Fort Canning Hill

Have you ever been to Fort Canning Hill? It's really pretty there, all the nature, trees, birds, spices... and one specific "monkey" eh? (*snorts*)

Here is a small slideshow, on what we saw. Haha obviously the pictures are not taken by me, not with a lousy camera phone like me (that's what you get with a free samsung handphone). I found these pictures on the net, but it's what i saw with my own eyes! It's beautiful down there! =)

Ps: I just viewed the slideshow through my blog, and i got a major headache. It's moving too slow, and it keeps zooming at a jerky pace, but i can't find any nicer layout of a slideshow, so erm, sorry, if you get motion sickness too, do click on the "view show" at the bottom right hand corner of the slideshow. It's easier on the eyes, but not so shiok. haha =)

Zoo Part 3

Right ho! Zoo part 3! Haha it's the last part, i promise =) I'll wrap it up with this post!

We passed by this funny place with snakes, bugs (MY FRIENDS!) of all sorts... *shiver* but they were pretty cute. Cool too!









Oh, i love this snake! Haha can you tell why? (Hint: THE COLOR!!)



We caught the lions too!



And... look at the little goats! Kids, they're called...







Right so at the children's farm, there were pigs of all sorts...

The black sleepy ones...



And the normal cute looking one..



And my long awaited moment.. THE RABBITS!!





And the guinea pigs...



Unfortunately, they were all too far away for me to carry or pet them, so i had to be contented with taking pictures of them and flinging my arms as far in as i could, to no avail...

There were sheeps and birds too...





And ahhh the highlight of that day, KENNETH AND HIS FELLOW DONKEYS! AHA there he is! -grin-



And jaden refused to leave without paying his respects to the monkey...



Finally, we were on our way home! We insisted on taking the tram cause
1) It was too far back to walk to the entrance and we were tired
2) We had to make our money worth! The zoo ticket we purchased came with a free tram ride!! haha

The boys on the tram... Yeah they're the monkeys of that day...





And here our zoo journey ends, with a picture (paranomic view) taken on the tram! Goodbye people, and see you again!



PS: Nooo we missed akira! Oops i mean we missed Inuka, the polar bear!! Argh by the time we reached his enclosure, they were scrubbing it, and they migrated him to er, somewhere, a fridge or something i guess. =( Kinda defeats our purpose of going to the zoo, but ahh it's alright! He's here to stay now, they wouldn't be moving him anywhere else, so we can always visit him another time! *mutter mutter the price mutter* HAHA

Zoo Part 2

okay, the continuation of the zoo excursion.

Next up, we saw the white tigers!! They're really beautiful and majestic! Take a look!

Ahhh one of my favourites! A kangeroo or a wallaby, the smaller version of a kangeroo. Obviously, we were too excited about stroking the animal, we forgot to find out what it really was! They were allowed to roam free you know, and one actually crossed my path! I had to fight the urge to grab it and give it a hug!

Okay haha, Cherie came across an empty buggy? Haha so we all piled in and she drove us to... NAH haha we just posed in it!

I actually climbed into the house thing! Haha! I was so scared i would get reprimanded for it; i was like "Quick quick, faster take!!" Oh, and take a look at jaden's house in the middle -.-"

AHA! Orang utans! And no, we didn't see Ah meng...



Oh oh! The baboons, and their flaming red bottoms! The males' are redder, and it's supposedly to attract the females! I wouldn't mind having a green butt =)





And look at this funny turtle thing! It's got a cute face though...

Finally, we found an air-conditioned room. BLISS! Whew. Yep, a picture of what we felt and looked... Presenting, the sian duo!

Right, moving on... The zebras!



And then, the Rhinos...



Our second resting palace... Haha by then we were resting A LOT! I for one, was trying to find every oportunity to sit down at every rest-a-ble place available.

But what's more sweetie pie are... THE RING-TAILED LEMURS!



We caught them at feeding time, so here's one having a banana!



If you go to the zoo, you HAVE to go to the children's farm, haha cause that's where all the tiny pet-ta-ble animals are!!

A miniature horse...
