Reporting from Duty!

August will be a very busy month.

Have a couple of exercises, have my dreaded interview, National Day, and loads of paper work. Somehow, it doesn't feel as if I have been back for work for a month. It seemed a lot longer than that.

I seemed to have lost my drive for blogging. Most of the stuff at work must not appear here, and I haven't been leaving camp much either. Still awaiting that lull in activities, but it would probably elude me until October.

Joseph is very shag from work.

Singapore.Work.Results.Exco

Back in Singapore with mixed feelings. In some sense I do feel glad that I am back for good. at the age of 24, its timeto start planning on settling down. On the other hand, it is inevitable that a sense of loss would be felt. After all, I've called London home for the past 4 years.

Work started officially on Thursday, although I had been involved in activities since Tuesday. Once it starts, it marks the start of a stretch of life which will end only with retirement. No more summer vacations, no more study breaks in between. Oh how I look forward to that.

I called the undergraduate office on Friday for my results. First class. Relieved. Anything less than that would have been totally disappointing. Now I could bug manpower for my promotion and prepare for scheme C interview.

Got together with half the exco today for a get together. Peida fell sick and he could not meet us. Its a meetup, but its kinda like a luncheon to send Doris back to US too. The next time we meet, it would probably be the same few of us, with Velma replacing Doris. I was just wondering when Hui Min and Timothy would be added to this luncheon group =D

And yah, Doris told me that 24 is a good age for a girl to marry
