In August of 2011 I arrived at a resting point, a place where I could exist. Throughout the year I had been kicking-ass at the gym, and arrived in the 200lb weight loss range. My body changed into a toned, muscular...satisfying image. I could run, jump, climb, and swim like I used to.
Over the past 2.5 years I have learned about the fine art of maintenance and how important exercise is to keeping my weight in check (I am not good at calorie restriction). I graduated from school with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN, RN) in May of 2013, and scored an amazing position in a challenging unit.
Starting my second career as an RN in my mid-30's was challenging. Keeping myself in shape and emotionally healthy has been a fragile balancing act. BUT I AM HAPPY AND SATISFIED. My body is so much different now, but the most significant change happened inside me:)
I do not have a desire to keep up my blog, but I did not end my last few posts with much. Happy endings are awesome!!
Hope you all are
