snow and more snow...6+ feet & Johnny boy...

Do you know who this is??????
Yes, that's an olympian Mr. Johnny Weir...you may know him for his stir for wearing fur in his olympic trials event...BUT JW, SUSIE Q, and Jilly Bean know him best from back this summer at Sun Valley Dessert/Ice show. Boy who would have thought we'd see an olympian dance to POKER FACE! lol. Fun times, this was the cover of my southwest magazine...had to laugh..
Welcome 6ft+ to Baltimore....You not only made the streets impossible, roofs to collapse, toes to numb, but you allowed me to spend TWO nights at Hotel Hopkins forced to work days, and sleep my nights, share my bathroom/shower with multiple strangers & coworkers...BUT yes, you provided a moment of bliss during a lunch break for attempts to sled and make snow angels with coworker Donna. Man, you took me by surprise, me and the entire Eastern Seaboard.

Holidays

So this past two weeks went by so fast. Devin and I flew in to LA and went straight to the LDS LA Temple (moregoodfoundation.org) I was able to go through the temple for the first time. It was such a great experience to have my family there.

Then the fun began, we went to Bako to hang with the Fam! We had Christmas and it was very exciting to have all the family although one was missing, one brother on a mission in Mexico, but we had the opportunity to talk with him on the phone. It was nice to have Devin there too. Fun stuff!

We were traveling bees, running to valencia, san diego, and back and forth from LAX it was quite the adventure for a small break. However, I LOVED every minute of it.

When I got back I was able to go do a session at the Washington DC temple. It was very sweet! Then, the next day I went to see the last day of the festival of lights with a good from from church...It was beautiful!!

Hooray for vacation!

SNoW dAY!

I got home last night from my work party with the idea that 2 feet of snow was coming...this is what it looked like at 12am prior to the blizzard...
Then the blizzard at midday..and on and on until the next morning.

snow plowers did their business, and this is the result:
Poor Gina had to get shoveled out so she could assist me with shopping on my only day off.
kids were sledding, driving was so so slow, gina was helpful with her sweet vehicle assist driving for stops and slides. All in all it snowed and snowed and still is snowing.... Awesome!
At 1pm...
The next day:

parked Gina at 1pm
and she looked like this the next morning:

The left overs after it was all said and done:

New York and the Baltimorians...

We took a venture north to New York to see the Nutcracker at the Lincoln Center Ballet. Gorgeous! My first viewing of the nutcracker and I was amazed by the music! Loved it!

My favorite Sweet spot to hit up every time I visit Scott H & Peter S. In New York: DYLANS!

Our Sweet HOST Charity...IF only my apt was as WARM as hers...I think I'd be in heaven!
Max Brenners on 14th...never a dull moment when chocolate and strawberries are combined!
Snappy snap at Grand Central Station
Shannon and my sweet new finds in Chinatown
The group marches on in SoHo
Hoodies with fur...& of course, chinatown

Subway fun
Rockefeller Center....Oh my gosh, note to self: NEVER go with all the tourists..or try not to be the tourist...wow, it was packed!
The Rockefeller Tree
"BIG SALE ... BIG SALE" or so he said and lured us in with his tactics....
Chinatown find, Kristen looks sassy!
Waiting for the subway at spring st.
One of my favorite places in ny, and I snapped a pic of it. Grand central subway station..the chaos is awesome!

Saks 5th Ave, you amaze me. I was in complete Awe as this Snow Flake display blinked and flashed along with "Carol of the Bells" ...It was so amazing. A MUST SEE!

And this is the bing of cheer from Bmore the Mt Vernon Monument with tree lights...
