A Beautiful Baby Girl!

She's here! Born at 4:07pm weighing in at 8lbs.14oz. and 21 inches long. After 3 hours of pushing it was determined that she was just too big so she was delivered via C-Section. We still haven't decided on a name yet but should have one soon. More updates and pictures to come.

Hello from the hospital! We are checked in and Suzanne is doing fine. We found out she was already 5 cm. dilated when we got here so the baby may be here by the early afternoon (of course that's just a guess). More updates to come plus pictures of the baby... Oh yeah, we'll have name for her sometime this afternoon too.

Mark Your Calendars!

Monday September 13th, 2004 will mark the arrival of the latest Christiana (barring Suzanne going into labor before that). We have not decided on a name yet but we have a short list we are taking with us. The final decision on a name won't be made until after she is born.

Be sure to check back here frequently. I will have my laptop with me at the hospital and will be posting pictures here very soon after she is born (digital cameras are great).

This is the cradle Grandma and Grandpa Christiana got for this and future Christiana\Wilson babies.
(It occurred to me I might need to explain for those that don't know. My sisters last name is Wilson.)

A New Crib at Me-Me's

The Home Stretch

We have gotten so many wonderful shower gifts. Thank you to all of our friends and family. Our baby furniture was delivered today, so we are almost all set to bring this baby home.

We still do not have a name picked out. We probably won't decide until we see her sweet little face.

There is less than a month now until my due date (Sept. 10th) Matt and I are both very excited about her arrival. I'm really ready to be done with the huge belly, heartburn, and swollen ankles. I guess the sleepless nights will continue.

Chubby Cheeks

This picture is from a 3D Ultrasound we had done this past Friday. You can actually see the baby's face. The black space on top of her head is just a area the ultrasound wasn't getting any information from due to the angle. She doesn't have a big hole in her head. She is healthy and happy. We were actually able to watch her playing with her toes during the ultrasound.

This past Friday night, Suzanne and I went to have a 3D Ultrasound done.  We have some great pictures of the baby.  They are amazing.  You can actually see her face!  I'll post a couple of the pictures as soon as I can so be sure to check back soon.

Baby Update

Hi Everyone. Here's an update on our sweet baby girl. I went to the Dr. yesterday, and she weighs 2 1/2 pounds and is about 16 inches long. I am now 29 weeks along (7 months), so we have about 11 weeks left until our little munchkin is born. She is kicking up a storm (especially at night.) I think that's a sign of what's to come with her sleep patterns. She's wide awake while I'm trying to sleep. Everything is going great, and I'm feeling good. Large, but good. Thanks for checking out our website!

Uncle Jason and Aunt Janette wanted the baby to have a motorcycle like her Daddy's. It's the same color as mine, but her's is a Harley. She got a Harley before me!(If you'd like to see a pic of my bike, click the link on the right for "Crusier Customizing")

Week 17 Ultrasound

For those of you who haven't seen it yet, this is the ultrasound done at 17 weeks. This is when we found out we were having a little girl.

Baby's Room

This is a picture of the baby's room. We painted and put the border up in one weekend. It turned out even better than I had hoped. Now all we needs is furniture and at least the room will be ready for her arrival. The parents are another story...

Welcome!

Ok, here it is. Suzanne and I will use this site to share news and info about our baby for any who might be interested. We are expecting a baby girl to arrive on or around September 10th. We will be posting news and the occasional picture. This kind of forum isn't the best spot for pictures. The pictures I post here are going to be low quality. This site is just for quick updates and such. I will probably find another place on the web to share better quality pictures with the family once we get closer to the due date. My hope is that I can post quick updates to this site from the hospital on the big day and will be able to get the first pics up quickly for people to see. Between now and then just check back once and a while. Suzanne and I will post little updates about the pregnancy and the baby between now and the big day.

One feature of this site is the ability to comment on posts. Each post has a "comment" link at the bottom. You can use this to post your own thoughts and messages. Just remember that whatever you post will be visible to everyone who visits this site. Another feature is the "Links" section. I put a link to our baby registry there (I encourage everyone to check that out ;) and also links to a few of my favorite websites.
