My Baby Girl is 3!

It was Chalyn's 3rd Birthday on Saturday(I know so so sad), and it gave me a good excuse to finally update our blog. I had such a hard time deciding what to do to celebrate her big day especially since she is old enough now to really understand and i just wanted her to feel so special and loved. So after lots of thinking I decided to do a little friend/cousin party. I was kinda worried that she was still to little for a real birthday party but it turned out so fun! I was really glad we did it. I stayed up forever the night before decorating and doing everything because i wanted her to be really surprised and she was. When we woke up we let her open a few presents and play with them before the party at 11:30. For her party we did a princess theme but since most of the kids were boys I made king capes for them, and gave them all a burger king crown with their names on it, the girls got princess sashes and tiaras. We had lunch, played poison apple (hot potato but with snow white in mind), played pin Cinderella in her castle window, had a Pinata, opened gifts and had cake and ice cream. It was so, so fun. Afterwards we took her to the movies for the first time to see Tangled, which by the way is my new favorite disney movie, and finished off the day with a few more presents we had saved. I really can't believe she is three already, and i also am amazed at how my love for her grows and grows every day.

Deer Hunt

We just got back this morning from five days of hunting in Beaver. It was so cold but one of the most successful hunts we've had. Luke and I split the first day so he could go with his brothers and family and I could go with my family like usual. Needless to say my family beat the Beaumonts the first day and got some really great bucks! Sunday we took a break to go to Cedar for Lukes sisters baby's blessing but were back out hunting Monday morning. We were able to leave our kids with Lukes mom that day and it was way fun getting to hunt with Luke just like the old days. We hunted with all of my family that morning and then went in for lunch and to pack up and go home but Luke decided to give "his spot" one more last ditch effort. He went alone and after hiking for just ten minutes shot a super nice four point. He called me and I went with his dad and brother in-law to get the buck cleaned out and drug back to the truck which was quite a ways away. They finally made it to the truck and got the deer loaded when we got a flat tire so it was way after dark when we got in but Luke was still so happy. He really wanted to get a decent buck this year and I was thrilled that he was able to. We had such a blast hunting. Good Job Babe!

Here are a few of my favorite images from Beckham's 3 month photo shoot. I think they turned out soooo cute and they totally show his sweet little personality. He is growing so fast and even though there are totally days when I want to pull my hair out, for the most part I love being the mother of two.

We're not dead!

So it's been forever since I've done a post and I had a few minutes so I thought I would update what's been going on in our lives. First of all we have been gone a ton this month. I went to St. George for over a week at the first of August and this past weekend we went to Beav town to hang out with Lukes high school buddies. We try to get together for a weekend at least once a year usually camping but with a new baby and one of the girls prego we decided to just all crash at parents and play during the days. We had such a blast as always playing at Kents Lake, BBQ-ing,playing games, the boys played their annual poker game, (Thanks Jake, Brad, and Kurt for not taking Lukes money this time) and just hanging out. Lukes friends are always alot of fun. And this weekend we are headed back to the mountain for a Fullmer family reunion, which will probably be the last this year. Hopefully I will remember to take pics since i've been slacking on that these days. I did do Beckhams 3 month portraits a couple of days ago so I will have those to post soon. He has been doing so good and he rolled over twice yesterday and I almost cried. I am really emotional when it comes to my babies growing fast. Anyways I will post again soon. Hope all of our friends and family are healthy and happy.

Family Reunion

Last weekend to celebrate the 24th we went to the annual Gale Family Reunion on Beaver Mtn. It's always so hard getting ready for camping but always so worth it, we had a Blast! We were there from Thurs. to Sunday and it was so nice to finally be in the fresh air of the mtns. I have been dying to get out and go since Beckham was born. We had lots of fun hiking, 4-wheeling, looking for deer, and doing fun activities for the kids like treasure hunts, painting t-shirts, and other crafts. My kids even did awesome sleeping in the tent, probably because it wasn't very cold this year and we had great weather. I have the best family in the world and it's one of my favorite things to get to play with everyone at the reunion.

Fourth weekend

We started off with a day at Seven Peaks with my entire family. We had such a blast!

On Saturday we did Family photos and then went up the canyon for a barbeque and fun at the falls.


And we finished the day with pizza, fun, and fireworks at the park.


Monday morning we went with Eric and Ashlie and my mom to the big parade in Provo. Chalyn loved the parade with all the big balloons, sirens, and cute floats. My mom got to stay until Thursday morning and it was hard to let her go home, we had so much fun having her here. We had a really great 4th this year and hope everyone else did too!

Beckham's Blessing

This past weekend we had tons of family in town for Beckhams baby blessing and for the fourth of July. We had such an awesome weekend and did so many fun things like went to seven peaks, had bar-b-ques, watched fireworks and more, but I'm gonna start with this post first because it was the most important part of the weekend. All of my family was able to come up and quite a few of the Beaumonts were there too. Luke did the blessing and did such a great job. I am so proud to have an amazing husband who holds the priesthood and uses it to bless our family. We had a luncheon at the park afterwards with lots of yummy food and fun. Beckham looked so stinking cute in his tuxedo that my mom made,(without even having a pattern,) she is so so talented. Beck is growing so fast and has been so fun lately. He smiles all the time and watches me everywhere I go, we just love him so much.

Father's Day

This past weekend we were able to go to St. George to play, do hair, and celebrate Father's Day. It was awesome to get to be with Luke and my dad, and then to see Luke's dad LeeR on our way home in Beaver. Here are just a few pictures of our weekend.
