Crafters Companion Challenge
I would like to enter this card into the Crafters Companion Challenge No 19 - New Beginnings.
The rubber stamp is by s.w.a.l.k from Crafters Companion and I have coloured it with Promarkers. I love the characters that s.w.a.l.k. have created and they are so versatile. The purple paper is one of my favourites from Craft Creations. I finished the card with a few purple pearls and some ribbon.
I have promised myself a nice tidy house for the new year, so I really should go and make a start. . . . there again, I really do need a lot more practise at colouring!

Penny Black Saturday Challenge
The rubber stamp is from Penny Black and this cute little hedgehog is called 'gift hedgy'. I have coloured it in using promarker pens. The gorgeous swirly red paper is from Craft Creations and the die cut ponsettia was made using a marianne creatable die. I have just added some holly leaves, a piece of ribbon and a bit of bling!
Well, it's nearly Christmas, and I still have food to buy, presents to wrap and a house to tidy before the big day. I have two young very excited children who can't wait. I'd better go and get some work done!!
Happy Christmas everyone!

LOTV Challenge : Pink, white & silver
I would like to enter this card into the Lili of the Valley Challenge this week. I have been following this blog for ages but never actually entered. How sad that it is the last one, I have loved looking at all the entries, there are always some fabulous cards.
The gorgeous rubber stamp is 'Twinkling Star' from LOTV as is the sentiment stamp. I used promarkers to colour the image and added a die cut snowflake, some silver stars and gems. The papers are from my stash and I think they are papermania.

Penny Black Saturday Challenge
This week's challenge is 'white out', and I would like to enter this card. I've only just started using rubber stamps so my colouring isn't great! The stamp is called 'Royal Mail' and I think that the hedgehog is ever so cute! I covered the post box with glossy accents in the hope it would hide my colouring mistakes!

Craft Creations Competition
I'm absolutely chuffed to bits - I've just found out that I've won a runner up prize in the latest Craft Creations Competition. I love their classic decoupage papers, I used the singing snowmen for this card.
This is the first time I've put anything onto a blog - sorry for the poor photo!

Test from email
New from Struggling Authors and Night Publishing
'Knifing the Famous' is an intimate, emotionally complex, portrait of John Watson who was a pioneer British plastic surgeon who operated originally on 'The Guineapigs' - pilots who had been shot down in flames during WW2 and grossly disfigured - and who rose to the top of his field with clients ranging from Lord Lucan and a wife of the Kray Brothers, to Lady Churchill and members of the Royal Household. The big question: did he operate on Lord Lucan a second time immediately before he disappeared after the murder of his children's nanny Sandra Rivett?
