Salam semua..

Tik tok tik tok lagi sebulan saja lagi untuk balik ke Malaysia. Sekarang rumah penuh dengan kotak-kotak untuk packing barang. Sekarang juga, kami tengah pulun untuk pusing tempat-tempat menarik sebelum meninggalkan negara UAE ini.

Minggu lepas, bersamaan 17/5/2010, kami ke Dubai Mall dan vroom..kami naik ke tingkat 124 daripada 200 of Burj Khalifa, bangunan tertinggi di dunia. Our trip to the top was at 10 in the morning and we managed to book the ticket earlier therefore we have to pay Dhs 100/adult. If to buy the ticket on the spot, we have to pay Dhs 400/person termasuk la kanak-kanak..terlampau la mahal.

Tiba di tingkat 124, kami terus menuju ke anjung tinjau, pemandangan dari atas memang sangat menakjubkan.. maklum lah ini pertama kali naik bangunan setinggi Burj Khalifa. KLCC pun belum naik lagi. Dari atas boleh nampak Dubai Mall, Syeikh Zayed Road dan kawasan sekitar Dubai. Memang cantik..

Selepas 1 jam berada di atas kami pun turun untuk cari makan di Dubai Mall pula..

Weekend Outing - Atlantis, Dubai

Entry to The Lost Chamber

Right after watching the dolphins, we continue our journey to the Atlantis, Dubai. Atlantis is located at the centre of the crescent of Palm Jumeirah and it is the most impressive hotel in Dubai with a big aquarium inside it. We took this opportunity to visit the lost chamber loacated inside the hotel. The entrance fee is Dhs 100/person and it was really worth it. But we missed the whale shark because the hotel already released it to the sea last month.

Weekend Outing at Dubai Dolphinarium

Last Friday we all went to Dubai Dolphinarium to see the much talk about dolphin show. It is conveniently located at Dubai Creek next to the Children Park and took us about 2 hours to reach there from Abu Dhabi (plus Abi's 'sesat' escapade with the Garmin right before Maktoum bridge...heh).

Our geng pengembaraan managed to get budget tickets to watch the morning show at Dhs 50/ person for adult and it's free for Luqman and Eiliyah, with Dhiya at half price. Mind you the normal price for the ticket is Dhs100 (120 for 'VIP' tickets..sheesh!) and this is indeed a bargain.

We were entertained by the ever so adorable dolphins and seals for 1 hour ++ and it was a very exciting show. Luqman enjoyed himself very much and he kept pointing at the dolphins and said 'dog..dog..' :) The dolphins are very clever and they can interact very well with their Russian instructor.. ermmm I wonder whether these dolphins can understand other language..

Wowww!! No other words can describe this.... Very entertaining performance, these dolphin can hula, jump through hoops...and sing!

Bazar Malaysia & Jalan2 di Dubai

Salam semua..

Guess where did we go last weekend? Yezza.. we went to Dubai for a weekend getaway and jalan jalan cari makan at Bazaar Malaysia held at CG's house every friday in March from 4pm -7pm. This time, it was held together with the Chinese New Year celebration. There were a lot of yummy foods!! Cendol, satay laksa, seri muka, mee bandung and a lot more... The best part of the day was the dragon dance, Luqman really enjoyed it. After that, all the kids also got ang pow from Puan Sarah.

It was a Malaysians get together time, kat sini boleh jumpa semua orang dan beramah mesra. For the first time, ummi met her blogger friend, Syigim. Selama ni kenal dalam internet je..

Oh ya, in the morning, we went to one of the shopping malls in Dubai, Wafi. It is a beautiful place with and one thing special about Wafi is it has authentic souq inside the mall, known as Khan Murjan Souq. There are many traditional shops where we can get crafts and Arab arts with nice decoration from across the Arab worlds. But as usual we did not buy anything hehe.

Khan Murjan also had its own traditional restaurant served Arabian foods and entertained by 'live' traditional musics. I think it was a very nice place to had lunch.. next time may be I'll come here again..

Top left, we went to Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world and enjoyed the night view, then we went to Dubai Mall to see the dancing fountain, the restaurant at Khan Murjan, Wafi and a beautiful masjid near Burj Al Arab.

Itu saja activity weekend kami.. next time we will go to Dubai again for more exciting journey.. adios!!

Ambassador Cup Round 2- Dubai

Salam.

Jumaat lepas kami sekeluarga bersama angkatan pemain pemain volleyball Abu Dhabi telah berkampung di Al Ahli Club Dubai untuk pusingan ke 2 Ambassador Cup 2010. Kami bertolak pukul 645 pagi dari Abu Dhabi dan sampai lebih kurang pukul 815 pagi. Seperti biasa Abu Dhabi berjersi kuning, Dubai merah dan Ras al Khaimah berbaju biru.

Meriah betul Al Ahli Club dengan ada gerai-gerai menjual nasi lemak, nasi rendang dan murtabak juga.

Kali ni Abi main volleyball mewakili Abu Dhabi dan ummi pula brsukaneka lari kaki tiga. Semua orang tak kira menang atau kalah dapat hadiah.. tu yang best . Luqman pun dapat hadiah cap dari sponsor.. syok. Sekarang mari kita layan gambar
