BANGKOK CITY INN
Our stay at Bangkok City Inn was not a fantastic one. The carpet had a musky smell, breakfast was pathetic, the room breeds mosquitoes, the view was lousy, the bathtub was disgusting, the shower curtain was molded. But what could we have expected for a inn that costs like $40 per day? But what i felt that the inn needs more touching up over the years.
OUR LUNCH AT BLACK CANYON COFFEE HSE
Went for our lunch at a whole sale market beside indra sq hotel. It's a 10mins walk from our hotel to the location. Love the green curry, taste good, but the rice is portion is too pathetic. Couldn't ease my hunger, ordered additional bread.
CABBAGE AND CONDOM RESTURANT
This is the cabbage and condom restaurant located at ASOKE. By right its just 2 skytrain stations from our hotel. We took a cab instead that charges us 1500THB. Well after much argument with the taxi driver we gave him 800THB instead. Costs about $30+. Lodged a complain from the hotel, well the taxi operator couldn't even locate this particular taxi.
The food in cabbage and condom restaurant seems to have degraded after the years. Just felt that it doesn't taste that well as it used to be. The bill adds up to approx $40.
SIAM SQUARE
Our lunch at Siam square, ordered 2 plates of chicken. Well roasted, i love the piri piri sauce. Ah fat wanted to buy the sauce that cost $12. We figured out that's it not that good trade off after all.
This was my shrinking shopping spree in bangkok.. used to shop for alot of goodies in the past years. Spent about $480 for my trip.
E WORST MEAL SINCE IN BANGKOK
The tom yum ramen they advertised were actually maggie mee. The japanese curry rice, looks like a pile of watery gravy.

Overall, the trip was an enjoyment. It was pretty relaxing shopping and browsing around. Especially with the food that is alot cheaper. Full of trills rushing for the airplane terminal that nearly turned us down and our ride in the "Black Taxi".

We had prepared for ourselves for our department company function in hilltop ballroom. A crowd of 500-600 people watching us dance, me sing and the rest doing sign languages. The whole performance was a fusion of Justin Timberlake and Madonna 4mins dance, and a singing session of "when u believe" by Mariah Carey and Whitney Huston. The rest had prepared themselves with the sign languages.
Poor Gingerbreadman.. had became my channel of fustration, when that unwelcomed someone made me ran up the stage, just to snatch the prize from the president. Well, he really fought his way up the stage though seeing me walking/running to the aisle to recieve the prize.
Our 1 mth plus of rehearsal have finally paid off, though faced with a few hi cups, I felt that we had performed rather well. At most, we had put in so much effort and time in making it worked.
But somehow or rather, someone just have the habit of putting in lesser effort, but have his/her means to make him/herself stand out. 15Dec 2008 was a memorable day where it marks our teamwork. We were awarded a 2nd prize hamper.
