and so we went for heartstrings walk last sat~ and i enjoyed myself amidst the threatening balloons. finally got to take photos with the merlion! and realised tourists can be more dao than singaporeans. too bad it started raining and i wonder what happened to the lucky draw. bought new slippers to replace my soggy shoes and mummy likes them too! so now i'm supposed to buy another similar pair for her! she prefers black slippers though... so unadventurous.. haha.

met up with agnes yest... FINALLY my dear! happy to hear about interesting anecdotes of her job and really glad to know that she enjoys her job=) jiayou and we shall meet up soon to watch almighty!

have been spending most of my $ on food!! ate at pastamania last fri, sushi on wed, went to marche on fri... gosh. i need to save up!! and of cos, cut down on my calorie intake. w is looking fwd to have me join his club... noooooooo!!~

went to watch fireworks just now=) they were beautiful. but expensive. however, i guess spending so much $ to make everyone marvel at the beauty is rather worth it, well, in a way. at least people went home feeling satisfied and happy so itz a job well done! kudos to the creative directors of the fireworks display just now=0)

mind was fun and after so many years, i'm still in love with cluedo-related games! hope zy really had a great bday celebration with us though we only fed her tau hwey for dinner:$ but hey, we gave her a choice, didn't we?

and zy, u MUST wear the top we bought for u. oh yah u can wear to the fireworks fest this coming fri!

spent national day sleeping till the cows came home and then went out with daddy and mummy to buy pizza for dinner. itz just plain crazy going out on a public holiday but i guess i'd have to get used to it if not i'm going to spend all the public holidays sleeping in for the rest of my life and that actually sounds very sad. perhaps it will be a better choice to go hiking/cycling/picnicking on a public holiday instead of rushing to the malls and spending an entire day jostling with the crowd.

looking fwd to watching fireworks this fri~ and charity walk on sat=) 1st time going on a charity walk. dunno whether i will ever progress to a run or even marathon? haha... for now that just sounds so improbable.

going to meet junice for lunch this coming tue~ haven't seen her ever since... j1?! and since we are working in the same place meeting up will become so much easier!:)

and so i haven't been online for some time. haven't been in touch with the internet world. too tired to switch on the comp when i reach home everyday. have been running about, rushing stuff and to various places, and so i end up exhausted. but i think my typing speed has increased. haha. which is a good sign cos that means i can clear my work faster! yay=)

and i have been eating a lot! today we went kfc for lunch (and ended up talking bout cooking and somehow we ventured onto the topic of how to kill animals) and then our dear w went to buy 600g of bah kwa and so we ended up eating bah kwa for tea break (?) which occurred right after we returned to the office from lunch. i think we should really start monitoring the BMI of w. haha. our fav pastimes are shopping at ntuc and eating tim tam, btw.

and p wants to have a fish tank (i might have heard wrongly) in his cubicle. haha. i can imagine him singing to his fish and telling them stories. and of cos i will be his human audience since my cubicle is just right next to his. the radio that can't be switched off.. haha and he calls himself shameless.

was lucky enuff to hitch a ride from ws today and he taught me the fastest way to get from one place to another is to drive behind an ambulance cos everyone will allow the ambulance to pass and by driving directly behind an ambulance, the road is cleared for us. haha. a fire engine is too bulky while a police car will only make people slow down even more. and in the end, driving became a two-man business as i scanned the lanes in front for traffic in front of the ambulance and on the left for traffic before he changed lanes.

have been going out every weekend ever since i started work. last sun went to take some grad photos w amy and yiting at esplanade and ended up with most photos being taken indoors since it started raining cats and dogs soon after we started (as a result couldn't take photos with the merlion *sob* but a VERY VERY BIG THANKS to our beloved photographer tianai *hugz*) and tmr qy km zy and i are going to mind~ first time going there and i hope i will enjoy myself! i guess itz something like settlers, well shall go find out more tomorrow.

for now, itz time to retire to bed. i think i'm getting used to sleeping less than 6 hours a day that i can't even sleep much on weekends.
