Happy Little Stampers May CAS - RAIN

This card is going to a friend who is a cat lover and her two yellow tabbies are large. This will be a thank you card for my friend.
The stamp is from Lili of the Valley and I colored it with Copics and then die cut the image as well as yellow cardstock with a die from Lil Inkers. The sun is also Lil Inkers. Lastly I used Wink of Stella on the puddle and the rain drops.

CAS Watercolour May Challenge

For the May challenge I chose this stamp set from Unity. I had my doubts as to how well it would color so I began by sponging a portion of the card with a few distress inks and a light touch and let it dry. Next I stamped and heat embossed and then decided to try and color the flowers with distress inks and water brushes and I liked it. I attached the piece with mounting tape to white card stock. That is it. The moral I guess is just keep trying because I honestly tried to sell this NBUS at the last card making group garage sale. Silly me.

Supplies:
Stamp set - Unity "Books and Blossums"
Inks - Distress inks, VersaFine
Other - 140# watercolor paper, embossing powder

Seize the Birthday: Anything Goes

The card I am submitting for the current challenge at Seize the Birthday uses Yupo paper and alcohol inks. My card making group recently used these two items for the first time. Usually we have just used the alcohol ink and glossy paper. This image is particularly bold because of the brand of ink I chose and it was a little "wow," but once I trimmed the piece and mounted on white paper I preferred the look. The boldness of the ink required a bold sentiment.

Supplies:
Paper - Yupo, Michaels 110# white
Ink - Pinata alcohol inks, VersaFine
