LOVE this story....almost peed my pants when I read it.

Dear Diary,

For my birthday this year, my Husband (the dear) purchased a week of personal training at the local health club for me.
Although I am still in great shape since being a high school football cheerleader 43 years ago, I decided it would be a good idea to go ahead and give it a try.

I called the club and made my reservations with a personal trainer named Christo, who identified himself as a 26-year-old aerobics instructor and model for athletic clothing and swim wear.

My husband seemed pleased with my enthusiasm to get started! The club encouraged me to keep a diary to chart my progress.

MONDAY:

Started my day at 6:00 a.m. Tough to get out of bed, but found it was well worth it when I arrived at the health club to find Christo waiting for me. He is something of a Greek god - with blond hair, dancing eyes and a dazzling white smile. Woo Hoo!!

Christo gave me a tour and showed me the machines. I enjoyed watching the skillful way in which he conducted his aerobics class after my workout today. Very inspiring!

Christo was encouraging as I did my sit-ups, although my gut was already aching from holding it in the whole time he was around. This is going to be a FANTASTIC week-!!

TUESDAY:

I drank a whole pot of coffee, but I finally made it out the door. Christo made me lie on my back and push a heavy iron bar into the air then he put weights on it! My legs were a little wobbly on the treadmill, but I made the full mile. His rewarding smile made it all worthwhile. I feel GREAT-!! It's a whole new life for me.

WEDNESDAY:

The only way I can brush my teeth is by laying the toothbrush on the counter and moving my mouth back and forth over it. I believe I have a hernia in both pectorals. Driving was OK as long as I didn't try to steer or stop. I parked on top of a GEO in the club parking lot.

Christo was impatient with me, insisting that my screams bothered other club members. His voice is a little too perky for that early in the morning and when he scolds, he gets this nasally whine that is VERY annoying.

My chest hurt when I got on the treadmill, so Christo put me on the stair monster. Why the heck would anyone invent a machine to simulate an activity rendered obsolete by elevators? Christo told me it would help me get in shape and enjoy life. He said some other crap too.

THURSDAY:

Butthole was waiting for me with his vampire-like teeth exposed as his thin, cruel lips were pulled back in a full snarl. I couldn't help being a half an hour late - it took me that long to tie my shoes.

He took me to work out with dumbbells. When he was not looking, I ran and hid in the restroom. He sent some skinny witch to find me.

Then, as punishment, he put me on the rowing machine -- which I sank.

FRIDAY:

I hate that jerk Christo more than any human being has ever hated any other human being in the history of the world. Stupid, skinny, anemic, anorexic little aerobic instructor. If there was a part of my body I could move without unbearable pain, I would beat him with it.

Christo wanted me to work on my triceps. I don't have any triceps! And if you don't want dents in the floor, don't hand me the darn barbells or anything that weighs more than a sandwich.

The treadmill flung me off and I landed on a health and nutrition teacher. Why couldn't it have been someone softer, like the drama coach or the choir director?

SATURDAY:

Satan left a message on my answering machine in his grating, shrilly voice wondering why I did not show up today. Just hearing his voice made me want to smash the machine with my planner; however, I lacked the strength to even use the TV remote and ended up catching eleven straight hours of the Weather Channel.

SUNDAY:

I'm having the Church van pick me up for services today so I can go and thank GOD that this week is over. I will also pray that next year my husband will choose a gift for me that is fun -- like a root canal or a hysterectomy. I still say if God had wanted me to bend over, he would have sprinkled the floor with diamonds!!!

5 Months Old...How Did This Happen?

So my baby is 5 months old!  I can't believe it.  I know I say this each month but 5 months really?!  She's huge...literally she's huge.  She's barely five months old and ALL her clothes are 6-12 months....(sigh).

Eden is getting to be so much fun.  Here are the things she's learned to do.
*She loves to eat pears...apples (not so much) and bananas (loves them)
*She belly laughs now and I can't get enough of it
*She has found her feet and any chance she gets she grabs them and shoves them in her mouth
*She has finally learned to jump in her jumper and loves to jump.  Even when she's mad and wants to get out she jumps faster
*She has almost rolled over.  She has her upper half down.  We are still working on getting that leg to cross over.
*She can almost sit up on her own.  She likes it when I put the bobby behind her so she can sit up.  If I ever lay her against something she always tries to pull herself into a sitting position which ends with her falling to the side...we are still working on those core muscles, but we are OH SO close.
Today we had a little photo shoot and I think the pictures turned out great.

My big girl

She LOVES the camera...not nesscessarily (spelling?) taking the picture but loves the camera itself.

I have a ton of these kinds of pictures...

trying to eat the camera...

This time she acutally grabbed the camera right when I was taking the picture...

Eden is very busy these days and by the time Les comes home I'm exhausted, especially on the days I have to work....but I can't help but love it when I find her like this...

So sweet when she sleeps I could squeeze her.  She loves her face covered when she sleeps.

Even though she's getting so big, I can't help but love everyday I have with her.  Most of all, I love that she loves her mom. She's the sweetest little baby and I'm so lucky/grateful she's all mine!

Won't You Be My Valentine?!

So my family and I had a great Valentines this year.  Natalie came in from Cali and we hung out all weekend long....which meant I left my husband all weekend long over Valentines day...I know I'm an awesome wife, but I did make it up to him.

Well, we had fun playing the Wii and going to lunch and all that sort of stuff but I didn't manage to pull out my camera until Valentine's Day...so here are the pictures I DO have.
This is me and Eden on Valentines day.  I totally copied Missy and bought the exact same dress she got for her little girl.  I just couldn't help myself.  It was too dang cute.

Lately when I try and take Eden's picture, this is what she does.  She LOVES her feet and wants to grab them any chance she gets.

my little valentine

While I was trying to take Eden's picture Ever was screaming her guts out because I wouldn't let her sit on the couch next to her (Ever is a little obessed).  So after I got a couple of good shots I let Ever get on the couch.

Ever smiling at Eden cuz she got her way

first it was just an arm behind Eden

Then it was two

Then it was a leg coming on top of Eden

notice the ever approaching leg...it one point it was across Eden

sheer joy for Ever...a look of terror for Eden

"I Love Her!"...you know that's what Ever is thinking

Eden giving in to the mauling..

Followed promtly by a kiss!

This is my gift to Les for Valentines day.

My cute card.  I got him a Steelers sweatshirt.  It was pretty sweet.  I'm not very crafty when it comes to presents for Les.  I either get him something Steelers or something Utah...the man is hard to buy for.

On a completely different note.  Natalie made Eden a bow and it was very cute so I took a picture.

My daughter is officially wearing all 6-9 mo and 6-12 mo clothes.  She's huge.  It makes me very sad...but she sure is cute!

Superbowl

This year for the superbowl we had planned to go to our lovely friend's house for the big game...unfortunately, my daughter decided to be a crazy person that day.  She would literally freak out and scream bloody murder for like 10 minutes straight for no apparent reason.  Earlier that day we attempted to go to church but barely made it through the sacrament before the melt downs began.  Needless to say we didn't finish church or leave the house that day.  I could not put her down.  I literally held her all day and now I'm feeling the effects...my back is KILLING me, but somehow I got her to smile for some much needed Eden's 1st Superbowl Pictures....
Les has been waiting since the day Eden was born for her to fit into this shirt.  He kept asking me if it would fit her yet..it was still a little big but we made it work. I, however, wanted to join in on the family shirt theme but I have yet to recieve a steelers shirt from my husband...
...because the Steelers weren't in the superbowl.
a moment of happiness (probably because she was being held)...
I just want you all to take a good look at these pants...these are 9 month pants!  My child is huge.  The waist on the 3-6 mo pants squeeze her guts out and are almost too short.  I just can't believe she fits in these pants.
Bronson decided he wanted "his headband" and stole it from Eden.  Everything is his.  He even calls Eden's bumbo "My Eden's Bumbo".  Once he put this on, he ran to his dad and yelled "surprise".  Chad immedately yelled at him to take it off....he just ran away and kept it on the rest of the night.
I just had to take a picture of Eden in this outfit.  I was loving it.  Notice the 3-6 month pants....they are a little to short and her belly is exploding out of the sides (sigh)...she's so big.

Tracy's 19...Say What?!

So my baby sis turned the big 1-9 on the 29th and we Hutchisons do what we do and it was awesome. This is the ubber cute hat I got for Tracer on her birthday.
Totally cute right?  If you know Tracy, you know she rarely wears clothes.  She pretty much lives her days in sweats so I thought this hat might spruce up her wardrobe. We took Tracy to lunch for her birthday and after lunch we went and visited Marcia and the chillin'.  Ever was so excited to see Eden.  She just wanted to hold her.  We thought it was hilarious.  Here are some pictures of her practicing to be a big sister.

We told Ever to make her funny face and this is the face she gave us.  Oh man, she's hilarious!
Ever would not let Eden out of her sight...where ever Eden was that's where you'd find Ever.  As you can see I couldn't even hold my baby without Ever on my lap as well. Marcia, you better guard your baby like a hawk.

Here's Tracy with her favorite niece
True to form we had an AWESOME theme for Tracy's birthday.  She wanted a Mexican Feista with the essence of a tiger.  Here is what we came up with.  (mind you that cake is ALL me...ya I'm awesome)

decor

my mom decided to embrace the essence of a tiger theme

My mom didn't decide to start decorating until 12am and so she asked me to help.  As tired as I was I pulled this out of my bag of tricks

I even wrapped all the presents

The mexican fiesta came into play with the food.  We had Cafe Rio salads...delic

Tracy with my creation. If you didn't know the tiger was peering out from the jungle...hence the leaves

Making a wish...I'm pretty sure it was to find a boyfriend this year...just a guess

Look at Dan Barrett's face...oh man...love Dan Barrett.

On a completely different note, what's a post without some cute pictures of my baby.  While I was up at my mom's I gave her a bath in the sink and Tracy and I were dying because she was just lounging out.  I was cracking up.

Eden LOVES her baths

I also snagged this jumper from Marcia before I left and Eden is loving it.  She just sits in there and plays forever, which is great for me, since it gives me some time to eat and get laundry done.  Thanks Marc!

MAN! that's a cute baby

Oh I forgot...About a week ago Miss Eden went to her 4 month check up. Here are her stats:
Weight: 15 lbs 6 oz  94%
Height: 25 inchc  90%
Head: 34cm   70%
Height/Weight Combined 40%

So pretty much the doctor told me that she's proportionate for her height and weight, just a really big 4 month old. He also told me that I could start feeding her fruits and veggies...but that's an entire post itself...so stay tuned.
