Bumpdate:37 Weeks and considered Full Term!

Baby Girl is the size of a: Winter Melon

Stretch Marks: Nothing yet, Burt's Bee's Mama Bee is good stuff...or I'll get some the day before I go into labor.

Weight Gain: 25 pounds

The Bump: Is huge!

Cravings: Just hungry

Sleep: Get up at least once a night. I'm not super uncomfortable, just her dead weight on my side hurts at times.

Movement: This girl doesn't stop! But it's so fun to just watch my belly roll and Kevin can tap in a few different spots and then she'll respond. Lots of fun family bonding :) Staring the other night I realized in just a few short weeks then instead of staring at my belly we'll be staring at her. It's crazy.

Mood: Lazy, plain lazy.

Best Moment this Week: Started weekly Doctor visits and dilated to a 1, 40% effaced. That'll last a while I'm sure. She doesn't think I'll go early or late so 39-40 which is perfectly fine!

Looking forward to: Meeting her!

Symptoms: Braxton hicks here and there, back pain, started swelling a little but trying to stay hydrated.

My advice: For whatever reason I've been thinking lately..probably because of everything on Pinterest. Anyway. If someone was to ask for my advice on pregnancy then I have 3 simple things. #1 Be positive. #2 Stay Active. #3 Find a studio that offers Prenatal Yoga and Go! Very simple and I'm sure there's more, but those 3 things have been my life savers and honestly I attribute feeling so great to those 3 things.

High lights from the last few  weeks:

We had maternity pictures taken by Kevin's cousin so pretty excited to see those!

My ward threw a shower and can I just tell you this ward is AMAZING! Women showed up with presents that didn't even know me. Since I'm in the Primary I don't get out much and the other half didn't even know I was pregnant. The women who brought food didn't just go to the store and grab something. They made amazing cakes, desserts, and so much more! Even if they couldn't make it they either brought food or a present. The kindness we have received from so many people is just astounding and such a huge blessing!

Finished the thank you cards for the 3 showers!

My work threw me a "surprise" shower/going away party yesterday. The surprise didn't really work, ha! A little hard to surprise the office manager but it was incredibly thoughtful of them. I'm looking forward to being at home with this little girl but I will miss some of these people I've had the opportunity of working with for almost 3 years.

Laundry is done, nursery basically done and organized, and diaper bag is packed! Just need to clean, do some freezer meals, install the car seat and get our bags packed. Then I think we'll be as ready as we can be!!

Oh life...

Life is all about baby, talking about baby, preparing for baby, stressing for baby. So...what else is going on in our lives??????

Kevin is going to be playing for a semi pro football team up here called Stealth. Practices have started and first game is on April 4th I think if anyone wants to come and watch with me! He's pretty excited to play again and should be fun.

Kev has also gone skiing a few times up at Alta with our friends. I have been told that I WILL be going this next season. Which is totally fine, I need to try it at least once right?

He's still enjoying the new job, they keep him busy and is learning a lot in the tech world. They seem to treat him pretty well with steak from Ruth's Chris, shooting .50 cals and more free food. We are definitely blessed with his job though!

Nothing exciting is going on in my life, I go to work, go to the gym, then try to find energy to cook and clean. Work is trying to find someone to hire to replace me in my position. I knew I didn't want to go back to work full time to my position but the option of going back part time in a different position is a possibility. I wanted to make sure they knew that in plenty of time so that they could hire and I could train someone. Hopefully, with whoever gets hired can take on my 3 years of random knowledge in just a few short weeks.

We're super boring! But hey! It's March and spring is almost here, granted we never had winter so it's felt like spring time for a while now. Thanks for stopping by and checking out our boring lives :)

SLC Baby Shower

Baby Shower #2 was a success! This little one and myself were definitely spoiled by Kim with some amazing eats, presents, family and friends!

Hand made bows for a little activity!
