9 Months!

OKay so I'm feeling pretty gross about the picture I posted in the last post so I thought I would upload one of me not looking like death! This is right after the temple dedication today and at least I have make up on...so disregard the last picture in my previous post!

Lots of Gifts and 36 Weeks!

So these past two weeks have been super busy. I've been trying to wrap up everything I can when it comes to Miss Eden. Well, two weekends ago I had a shower up Ogden at my mom's house. Thanks a ton to everyone who came. I was so happy to see you all. And THANK YOU for the gifts. I was very spoiled. Here are some of the highlights...

My VERY talented sister Marcia made me this bow hanger for the baby's knook. She even painted the plaque to match my bedding (very impressive) and to top it off...she made all the bows. It's good to know people like Marcia!

I was totally surprised to get this gift. My wonderful sister Tracy bought me a bottle warmer. She's so awesome. Love her!

My cute friend Danica drove ALL the way from Farmington to come to my shower with her very tiny baby Aliayah (sorry if I spelled that wrong!). Her little girl was born 5 weeks early and she is teenie tiny! My Aunt Jilene took no time to swoop that baby up and take her away! Here she is loving on Aliayah.

My very fabulous neighbor Sherry even made an appearance. I love his lady and was glad she came. I haven't seen her in forever!

I wish I had more pictures of the people who came but I forgot to pull out my camera until the shower was pratcially over...Sorry everyone but you get off the hook this time of having a guest spot on my blog.

Here I am with all my loot! I got a ton of stuff.

My lovely grandma and Aunt Jilene got me this stroller! I was stoked. It's a lightweight one that is super easy to fold up and throw in the car... I must have!

This is Brennen after the shower. The poor kid was exhausted!

Salt Lake Baby Shower:
On Friday I had my last baby shower in Salt Lake. I only wanted to have two showers and bust them out so I didn't have to have like 4...well let me just say it was the best idea ever. I got to see all my friends and family in the same night. I married into an awesome family, I kid you not. The Roses do not disappoint. A TON of people came to the salt lake shower and most of it was Les's extended family. I thought I was spoiled in Ogden but I was literally showered with gifts at this one. I still can't believe how nice people are especially relatives I have probably only met once.

Here is my fabulous diaper cake. The theme of this shower was just that...fabulous! Julie, Sheila and Jody went all out to make this a very glamorous shower and it was!

This was the gift table. My mom totally painted those letters for me for my nursery and I love them. Aren't they adorable. I think you can now all see where I get my craftiness from!

The whole party was red, black and white to go with the nursery. Very cute!

Here are the eating tables. Aren't those place mats cute? There are scrapbook paper and after the shower I got all of them so I can make a scrapbook for Eden. Julie you are so good!

Ever was so cute that day (that is before she became the devil!) She was sampling every piece of ice in the water bucket to make sure it was cold enough for everyone to drink. So thoughtful of her!

Here is THE CUTEST blanket my mom's friend at work made for me. Patti you are amazing! I absolutely love this blanket. Patti and Toni you rock!

This is the gift table after everyone left. I was glad we had the shower at my house because it all would not have fit into my car. THANK YOU THANK YOU to everyone who came to my showers. I am so lucky to have such great friends and family.

Okay people....can you believe I only have 4 more weeks until my due date?! CRAZY! I still can't believe that it's almost here and I'm going to be a mommy. I get very excited and nervous all at the same time. I want her to get out now so I can hold her but at the same time I want her to stay inside because I know what's ahead. I mean I took care of Bronson since he came home from the hospital so I'm no dumby as to what's in store! Here is my fabulous 36 week picture. I know I DO NOT look good at all but I'm past the point of caring. The tucked in shirt looks a bit funny but if I didn't try and tuck it in there would have been skin showing. My garments and shirts aren't long enough anymore.... it's very attractive! There isn't much I can wear anymore and I had no desire to look pretty. I just wanted to take a picture before a forgot...SOO here I am in all my 9 month glory! boys...eat your hearts out! You know you can't resist something as good looking at me!

Baby Showers

If for some reason your invitation didn't make it...consider this your invite. I'm pretty sure I invited everyone I know so if you didn't get an invite... 1st: I'm so sorry please don't take it personal...blame the post office and 2nd: I totally want anyone who reads this to come. I even double checked my approved list to make sure! F.Y.I. Marcia will be making her peanut butter cupcakes that she's rapidly becoming famous for at the Ogden shower so that should get ya'll to come.
(p.s. I totally made these cards...I know I'm talented)

24th of July

This year, like every year we went to Les' parent's cabin/house up in Kamas for the Annual 24th of July Horseshoe Tournament. This is something Les looks forward to every year. He is totally in his element and loving every minute of it. It's a really fun weekend jammed pack full of fun stuff to do. To start the weekend off, Les and his cousins built a little dam in the creek that runs behind all the houses for the little kiddies to play in and this year they stepped it up a knotch...they built two kiddie pools and a rapid for kids to go down on their tubes.

Here are the boys hard at work.

This is Brooks testing out the rapids section...it was pretty sweet. Quite the craftsmanship.

Saturday morning is the annual kids parade. All the kids line up and walk up and down the lane throwing candy at the adults... the kids love it. Les's family owns this whole lane and it's a private little road so kids and dogs get to roam free. As you can see this is no small thing...it's quite the show.

Brennen even got in on the parade action. He wasn't too sure about it but Kurt helped him make it through.

Here's Bronson at the parade...he mostly just wanted a balloon and once he got it he was done with walking....as you can see he's still trying to wake up.

After the parade it was on to the horseshoe tournament. It's a mixed couple tournament, double elimination, where you are paired with someone else's husband/significant other and vice versa. It's a fun way to get to know everyone and make some new friends. This year we had 33 teams and I was in charge of getting it all organized...I do what I do and it turned out great. Marcia, Kurt and Natalie even came up to join the fun (much to Tracy's dismay) but I was glad they all came.

Here is Nate in perfect form. She was paired with my father-in-law and they did pretty good. At first Nate wanted to get kicked out quick but she didn't realize that Dennis is a heavy hitter so she was in it for the long haul. After a while she really got into it and was pretty disappointed when they got out. I think she took like 7th or something.

Here's Tracy tearing it up! This is Tracy's 2nd year coming and it has quickly become "her time" with me and Les so she wasn't to pleased to have her other sister's raid her party.

While the horse shoe tournament was going on they have lots of stuff for the kids to do. One of which is a pinata. Brennen was totally stoked to hit that pinata with a golf club and he was on the ball about grabbing any candy that fell. A couple of times I had to grab him before he got hit by someone else because he was going for the candy while the kids were still swinging.

One of the many casualties of the weekend. Ever got whacked by a ball that Brennen hit and she got this awesome shinner. Tough girl.

Bronson decided to make Ever feel better about her little boo boo by hand feeding her strawberries. So sweet....and hilarious!

Brennen was in heaven. He was surrounded by lots of boys who wanted to play with him, but he made a special bond with Brittan, although he could never say his name. He just called him "that boy"

3rd place horseshoe winners. Joe and Tiffany. They each got $35

2nd Place - Mark and Angie (a.k.a. Natalie's nemesis) They got $50 each.

1st place - Joe and DeeDee. They each got $80. Kurt came in 5th place. He was so close to winning some cash...maybe next year Kurt!

After the tournament it was time to party it up. Here are me and Tracy enjoying the festivities. There was also an adult hula hoop contest. Which was hilarious! Here are some of the highlights...

Good stuff. I have a ton more pictures but I think this post is long enough. Needless to say, this a great time every year.
