take.phew! slept around 1an yesterday and woke up exactly at noon today! haha!! okay. dats all for now.toodles!lots of love,AfiqahLabels: Wei Liang's 21st Birthday Party

Hello,Oh well, blog again. nothing much to blog actually cos not much things had happened. Hmm..Well, recently i had a family outing to City Hall. We had our dinner at Popeyes and from my Dad's comment, he doesn't seem to like it. As for my mum, she said its like KFC. haha!! ouh! btw, Sunday was my Mum birthday..so yeah..My sister paid everything for the dinner. After which, we headed to the Singapore Flyer which is the second surprise for my parents. This time round, all of us fork out our money and divide the total amount within ourselves. Haha! We enjoyed taking the flyer.Fraankly speaking, it wasn't as boring as wat others told me. Snap a lot of pictures and 1 by 1, our camera battery flat. haha!! 30mins ride of the flyer is super fun! perhaps that was the first and last time of me riding on the flyer unless someone is willing to pay for my ride..haha! jk! my future boyfriend perhaps??haha!My parents, sister n i went straight down to SGH straight away cos my sister had jaw dislocation. again. for the 3rd time. haha! and my dad kept on making her laugh when hes not suppose to do that as it will make the pain that my sis is having more worst. hospital fee was like 90bucks!! freaking expensive. i know rite.don't even think of mentioning it.Recent updates..hmm..err..watched Karate Kid like TWICE and just today afternoon, my aunt asked me if i want to watch Karate Kid. haha!! if i were to watch it again just now, it will be my 3rd time!! simply ridiculous la!! n i didn't know that Jayden Smith is wearing braces. haha!! shocked. oh well..oraites, much bout updates. tmr meeting! darns! n going to shop for my guyfriend present! haha! tagging along: my HOT C.K and my most DEARY Valerie!! arghh!! i just didnt see her like at night n i miss her..! damn it..haha..like lesbian but im not. haha!!toodles!!lots of love,AfiqahLabels: family-day-out

Hey.I went to school today in the morning around 8am! I know right!! Its Saturday. What could have been more fun than spending a Saturday morning waking up late and having a breakfast while watching cartoons in the morning??! haha!!However, i got no choice. I have to attend my school programme SOH Team Building. well, basically, this programme helps every SOH student in knowing each other more better. It comes handy after Semester 1 where we are actually split up into our own course. At least we get to the person abit better. SiYun, Claire and I were quite early today. We reached 10mins before the programme start. And guess wat, Khairul was there. wondering who's Khairul right. haha! well, they said that me and khairul got lots of simalarities. Both of us are picky and hate vegetables. then comes SiYun, saying " Cheh! Khairul seh...bla..bla..bla.."! wah!! really embarrassing. So, we register ourselves and went into the lecture theater.All of us were divided into groups and i am in the same team as SiYun! yeah!! haha..we played lots of team building games well, u guys know right it helps to build friendship..so yeah..the first few hours was okay. It only became boring after lunch time because we actually do nothing and the games played were rather boring to me. But it changes again at the few hours when we played this game(which im not sure what is it called). And its very funny cos SiYun and I were damn happy to win the game that we actually have to do forfeit instead of the "losers". Funny isn't it??All of us were released around 5pm and i slept in the train. Super Sleepy!even now im feeling sleepy just that i have to finish up my post. So yeah. enjoyable day today! Well, its 12.05AM right now!!

Cambodia Trip '10

Hello!!!
Im finally back to Singapore, my country! After 10 days 9 nights in Cambodia- Siem Reap, im finally back. haha!! Briefly, the trip was SUPER AWESOME. I guess it will took me a few days to complete this post. hahah! there are lots to share about. Seriously.
My mum sent me to the Changi Airport and afterwards, she went straight to work. I met the rest at T1 counter 13; if im not wrong. haha! so valerie, my bestfriend came after 10mins. Frankly speaking, awkwardness was all i felt when i was with the rest of the group members. Some were Year 2 n 3. Since, im just Year 1,i dont really know them. I just smile at them while waiting for Valerie to come. I say it again, awkward!!
I started to talk with the rest after we checked in our luggage. Haha! i still remember the first one i made was Claire and Si Yun. Haha!! Though i have trouble remembering their names(coz they look quite alike), they are those who are easily approachable kind of person. So we actually chatted. After checking in, me and val roamed around the Departure centre whilst waiting for us to board the aeroplane.

We need to transit flight at Vietnam then we reach Siem Reap. haha! we arrived at our lodging place at night around 7pm+. Dinner was served by the host and all of us were allocated to our sleeping area. The house that we stayed wasnt too bad except that there were lots of flies, crickets, bed bugs and other kind of insets. It was the first night that i made friends with Sabriya, Hellven, Wei Liang, Xue Li, Wei Li and Lesden. The rest was during the our waiting time at the transit airport. haha! they were fun to be with. i love them so much!they are crazy people the more u know them..always talk nonsensical stuff!! haha! thats what i lke about them cos i also sometimes talk nonsense stuff..haha!
3rd June 2010
It was the very first day of our construction. Tiring yet fun. The guys have to dig 2m deep for the toilet where all the shits are stored i guess. Haha. The girls carried bricks. Haha! The sun was freaking hot. Blister occured at some of our hands coz we didnt wear gloves until the 3rd or 4th day. Lunch was sent to our construction site and it was bloody nice. haha!! some can actually afford a second serving. Hellven and Wei Liang played with the kids there. The kids came to our construction site almost everyday and they will always play with them. hhaah!! cute rite! Hellven and Wei Liang are like " fathers" to them alr.
4th June 2010
Went to visit a nearby school. Only some of us coz the rest cont doing all the digging job. We taught them English. Some of the kids were actually outside looking at what we teached in the class coz they actaully cant afford to pay the fees. However, the kids in the class were really damn cute!!! They copied everything that we wrote on the chalkboard although it was repeated stuff. haha!! but of course we tell their teacher to tell them not to copy the same thing.haha. after a visit to the sch, we went back to the construction side and cont digging. haha!! We created some sort of 3 couples. haha!!! just for fun. The 3 are Valerie & Lesden ; Sabriya & Hellven ; Afiqah & Wei Liang. haha!!! super funny.

So ya..a visit to this like weaving and pottery place. Well..the things there are so expensive so i didnt buy anything actually. However, before this, we went to visit a house of local Cambodian people who actually make basket for living. We ordered a huge quantity including me but its nice. After the visit, we went to a ruin temple. It was beautiful yet dangerous. But we managed to snap some pics.haha!!When we reached the temple, it was freaking hot and i cant really stand the heat when i actually hid behind stone. haha. and..the tour guide kept on talking which i felt irritating though i know it is his job.haha!

Haha!! yes! it is one of the 7 Wonders of the World. WOOHOO! Set off from the house around 3am. Initially wanted to see the sunrise but i guess luck was not on our side during that day. The sunrise is just a normal one. Not so beautiful as what the tour guide actually said. Bought a can of drink for 1USD and we got a chair to sit on. haha! Well, some caucasians were seen in the pic. Haha! they are not together with us dont worry!! they are just some random tourist too. hah!! the one wearing yellow shirt as well as the one beside val is SUPER HOT! seriously! haha!! after that visit the Temple of Thom where the movie Tomb Raider was filmed. haha! nice. Enjoy myself during that day despite the hot weather. haha!! Went for dinner at Lucky Burger. Some sort of fastfood restaurant. I ate Chicken Burger which cost me 1.50USD without drinks and fries. haha!! quite expensive ar..haha!! but im hungry! who cares!! hahha!!

Well, the picture above are some of of our progresss of the toilet and the well. hahaha!!although the experts had taken over our task cos they are more professional compare to us, we have no choice but to continue digging and level up the soil. haha! so mostly our task there is to dig holes. haa!! but it was fun.

On the 1oth, it was the last day that we spent with the people in Cambodia. Super sad moment! NOt alll of us manage to go to our construction site cos 7 of us were sick. We played a game called " Bacteria" trust me, the kids there run super fast like a cheetah. im exhausted. hhaha.the rest too actually. Performances held by the students there as well as ours. and lastly the opening of the well and the toilet. haha!! nice!! i love that moment. Bid our goodbyes to the people in Ballang. tears start to roll down but we held it. On the 11th, those who were sick felt much better. Cant actually wait to step down to our land, Singapore, though our heart is still in Cambodia. Towards landing to Singapore, some of us sang national day song, " Where I belong " haha!! so cute.
Wei Liang's sister fetched us and they went to park their car first. So left me and Hellven and we're lost searching for Popeyes. haha! but somehow managed to find it. Wei Liang, her sister, me, Hellven, CK and Fabian has our dinner at Popeyes.Unfortunately, all of us cant managed to finish it up. i gave CK my share cos he want to pack it home.. After dat, went back home with Wei Liang, his sister and Hellven. haha!! his sister actaully drive me and Hellven home..thanks dearies.
Enjoyable trip! photo more on fb.haha! Though there were some moments that i do not have the chance to interact more with our group members, i still find that we are the best.Hopefully, i can know them more as my friend and im like so interested la!! Also, there were some moments that miscommunication between me and other occured ( only some knows about it)m we managed to settle it there. haha!! well, nice meeting u people n talk often yeah..

After a trip to school, going to meet liana at JP. she wants to buy something at Cotton On. Argh..shes tempting me to buy the clothes there and i have to resist it! okay!!im saving my money la...
Next, i need to change my money to US currency. Yesterday my aunt is so kind to me dat she gave me $45 USD hhahaa!! and some cambodian money! yeah!! im gonna shop till i drop'! haha! also i have yet to buy my stuff to bring there..toiletries, undergarments...bla..bla..bla..so going to buy that later with my mum i guess.haha.

So, we register ourselves and went into the lecture theater.All of us were divided into groups and i am in the same team as SiYun! yeah!! haha..we played lots of team building games well, u guys know right it helps to build friendship..so yeah..the first few hours was okay. It only became boring after lunch time because we actually do nothing and the games played were rather boring to me. But it changes again at the few hours when we played this game(which im not sure what is it called). And its very funny cos SiYun and I were damn happy to win the game that we actually have to do forfeit instead of the "losers". Funny isn't it??All of us were released around 5pm and i slept in the train. Super Sleepy!even now im feeling sleepy just that i have to finish up my post. So yeah. enjoyable day today! Well, its 12.05AM right now!!

Cambodia Trip '10

Hello!!!
Im finally back to Singapore, my country! After 10 days 9 nights in Cambodia- Siem Reap, im finally back. haha!! Briefly, the trip was SUPER AWESOME. I guess it will took me a few days to complete this post. hahah! there are lots to share about. Seriously.
My mum sent me to the Changi Airport and afterwards, she went straight to work. I met the rest at T1 counter 13; if im not wrong. haha! so valerie, my bestfriend came after 10mins. Frankly speaking, awkwardness was all i felt when i was with the rest of the group members. Some were Year 2 n 3. Since, im just Year 1,i dont really know them. I just smile at them while waiting for Valerie to come. I say it again, awkward!!
I started to talk with the rest after we checked in our luggage. Haha! i still remember the first one i made was Claire and Si Yun. Haha!! Though i have trouble remembering their names(coz they look quite alike), they are those who are easily approachable kind of person. So we actually chatted. After checking in, me and val roamed around the Departure centre whilst waiting for us to board the aeroplane.

Vietnam Airlines
We need to transit flight at Vietnam then we reach Siem Reap. haha! we arrived at our lodging place at night around 7pm+. Dinner was served by the host and all of us were allocated to our sleeping area. The house that we stayed wasnt too bad except that there were lots of flies, crickets, bed bugs and other kind of insets. It was the first night that i made friends with Sabriya, Hellven, Wei Liang, Xue Li, Wei Li and Lesden. The rest was during the our waiting time at the transit airport. haha! they were fun to be with. i love them so much!they are crazy people the more u know them..always talk nonsensical stuff!! haha! thats what i lke about them cos i also sometimes talk nonsense stuff..haha!

It was the very first day of our construction. Tiring yet fun. The guys have to dig 2m deep for the toilet where all the shits are stored i guess. Haha. The girls carried bricks. Haha! The sun was freaking hot. Blister occured at some of our hands coz we didnt wear gloves until the 3rd or 4th day. Lunch was sent to our construction site and it was bloody nice. haha!! some can actually afford a second serving. Hellven and Wei Liang played with the kids there. The kids came to our construction site almost everyday and they will always play with them. hhaah!! cute rite! Hellven and Wei Liang are like " fathers" to them alr.

Went to visit a nearby school. Only some of us coz the rest cont doing all the digging job. We taught them English. Some of the kids were actually outside looking at what we teached in the class coz they actaully cant afford to pay the fees. However, the kids in the class were really damn cute!!! They copied everything that we wrote on the chalkboard although it was repeated stuff. haha!! but of course we tell their teacher to tell them not to copy the same thing.haha. after a visit to the sch, we went back to the construction side and cont digging. haha!! We created some sort of 3 couples. haha!!! just for fun. The 3 are Valerie & Lesden ; Sabriya & Hellven ; Afiqah & Wei Liang. haha!!! super funny.

So ya..a visit to this like weaving and pottery place. Well..the things there are so expensive so i didnt buy anything actually. However, before this, we went to visit a house of local Cambodian people who actually make basket for living. We ordered a huge quantity including me but its nice. After the visit, we went to a ruin temple. It was beautiful yet dangerous. But we managed to snap some pics.haha!!When we reached the temple, it was freaking hot and i cant really stand the heat when i actually hid behind stone. haha. and..the tour guide kept on talking which i felt irritating though i know it is his job.haha!

Haha!! yes! it is one of the 7 Wonders of the World. WOOHOO! Set off from the house around 3am. Initially wanted to see the sunrise but i guess luck was not on our side during that day. The sunrise is just a normal one. Not so beautiful as what the tour guide actually said. Bought a can of drink for 1USD and we got a chair to sit on. haha! Well, some caucasians were seen in the pic. Haha! they are not together with us dont worry!! they are just some random tourist too. hah!! the one wearing yellow shirt as well as the one beside val is SUPER HOT! seriously! haha!! after that visit the Temple of Thom where the movie Tomb Raider was filmed. haha! nice. Enjoy myself during that day despite the hot weather. haha!! Went for dinner at Lucky Burger. Some sort of fastfood restaurant. I ate Chicken Burger which cost me 1.50USD without drinks and fries. haha!! quite expensive ar..haha!! but im hungry! who cares!! hahha!!

Well, the picture above are some of of our progresss of the toilet and the well. hahaha!!although the experts had taken over our task cos they are more professional compare to us, we have no choice but to continue digging and level up the soil. haha! so mostly our task there is to dig holes. haa!! but it was fun.

On the 1oth, it was the last day that we spent with the people in Cambodia. Super sad moment! NOt alll of us manage to go to our construction site cos 7 of us were sick. We played a game called " Bacteria" trust me, the kids there run super fast like a cheetah. im exhausted. hhaha.the rest too actually. Performances held by the students there as well as ours. and lastly the opening of the well and the toilet. haha!! nice!! i love that moment. Bid our goodbyes to the people in Ballang. tears start to roll down but we held it. On the 11th, those who were sick felt much better. Cant actually wait to step down to our land, Singapore, though our heart is still in Cambodia. Towards landing to Singapore, some of us sang national day song, " Where I belong " haha!! so cute.
Wei Liang's sister fetched us and they went to park their car first. So left me and Hellven and we're lost searching for Popeyes. haha! but somehow managed to find it. Wei Liang, her sister, me, Hellven, CK and Fabian has our dinner at Popeyes.Unfortunately, all of us cant managed to finish it up. i gave CK my share cos he want to pack it home.. After dat, went back home with Wei Liang, his sister and Hellven. haha!! his sister actaully drive me and Hellven home..thanks dearies.
Enjoyable trip! photo more on fb.haha! Though there were some moments that i do not have the chance to interact more with our group members, i still find that we are the best.Hopefully, i can know them more as my friend and im like so interested la!! Also, there were some moments that miscommunication between me and other occured ( only some knows about it)m we managed to settle it there. haha!! well, nice meeting u people n talk often yeah..

So! today. whats the plan?? i have to go back to school AGAIN to take polo tshirt for the Cambodia trip. SUCK BALLSSzZ rite!!! i know! going back to school consecutively for 2 days??!! is really a bad thing when actually it is holiday period for me. huh............so meeting my crazy friend later , Val, at 330pm at woodlands interchange. hhaaha!!
After a trip to school, going to meet liana at JP. she wants to buy something at Cotton On. Argh..shes tempting me to buy the clothes there and i have to resist it! okay!!im saving my money la...
Next, i need to change my money to US currency. Yesterday my aunt is so kind to me dat she gave me $45 USD hhahaa!! and some cambodian money! yeah!! im gonna shop till i drop'! haha! also i have yet to buy my stuff to bring there..toiletries, undergarments...bla..bla..bla..so going to buy that later with my mum i guess.haha.
Whoo..seems like my today schedule is pretty tight today. im busy today.hahaha!! suck balls la u guysS!! hahaah!!!okay im gonna stop here..
