The picture that came with the kit

Here is the colour picture that came with my kit.
I refer to it to make sure my counts are correct and to match up colours.

Band 10 Colour

The colour on the left is the colour that came with my kit. It looks nowhere near the colour on the box or other samplers I have seen stitched. So I decided to substitute DMC 400 for it since it looked alot like the colour in the picture above. Now to begin...

Band 9

Band 9 was just a Long arm cross. Like I mentioned earlier the instructions given with my kit for the Long Arm Cross looks like a Montenegrin stitch but I did the traditional Long Arm Cross.

Took a little longer to do this band but was simple to do.

Band 7

Band 6

 Repeat of Band 1 except in blues.

Bands 1-7

On the picture the last tan motif doesn't have the end cross but I added it on mine.

Tan Motifs: #58 begins #1 again

Blue motifs :#51 begins #5 again

Band 5 Completed

Took me a bit to complete this band due to a baby sampler I had to finish for my niece. You can see it on my other blog.

my chart has 123 next to 164. This should be 173. 123 is in the middle line

Band 5 Right section

The end of the chart has  3 blue slashes then the last motif. The picture has 4. I followed the picture but not a major factor in the finished product I guess.

When I did the last section there wasn't any real clear instructions on this area so I went from 114 to 141. Ended at 184 to start acorn. Come back at 22 to 219 end at 281.
