Updates
It has really been a couple of hectic months without updating my life here. I do not know who is still reading about the mundane and dull life I’ve been leading for the past months, but if you are, thanks.
Time really passed with a whirl with the amount of work chunked at me. Finally, the preparations for NDP are at its grande finale, with 2 more rehearsals to go before the big day. Hiccups are becoming rarer, and Saturdays are passing more peacefully then when it first begun. Nonetheless, the amount of administrative work on the weekdays are horrendous.
Of course, NDP isn’t all of my troubles. My operator course consist of men of an assortment of courage and integrity. I can have operators whose attitude to their training puts some officers to shame, while I can have those whose integrity and theatrics to get out of work makes me wonder if they are even men at all. After getting them to be used to the tough training, I am now dealing with a stream of medical certificates coming in, and its really demoralizing for me. I miss my old A5 course in 2001. Really appreciate your courage then.
Hui Min :)
On a happier note, my dear girl is back :) She got back to Singapore last Monday, and that has really made a positive change to my daily schedule. I can now look forward to meeting her sometimes for lunch, fetching her home after work… Her NIE training will commence this week though, and hopefully it will suck up too much of her time =P

I’m supposed to move on the 13th August, the Monday after NDP if over. However, there seemed to be another plan for me after speaking to another officer, one who is my Imperial Alumnus senior. So till now, I’m still unsure of where I’ll go next. There’s going to be a farewell dinner for Ben and Jie Ren this Wednesday. Who knows, it might be mine too ;)
