Its Terrific what Facebook is

Its terrific what Facebook is.

Although I am not one to spend a lot of time on it (given my crappy internet connection), I must admit that the "world is flatter"now with these conceptions.

I logged in, went to my homepage and saw an amazing information.

"Benjamin Fu, Teo Boon Chen, Tay Xin Mei, Jervais Choo" were tagged in an album "xxx's wedding". xxx is a construct that is of no matter.

The point is, Ben is my Imperial EEE senior, Boon Chen (wenjing) is my HCJC batchmate, Xin Mei is my VnR GJnr, and Jervais, well I dunno him personally but he is one of the ADA guys 3 yrs my senior. The factor that 4 different friends from 4 different social circle can actually be present at the same wedding. I may be making a mountain out of this, but I am wowed ;)

==========

And yes, in my last post I mentioned that I wanted to complain about HDB.

Ben: Yup, damn dead. 24 hours per day is not enough.

PY: Next time you better update more regularly than me. You refresh rate which in Year 1 Imperial is already lagging behind me =P But anyway, study hard. Exams coming.

Back to HDB.

1.) Dec 07 - I got queue number 4800+ for 300 odd flats in Ponggol. I'm used to bad luck, so I shrugged this off, even though I really liked the flats there.

2.) Jan 08 - Ballotted for City View @ Boon Keng. 3500+ applicants for 700 flats. Result: I got rejected outright without even given a queue number.

3.) Feb 08 - BTO at Ponggol. Luckily, I am not really interested in these, cos the construction will finish in 2013. Way too late. But anyway, HDB told me that there are 1400 first time applicants, and they gave me the ballot number 1292. Very lucky.

4.) Feb 08 - Although I had half given up hope on HDB, news of them releasing 230 flats in matured estate stirred some interest. I checked the application status at the end of registration day 1 : 2300 applicants... What's wrong with Singaporeans man.. the final verdict at the end of registration day 5 : 9900 applicants for 230 flats.. forget it..

Hey, I'm still alive actually, but in a weekly routine that's like work-sleep-work-sleep-work-sleep, I barely have the time to update.

But just before I forget, here are some stuff that I need to write about:

1. Review of 2007. I really hope I have the time for this man..
2. Complain about the housing situation in Singapore.
