Hiya ladies and gentlemen.
As you can see, it has been nearly1 monthin since I last typed "blogger" into my address bar. But anyway, here I am once again, noting that my tagboard has died due to consistent unuse.
Much has happened over the last month. We had the RSAF open house, of which Ground Based Air Defence Units (or GBAD) played a big role. I'm sure all you guys who went noticed us green things over the cool, suave pilots in their hot seats. After all, we put in more effort in manning our equipment under the sun. After all, that's what the air force is all about -- Ground troops. Innit?
After that would be Exercise Bersama Padu, a Five Power Defence Arrangement exercise. I must say that the exercise opening was impressive. With that, I settled down into a squattle settlement at Tanjong Skopek, which is all the way at the western end of Singapore, where everytime I need to talk to Hui Min or send an sms, I'll need to hug a lamppost for better reception.
But the good news is that I have passed my interview, and secondly, the conduct of the above were a success.
I've finally started on my driving lessons, and taken my Basic theory trial exam, and horrors of horrors, I found out that even the Theory test conduct has a queue, and the earliest date which I can take it is on the 20/10. That means more delays. Urgh. I was rather looking forward to more driving lessons.
Hui Min is leaving this weekend. I am really dreading the passage of this week. For the last few years, end Sept would always be a forthnight of anticipation for me. A couple of weeks whereby I would meet up with some friends, pack my lugguage and await the day whereby I fly off to London, to a place which I used to dream of, but never expected myself to be at. I wouldn't say that 4 years slipped out of my grasp unknowingly, because after the first couple of years, I was desperately holding on to my time there, hoping against hope that it would pass slower. Nonetheless, I am back working, slogging, dreaming once again.
I dunno when would be the next time I blog. I hope I can have the chance often. I hope I hope.
