Pebbles

Alright so for your entertainment,

i'll upload some pictures showing my progress with training my dog. I'm currently teaching her how to pass the ball back to me, and how to dance. She sometimes sings to the radio as well but i didn't train her to do that. In fact i'd love to train her to STOP, but nevermind.

Guinea PIg

Today i saved a guinea pig. Apparently, an old lady was carrying it when it flew off the balcony of a HDB flat and landed on a branch of a nearby tree. Don't ask me how it flew. The only possible reason was that the old lady flung it but never mind. She said it flew, so okay, it flew. Maybe it's one of those flying squirrels, same goes for the guinea pig. When it opens up its arms, there's a blanket like thingy which helps it fly. New species of guinea pig.

ANYWAY, the point it, i swung (yes i swung, not flew) from the balcony, somersaulting into the air like those trapeze acts, and landed on the branch. It's a thick branch by the way. Okay so i didn't somersault, but i really did swing like tarzan so i could reach the tree. It's 2 stories high by the way, so i wouldn't plummet to my death or anything if i had missed. But usually i don't miss. I'd like to think I'm talented enough not to miss. Haha but i'm not. I'm just lucky. But i didn't think of possible consequences at that point of time. So i picked up the pig and stuffed it into my shorts. There was no pockets. Where else could i put it? Certainly not in my mouth. It was wriggling a lot and i think it made a hole in my pants so yeah well. Can sew it.

After i smartly got the pig, i realized i could not possibly swing myself back to the HDB flat. Fantastic right? So who were called to save ME? Fire brigade. GEEZ. BUT thank goodness, while the old lady was making the call, i decided to try to climb down. And somehow i managed it, scraping my knee a bit. Hmm I'm quite good at climbing down trees.

I think i know why. Mum explained it to me before. I can climb down from anywhere very well. But i can rarely climb UP. That's cause i was trained from young. Dad used to put me on branches at botanical gardens etc. But he always forgot to take me down. And then he'll disappear to drink kopi or something. So in order to survive, i had to learn how to climb down. I'm like a backward monkey. I can hug things and slide down very well, but my legs aren't long enough to go up. Maybe that's why I'm terrible at rock climbing. My backside is simply too heavy to lift up and go UP. But my abseiling is like whooaaa... haha... Okay granted that i usually slip off the platform before i am ready to abseil but that's' another story.

Alright enough of the musings of loisa. I just wanted to blog about how the dooms day of a guinea pig was turned into live day.

oh here's a picture of a guinea pig that looks similar to the one i saved.

25th October 2008

Great so i am officially wide awake after drinking more sabah tea. I was so absolutely tired when i get home, but my parents were busy so i had to wait for them to be done before i could wash up and sleep. Thus, the tea.

Since i can't sleep now, but am in no mood to do my reflection paper, i shall blog about today.

Guess what? Today was the UB Masked Party. Yep, at Zouk. (i finally got the name right yay!)

Jane, Christine and i went down REALLY early, and stared into the air til people started arriving. Then we nearly died perspiring to death. We've really got to thank Christine for staying with us. So anyway, it was tough. REALLY tough getting people to take pictures. They just simply didn't want to pay 3 bucks for it! But oh well. We tried, we truly did. And we took so many pictures on our own. -_-

So.. my first and probably last experience of entering a club.

- Had to check ID. -.-
- very dark. But i glowed, cause i wore white. interesting.
- Cannot see anyone. foggy. Kept tripping
- Loud music, headache. At first it made me tap my feet, but after a while the beat was a bit too much for my weak heart
- DEAFENING. btw, i'm STILL deaf. So don't talk to me for the next few days. I can't hear.
- i simply can't dance.
- i simply can't drink either. Taste doesn't appeal to me.

Anyway some people were quite kind =) I know they took pictures because we asked.. Really kind thank you all so much =))

Okay, I've got nothing else to say, so I'll just post pictures.

Loisa

Jane took this for me when we were testing out the camera =)

Okay this is one of Gerard and me. Somehow we were conned into taking one, but since we did, i wanted one too! haha thank you Gerard. Haha he paid for it for mee GRIN

And now for the finale...

Black Jane

THAT IS PRETTY JANE! Can't you recognize her? Oh you can't see? Okay yeah. You can SOOO tell who took it. Yours truly. That is why, Jane was the one in charge of the camera today. I am obviously not a good photographer.

23rd October 2008

It is now 7.30pm only and i'm falling asleep while standing. zzzz Tough week man! Really pushes you, but everything was done on time, and to the best of my abilities, so yay! haha

Oh guess why i'm standing? Cause i fell asleep in my soup on the table. So i took away the chair hoping i'd keep awake if i'm standing. Ha YEAH RIGHT should have known better. So now i'm typing while waiting for krystel's email then i can start work! =)

My sabah tea is brewing. Yeah i finally opened the packet and tried it. I've been procrastinating. Thank goodness it hasn't expired. Couldn't bear to look at it for.. WAHHH 10 months what the... I'm pathetic man. Haha but ANYWAY, it's DAMM GOOD. You guys should try it! I'll make a cup for you if there's any left after tonight at the rate i'm drinking haha.

Keeps me awake. For like 5 minutes. So i've been drinking every 10 minutes. Yeah, i'm on my third teabag now. And to think that 2 cups of tea can be made from one teabag. SO... there are 17 bags left. Cool! Enough to last til like 4, 5 am?

Sigh...

OO goodie! Just received Krys's email! BACK TO WORK! See ya people! =)

ps: this was posted so late cause i was so kan chiong that i forgot to click "publish post". alamak

14th October 2008

WELL

Council isn't quite working out to be well, erm, fulfilling? Or rather, it's kind of demoralizing. As in we don't seem to be able to help much, or that we're not really needed, so it's a bit zzz. We'll see how it turns out. Macham running around queensway to try and get things done fast then in the end, aiyoo.

tsk tsk.

Gotta remember to borrow shirt from jane on friday. No wait she doesn't have school. Thursday. Jane! If you're reading this, remind me to remind you.

Oh about today's critical thinking class, ZZZZZ. Michelle, cherie, and i were totally zzzz when he went through our mid term answers. Haha... He's an odd lecturer seriously. But class today was quite fascinating. The student advisor plus kevin came down to sit in.

Ummmkay. Nothing much to blog about. SEE PEOPLE? I have nothing to blog about! haha blogging sometimes normal is borrringgg... haha

6th October 2008

Hey so guess what?

Today my oh so loving parents drove off to dinner without me. As in they got into the car, drove off, and left me standing there in the basement carpark. -_-

Picture this.

A family of three walks out of the lift and toward their family car.

Dad unlocks the front two doors and gets into the driver's seat.

Mum gets into the passenger seat.

Kid jingles the door knob, grumbling to mum that dad didn't open ALL the doors AGAIN.

Mum doesn't answer, shuts the door.

Dad starts ignition, and drives off.

Kid runs after the car.

Security guard realizes what happens and chases the car, and knocks the boot.

Dad drives the car away, leaving a pile of rising dust behind him.
(okay i exaggerated the pile of dust portion)

Picture the after effect.

Kid frantically calls mum on handphone.

Realizes basement carpark has no reception.

Runs all the way up the the first floor and calls mum again.

Mum's phone is switched off. Battery must have gone flat.

Parents have yet to realize kid is not in the car with them.

Parents drive all the way to the market to eat. They get out of car, and finally realize kid is missing.

End of story.

Fantastic eh? Fantastic.
