Found

I am so computer illiterate that I lost, and could not find this blog I started in March. But one day I decided to try again- and there it was just sitting there like it was never lost in the first place. How that happened I have no idea. I did the same thing I always did, typed in the same address and passwords and usernames and it just decided to come back to me this time.

Well, so much time has passed that the waders that were enormous on me now look like this:

This photo was taken by the two year old by the way. This was three days before newborn arrived, and I did catch and land a fish by myself.

On Saturday Husband and I went fishing. Which was a very fun and good date. However, I would suggest that you do not do a leg workout the day before you cross a river in waders. There were no casualties but I did have very little control of my legs half-way across the river. It did not help that the waders I borrowed were enormous on me. Husband even called me the stay-puff fisher girl. So, crossing the river went something like this: Very fast water moving along which is deep enough that it's at my mid-thigh. Pick up leg, river carries leg downstream, place foot down and slip on rocks, foot slips in boot, 3 inches of progress made. It was quite comical and yes, I laughed the whole way increasing the hazard of falling. Once we forged the river we had a very nice spot to fish where he caught two and hooked another. I hooked into one myself but it went berserk, jumped out of the water several times and got away. All in all, a successful fishing date and I must say I am becoming quite the fly fisher woman. You may not be able to read it but, the hat I'm wearing says "Eagle Claw"... just pull out a tooth and paint my neck red.
