Goodbye farmville

No not farmville on face book (losers) I mean Harrisville farmville. We have found renters! No more waking up to the sound of cow poop or the shaking of the house from the tracks. Double wide here we come! Trust me I will miss our house but I wont miss the money we spend on it! I also started my new job which compared to any other job I have had, is super super easy. I sit at a desk and do my homework. Once in a while someone will come in and I'll direct them where to go but other then that it is so easy I'm sure they will figure it out some day and assign me window washing. Our renters move in Decemeber 1st, I have a lot of work to do until then! Yikes.
I just faux painted our room a few months ago! Sniff sniff
The renters are ripping down the wallpaper and painting Logans room, Sniff sniff.

We'll see how long our new carpet lasts with the renters, Its very bitter sweet.

Oops

There is not another child on the face of this Earth that hates hair cuts more then Logan. My friend Lacie is a wonderful hairdresser and it takes a good hour to finish his haircut becuase we have to distract him and finally just hold him down. It horrible! It's almost enough to convince me to have a wookie as a son just to avoid it. It really does feel like child abuse and Lacie is usually on the verge of tears by the time we are done.

This time we both switched off with the razor to hide it from him, that only took a few minutes for him to figure out. He flipped his head back and knocked the clip off of the razor and we may have buzzed a big chunk out of the back. Why not just buzz the whole thing you ask? Because it is pure hell and it had already been an hour by that point... so here it is

Da... Derby

We took Logan to his first demolition derby a few weeks ago. When we sat down all their engines were on and Logan wouldn't even sit down, he was crying and wanted to go. Once the cars started driving he calmed down as long as I covered his ears. At the end he was cheering and so excited.

We may have used bribes to make him happy and coax him from under the bleachers

It was my first derby as well, I was pretty nervous. There were 3 rollovers and the crowd cheered! I was so nervous and just sat with my hand over my mouth hoping they were ok. Having a little boy is so fun, I get to experience all these things that girls didn't care about to see.

Family Update

We have decided to rent out our townhome in Harrisville and move into my dads old trailor, yes trailor (its a double wide thankyou very much). We are doing this because Nursing (I also got into nursing school FYI) is in Kaysville, 25 minutes away from Harrisville but only 5 minutes away from Layton. Lance already works in Farmington so both our commutes will be cut down. School schedule will be as follows:

Mon, Tues, Wed 8-4:30

Thursday and Friday clinicals

Sat and Sunday waitress and probably another night during the week.

This means: Lindee gets to quit her job YYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH! I hate my job with every fiber of my being, dont get me wrong, I love phlebotomy but hate plasma centers. This also means: Lindee gets to waitress again at nights which causes Lindee and Lance = BROKE.

So my dad is letting us rent for cheap to make it so I don't have to work so much and can focus on Logan and school. It sounds like alot and a huge change but it will actually be a break! Right now I'm working 40 hours and doing 15 credits as well as trying to move and get both places ready to rent. So I'm excited to get settled and QUIT.
Here are a few pictures of the Utah Fair we went to. Check out my sister Kelly's page for the whole story and somemore cute pictures.

Logan always takes the camera and loves taking pictures. Its so funny to see the world the way he does, except when you find 3 pictures of cow poo... close up... on your camera. Here is some of his work:
