Erin DeGraw for Virtual Noise.

Friday here in Edmonton I shoot Erin for an Atlanta based website www.visualnoise.orgWe shoot for a couple of hours near her home, and I talked her into shooting a little portfolio piece for me.

These are a few of her picks for virtual noise.

I thought the eye make-up was a bit much, however that's what they wanted for a sexy Oh Canada theme.

Anne-Marie Mueschke

Tara and I photographed Anne-Marie Wednesday afternoon at Travel Town in Griffith Park before we headed to Dances with Films to see a screening of Losing Ferguson a short film out friend Trisha wrote and directed.  Oh yeah and we shot the still photos for her.

Anne-Marie is beautiful, graceful and expressive it was so easy to work with her.

I wanted to shoot with our lens baby (which usually sits forgotten in my bag), and an off camera flash, to experiment and of course have a little fun.

The f2.8 ring was way to soft for me, but I do like these two, but I did put the f8 ring in.

After Anne-Marie changed outfits I changed to a "real" lens.

Mariela headshots by Cutts Imaging Group

I drove into Hollywood to shoot Mariela's headshot.

We shoot behind her office.

And she wanted to shoot a few fun looks.

Anna East

I photographed Anna for my friend Angel a stylist and make-up artist.

We shoot for a whole day in her friends beautiful home, and there wasn't a whole lot of room, but I set up my beauty dish and luged it around the house for most of the day.

Switched to the 580EX2 for this last look.

Self portraits I made while I was sick

I got laid out by the flu the last few days and while I spent most of my time watching Supernatural on Netflix. I did make a few self portraits cause I was board and I had a small technical issue to figure that was bugging me.

I asked T what she thought of this first one, she said the loved it, then recognized me and said she hated it.  As I was editing these I kept singing the chorus to Am I Evil.  No I'm not, but it was a fun little distraction during a few miserable days

Miguel Griffith Park

Since I'd never been to Griffith Park when Miguel suggested we shoot there for his portfolio I thought good lord no power again, but why not.  All natural light?  No I've got a 580EX II in a 28'' Westcott Apollo and a reflector for one and three, number two down there in the middle is all natural.  Not normally my style, but this boy's got to play once in a while.
