We had a fabulous day on Saturday...

...with a class in the morning and another (different class) in the afternoon! We all had a wonderful time, lots of fun, lots of chocolate and cake, lots of drinks and most importantly - lots of cards!
Here's a small selection of what we made, not everything by any means...

Look at this card above, would you believe that it is made using a sticker?  Made with our Outline Stickers, VW and papers from our new Citrus Paper Pack, this card design was a firm favourite...

and we made this with our Dinkie up, up and away stamp, love the little clouds and this:

Is it cold enough...

ooh a bracing walk this morning with our two doggies; Buddy and Martha, definately hat, scarves and gloves weather, brrr...
Last week I posted pictures of two of our lovely £2.00 Christmas stamps because I suddenly felt all Christmassy (the C'mas tingle), it's still there, thanks to the cold, looking forward to putting up fairy lights soon - just the thing to brighten up the dark nights.
Here are two more great little stamps to warm your cockles...

Dinkies Row of Snowmen

Dinkies Row of Snowmen stamp, complete with text: 'in the meadow we can build a snowman', don't they look right at home stamped onto our 'Falling Snowflakes' background paper and our White Tags?

Strangely feeling a little bit festive today...

Don't know what it is, might be the weather, heavy grey sky here (Wirral) and quite dark, but suddenly had a little Christmas tingle (do you ever get that, the Christmas 'feeling'?)

So I got looking through some of our Christmas designs and they did the trick, cheered me up on a dull day...SO, thought I would share with you too, feast your eyes upon a delightful selection:

Bauble Hedgehog stamp

We just LOVE our Bauble Hedgehog stamp, can I let you into a secret?  It wasn't supposed to be called 'Bauble Hedgehog' at all, should have been something like 'Christmas Tree Hedgehog' which is more appropriate given that there are no baubles in sight, don't know what happened, can only think that I was having a menopausal moment when naming it... lol

Here are the 'Bauble' Hedgehogs again, mounted onto our Christmas Doodles paper, a great pack comes in 2 sizes and lots of colours.

Nativity Scene

Here is our Dinkie Nativity Scene stamp, again another favourite (and aptly named this time!), the background paper is from our Christmas Jewels papers which come in a choice of colours and sizes and the blank card is our exclusive Elegant Edge cards and envs pack.

Was going to share more designs and ideas but this blog post is in danger of becoming too long (sorry about that) so I will come back another day with more lovely images to share with you.

Now, here's some news!!!    We have a little TV project scheduled for some time in January, quietly excited about this and we are designing new products especially.

Is there anyone out there who would like to make sample cards with our new products to be shown on TV?
We are only looking for a small number of lovely people, if you think your style matches ours and you would like to use our new products and have your makes shown on TV then please send photo's of your card makes to Gill at info@mylcdesigns.co.uk 
We are not asking you to join a team, just to design samples with our new products.
We would love to see your makes but please remember we only require a small number of designers, please do not be offended if you are not chosen this time.

Irresistible Image Folded Card

Hello everyone - it's Helen here to share a shaped card I've made.  

The photo above shows what the card looks like flat - the finished size is 14cm by 14cm so it fits perfectly in to a standard sized envelope.

Card ideas from our last class

Hi everyone, our latest class held in September was a sell out! As is our next class in November, which is good news for us.  November will be our last class of this year with new dates for 2017 to be announced shortly.
We would like to share some of the card ideas which we made in September, the card above is made using our Log Cabin Outline Sticker mounted onto one of our new Snowflake Doodle papers, isn't it so cool and our ladies really enjoyed making this.
We made good use of our Dinkie Poinsettia Corner stamp, backed with paper from our Christmas Doodles paper:

and we loved using our new The Purrfect Combination Cat Stamp Set (all images seen below are included in the set), you can see that our ladies enjoyed a good assortment of ideas and themes

This is just a small selection of what we made on the day and many thanks to Helen for designing a wonderful selection of card ideas, we enjoyed making all of them and together with a cheeky munch on chocolate, biscuits and mini rolls (with lots of refreshments from Steve) a very good day was had by all.
