Off We Go

And off we go, the end of the revision weeks they kindly termed "Easter holidays", the start of the examination term.

I have a total of 9 modules, 2 of which were examined in January. That makes it 7 more to go this term. I have Linear Optimal Control, Finance and Finance Management and Optimization in the first week, Spectral Estimation Adaptive Signal Processing and Digital Image Processing in the second, Discrete Time Systems and Computer Control in the 3rd, and Digital Signal Processing the the 4th. I know Eewen and Kai have 5, but still, four weeks of exams is torture.

And as of now, I am quite burnt out. Perhaps I had been a little more conscientious this year, hence I feel quite prepared for the first week, and hence feeling quite sick whenever I notice the pile of notes stacked besides my table. Having went through at least 2 rounds on my past year papers, I am simply praying that the lecturers don't chuut stunt and stun us with some ridiculus questions that are undoable. If not, I should tide through these four weeks comforably.

If you somehow notice me in the campus with my face green, you know my answers ain't answered. o.0 In that event, please wish me luck =P

To those of you having exams too, good luck, study hard, and it'll be over soon.

What Liverpool fans think of Traore

When the team sheets read out
Their wingers start to shout
"yes traore"

When riise got pain
and raffa's gone insane
Its Traore

Right in front of the kop
he'll end up in a knot
oh traore

His control is sublime
he's like homer on wine
our traore!!!!!

When I was just a little boy, I asked my mother, what will I be?

You scored as Mathematics. You should be a Math major! Like Pythagoras, you are analytical, rational, and when are always ready to tackle the problem head-on!

Well EEE explains the mathematics and engineering bars outstretching the rest, AEP explains the art bar, and frankly, I never thought of psychology at all. What's interesting is despite taking Higher Chinese at A levels, linguistics is ranked way at the bottom. Not really that accurate, isn't it? How about Economics or International Relations? Military studies? These were what I wanted to major in. Which categories do they fall under? I am guessing its definitely not the big 5s.

Waxing and Waning

Sorry for abandoning the blog everyone, but there's a higher calling -- exams.. I am sure everyone is feeling the blues from it by now (especially the 3rd years EE Engineers.. get the pun?)

I thought that before I let the arachnids spin webs on this blog, I better write something. Doesn't it make you wonder how it is possible that time manages to just slip past without you knowing it? At the start of the holidays, you think that 4 weeks is a great amount of time to study for all your subjects. But before you know it, you are in the middle of the third. Scary, innit? I was in the kitchen making myself a cup of kopi when I noticed an almost full moon. wth?? I faintly remembered it being a thin cresent not too long ago. That makes it a good 2 weeks gone.

But then again, it could also mean that the 4 weeks of exams should pass as fast. (Fat hope I think.) Exams, then FYP, and its time to bade final goodbye to London. There should be a Senior Farewell party in May.

Air ticket has been booked. I would be flying back to Singapore on the 23rd June, landing on the 24th. Work begins on 29th June. Not much break in between, just enough for me to settle back, get rid of any jetlag, and get used to the reality that what's left of a London student's life is just a cherished memory eched at the back of my mind. Life has changed. Its back to the military.

What are you waiting for? Carry on 20.
