Happy Valentines' Day!

Man, I just don't have the energy to fight blogger with the picture order today, so these will be out of order. Some of them are from awhile back because I just uploaded the pictures from my phone, but mostly they are from Valentine's Day.

Sam at the pool
Sam's valentine for Jeff (Jeff and Sam holding hands)
Sam's valentine for me side one (that's us holding hands)
Sam's valentine for me side 2 (Mom)
Our valentines this year which open to reveal the full picture: the captions are
1) I've got my Eye on you (cyclops eyes)
2) You're out of this world (alien ship with three little eyes for each kiddo)
3) We've only got eyes for you (with two regular googly eyes)
These are the efforts of an evening with modeling clay- we divided out the clay evenly for Jeff, Sam and I and then worked on our projects- Jeff made rocks, I made a garden and a pond with little creatures and Sam made a tropical sea with islands and submarines
Here are the Valentine's the John and I gave the boys (little gnomes made out of hershey's kisses, and little rocket ships made from candy too (mentos and the bigger one is mini m&ms)
A few weeks ago there was another hot air balloon festival here- this time with fun shapes
New Year's Day
Sam on one of our many after school 'dates'
Sam and Cougar at the new mini-golf place we found here- I love this place! Each hole is a different site from around the world; Eiffel tower, Statue of Liberty, Sphinx, etc)
Jeff's been washing dishes lately
5:30 pm one day- both boys zonked out (and I'd thought Jeff had taken a nap in the three hours he was in his room... sneaky little guy)
Jeff and I went on one of our first dates- I'm looking forward to many more- we had a blast!
This picture is from Sam's school when they had their special New Year's party. Jeff was invited and he was waiting at the gate to go in. I called Sam back to help him and Jeff went right in with him. It was so cute to see Sam looking out for his little brother and Jeff enjoying/being in awe of the big kids.
Over Christmas we rediscovered a nature park here and have been back twice. It's nice to be out of the city, even if Chiang Mai is a pretty green place.
