Sleeping Thomas

Daylight savings change is hard on everyone!

Halloween

When I took Thomas shopping for his Halloween costume he told me "no (c)ostume, no t(c)andy, stay home!" I finally got him to wear a fireman's hat and with that he became a fireman. We went treat or treating on base with our play group. At first he wasn't sure about it but then came the candy. We went to a few buildings where they were set up and it was well done. Thomas would pick out things he didn't like and give them to me to put into my purse. One women asked Thomas if he wanted play dough or candy and he told her "tandy!"
I wanted some pictures of the candy and Thomas was ready to go!

Blowing bubbles during the carnival. Daddy played the mad scientist for one of the booths.
I had worked on trying to get Thomas to say trick or treat and he wouldn't do it. He would go up to the cars at the trunk or treat and say "want some too." And he said a few thank yous too.
Thomas with his hat on backward asking for "one more!"

First choice to be eaten, Smarties.
Look at all that candy!

Thomas made short work of the licorice too.

Pumpkin Carving

Thomas helped me put sprinkles on the cupcakes. He loves helping!

Declining to help take the guts out.
Helping daddy draw the face.

Zoo

Logan had the day off so we went to the Sedgwick County Zoo for the first time. The zoo is huge! We saw a ton but not all of it before we had to head home for nap time. The penguins were so cute!

I bought food to feed the fish. The ducks were faster than the fish so I guess it was more duck food.

Feeding the giraffes was so cool! They lick you and go after your stash of food. They are really entertaining.

Autumn

This is a good representation of fall in Kansas. Sometimes it is hot and sometimes it's not. For a while I had to dress Thomas two times a day.

New Sandbox

It is too hot during the summer to play in the sandbox so I waited until they went on clearance. I got this one for $7.50 instead of $35. The sand cost more than the box. I know that it looks really cold out but it was in the 60s, a cold front came through and it was windy. Thomas loved his new sandbox he played for two hours until it was getting dark. Note he didn't ever get in the sand box he just played around the edges and if he actually got any on his hands he would dust it off him right away.
